fluid - HORIZON

I've had 5 from different brands. Hiboys are good, but some models are solid tires, and it's really bumpy and dangerous in the rain or snow. Gotrax models have air tires to my knowledge and top out at about 22mph, fold well and have good customer service. My current Fluid Mosquito, has solid tires, is lightweight, but fast, 3 braking systems and folds well, but pricey. My co-worker has the Fluid Horizon, and for the price and features, I'd go with that one IMO. It has a front air and rear solid tire. Battery life is sufficient for your travel needs. This is late night, off-the-top-of-my head info, whatever you decide, fact check my above info.

Purchase a refurbished Fluid Horizon so it can fit in the trunk of your Bolt. I own both and it fits perfect with room to spare.

Pretty close to the best combination of performance and portability I could find. With a 260lb rider it easily keeps up with someone 80-100lb lighter on a G30LP, and between the way the handlebars fold down and the collapsible bars I can carry it in the back of my small hatchback with a similar (if not smaller) cargo area. The Zero 9 is the same basic frame, with more power, disk brakes, and pneumatic front and rear tires (Horizon and Zero 8 have a solid rear tire and rear drum brake only). Edit: Reddit really doesn't want to let me format a table in my post. A Fluid Horizon is 38.6 x 7.1 x 14.6 inches when folded, goes 23mph, and has a rear 500W (800W peak) hub motor. You can get it with a 10.4Ah 48V battery that's good for 20-ish miles of range, or a 13Ah battery that's good for \~25 miles of range.
