Moreover I was planning to get a G2, I found someone selling it for 850 (new) on marketplace
Dude the Apollo Go is way more fun than the G2, no contest. That extra power makes a huge difference when you're just riding for kicks. Your G2 should easily get $500 with under 500 miles, especially if you've kept it clean
Bro your lifting up escalators the scooter fits on the escalator just walk it onto the first step no need for lifting. I wish my scooter was 44 pounds I have g2 that’s 53lbs and Kaabo mantis X plus that’s 63. The better the scooter performance and quality the heavier the scooter. 44lbs is actually sweet spot
I don't know what you all think about kukirin. I have a G2. It costs less than 500 euro, and is very cool. 50km/h and some power to climb. And suspension that makes the ride very smooth. But i don't know other models to compare..
G2 isn't good tuned. Stock firmware is much smoother. Just do modified DRV stock fw with 40kmh
Extremely cheap and "higher quality" do not got together here...but for 2.5 miles if you spend $500 you will be all set. Avoid the parts bin temu/amazon crap. It will not last. NIU or ninebot or navee. Either one will be fine for a rather short ride. My job is 6 miles away. At one point I had a go trax and I could get there in like 18 min....i do not recommend go trax though. You best bet is one the "N" brands.
Thats pretty light - you can use just about anything with a 350W + motor Probably your best deals are segway F series or Gotrax G Series
I used to ride a GOTRAX commuter scooter every day, and the biggest problem was how fast everything started rattling and getting loose. The folding mechanism got wobbly pretty quick, and the ride just got rougher and rougher the more I used it. For like casual weekend rides it's totally fine, but for actually commuting on it daily? It didn't hold up nearly as well as I was hoping. The cheap price is why people go for them, but the tradeoff is you end up spending way more time fixing stuff than you really want to !!!
