r/ElectricScooters • Low cost scooter for off-road/trail riding. Speed and range not important. ->It is heavy, but it's fairly durable. The tiller/handle bars fold down so it fits in smaller cars, and make carrying easier. It has a walk mode, where it will creep slowly allowing you to walk next to it. I have no issues crossing rocks and branches. It is far more capable than I thought it would be.

Speed and range not important. ->Actually if your budget is $1000, I would recommend the Ausom Gallop, Segway ZT3 Pro, GOTRAX GX0 or GOTRAX GX1. Gallop is a Kukurin rebrand as well, basically a dual motor Leopard. Has the best performance of the ones I just listed. The ZT3 just came out, its a cool looking single motor scooter, but I think its marketed towards off roading. GX0 is a fairly new dual motor thats not very expensive. GX1 is over $1000 but would be worth it if a sale comes around. It's built like a tank.
