Get a gotrax gx1. A little more room. Dual motor for a bigger dude, dual suspension. I ride with one foot sideways.

It is heavy, but it's fairly durable. The tiller/handle bars fold down so it fits in smaller cars, and make carrying easier. It has a walk mode, where it will creep slowly allowing you to walk next to it. I have no issues crossing rocks and branches. It is far more capable than I thought it would be.

All these teewing haters. I absolutely love my gt4. I've had no issues with it whatsoever. I'd recommend it. I've also got a gotrax gx1 and and a gx3., a niu kqi3 max and a niu k300x. Love all them too and they get lots of haters for them scooters too. I've had nothing but good times with all of them.

I’m getting the gotrax off-road dual e scooter! Has shocks on and turn signals. Goes up to 38 mph with a 60 mile range. I’m excited

r/ElectricScootersThinking About Upgrading to a Dual-Motor Electric Scooter…

I used to ride a GOTRAX commuter scooter every day, and the biggest problem was how fast everything started rattling and getting loose. The folding mechanism got wobbly pretty quick, and the ride just got rougher and rougher the more I used it. For like casual weekend rides it's totally fine, but for actually commuting on it daily? It didn't hold up nearly as well as I was hoping. The cheap price is why people go for them, but the tradeoff is you end up spending way more time fixing stuff than you really want to !!!

r/ElectricScootersE-bike or scooter? Scooter rec for low to no budget please
about 2 months ago

Extremely cheap and "higher quality" do not got together here...but for 2.5 miles if you spend $500 you will be all set. Avoid the parts bin temu/amazon crap. It will not last. NIU or ninebot or navee. Either one will be fine for a rather short ride. My job is 6 miles away. At one point I had a go trax and I could get there in like 18 min....i do not recommend go trax though. You best bet is one the "N" brands.
