Based on 1 year's data from Feb 15, 2026 How it works
I had the RS midnight and it topped out at about 64 miles an hour and I weigh 150 lbs the RX7 is actually faster
Bought an inmotion RS midnight a few months ago, and it had a handful of issues out of box. Was getting annoyed with the results of going back and forth with the retailer I bought it from, so just decided to go shopping for something new all together. Gspace Mars GTR caught my eye and I'm excited to get it together and see what it's made of. Out of the box, build quality is s tier, I love the telelever suspension to get away from c-type design, the ability to add 12 inch wheels, and the bonus to add a power inverter along with a built in fire suppression system sold me. Update: its a fuckin dope scooter. Update 2: Its by far the best 72v scooter Ive ever ridden. Beats the RS in just about every possible category. Also getting an absurd 20 miles more range out of the GTR.
Thanks. Yea I don't get on any scooter without gear. I run a moto helmet, a AA rated Knox urbane pro top, and rev it parabolica AA rated pants. Both have ce2 armor in knees and elbows. I've crashed a motorcycle before and never wanna have to pull gravel out of my body ever again lol.. I just got on it for a test ride and 50 plus feels so much safer than my inmotion RS. This thing is superrrr stable even without a damper. Handle bars are lower than I would like, but I think I can fix that with some bars with a bit more rise.
Nah I still have the RS - its running fine now so just gonna throw it in storage for now as a back up. Might wind up selling it if I like the GTR more.
its good now. It came from factory with a bent rotor and deformed tire, which was causing a pretty nasty wobble. Then it started throwing an overheating code on the rear motor a couple times. I just had to turn acceleration percentage down when I was riding hard. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, its just voro sucks to deal with, so I just wanted to move away from the RS all together just in case I have another issue down the road. I really do like the RS, its a shame Voro has them exclusively now.
The first thing that jumps out at me right away is how much safer it feels at high speeds. Once you get up to 45-50+ it feels so much more stable than everything else ive ridden, and there is ZERO shake or wobble even without a damper. It's engineered so well you cant really tell how fast you're going until you look down at the speedometer. You can feel the difference between the c-type suspension and full fork immediately. Its much easier to keep straight, and going over imperfections and potholes on the road is way easier to navigate even with the shock upgrade on my RS. The only thing I would say the RS has over the GTR is the acceleration feels a touch smoother, and the deck feels a bit longer, which I like. The cockpit accessories feel a little more premium on the inmotion, and obviously the app with diagnosis tool, and then the ability to fine tune acceleration and brake force is great to have. Beyond that, literally everything else on the GTR is an upgrade. Ive only been through 2 charge cycles, but i believe im getting close to 20 miles more range on the gspace even while riding the shit out of it. Gonna do a range test tomorrow to get a better idea of exactly how much more. Ive ridden quite a few 72v scooters, and the GTR is hands down the best yet, and this is one of the few impulse buys I do not regret at all lol. This thing deserves way more attention then it gets and its a shame there arent many reviewers with videos up on it because its damn near perfect. Supposedly g-space is dropping an 84v model early next year and I am for sure going to pick it up. Gspace also has great customer service from my interactions so far. Ordered this on a Friday morning, and had it on my porch the following Thursday. They also sent me a 4 piston Nutt kit for free which is something im pretty sure voro wouldn't dream of lol.
I own Apollo Go, Stellar, & RS Midnight 2.0. Coming from a original nightmare Apollo Phantom 60v. The go and the stellar are identical and built like tanks. Stellar has more power, better lighting, better suspension. RS Midnight is a race machine with race features. The Apollo is a smooth power house with sidewalk capability. Both are amazing. I prefer the Apollo Stellar despite being Apollos biggest hater. RS midnight has to be maintained, screws tightened, controllers replaced. It's like a race car with easily replaceable parts. You may need to repair it out of the box or down the road. The stellar is rather dumby proof. Puncture proof tires, Regen 90% of the time. Better in congested areas. Smooth throttle control reduces fatigue and evokes confidence in tight spaces. Plenty of power. Ludo is almost too much without proper traction control. RS is more stable, lower to the ground and better for fast takeoffs with its Gyro and Traction control. If you like to race and brake to each intersection, RS is more fun. If precision and reduced fatigue are your priority. Stellar!!! My 2¢
I love my dualtron thunders, wolf gt, and fav is rs midnight.
Inmotion RS is the truth, light, and scooter life way, my friend. Bless your righteous quest 🙏
Yup. Since it was pretty order. Every part is easy to work on and such. Watch gingers channel for his shouts and yogi Steve from electric scooter academy to prove the point. Yogi does more miles in a month than most yearly riders. You want true blue numbers and the truth without hype/marketing is free there. You get what you spend to a point. Ride well my brother
I like the inmotion RS Jet and Midnight when I test drove them. I feel like the Apollo had a better durability. I should have probably spent more time on them. Me and the misses went with Teverun Mini Pros(my 4th choice). We wanted a great scooter at lower speeds, hill climber, and light. The Teverun Fighter Supreme was an amazing tank. It was too heavy for putting in the truck without a ramp. The Daytona would have been an awesome off-road scooter. Another tank with all kinds of bells and whistles. I have a Segway, mini-motors, and a Inokim. So test drive, test drive, test drive.
Rule of thumb is, the higher the performance, the worse the water resistance will be. I wait a day after it rains before I’ll take my 7260R out. They claim high water resistance like IP65 but in reality, the faster a scooter goes, the more cooling it needs for its motor, batteries and controllers and cooling means airflow. Any place where air can get in, water can also ingress. The only hyperscooter I would trust as actually being “waterproof” is the INMOTION RS 2.0, anything outside of that I haven’t seen any real world testing to convince me otherwise. https://preview.redd.it/dqgjwwz17v4g1.jpeg?width=525&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=537d6ee97455bc0174be800068dd3216b7093856
INMOTION RS is the go to for super scooters. It’s getting a little long in the tooth now though. It’s waiting on a “refresh” to upgrade some components like the screen and wiring harness. I just ordered the Teverun 7260R, that has some really cool features like a built in GPS module that can geofence your scooter or give you an alert if someone takes it. It’s also probably the most powerful 72v production scooter available right now and has the best battery with a 60AH pack with a high discharge rate that allows for moddability. There’s the NAMI Burn-E Max 3. NAMI is the scooter company Apollo wishes it was. Build quality and engineering is next level. Super fast, built like a tank. Everyone who has one around here loves theirs. There’s the Roadrunner RX7 which is the equivalent of a riced out Honda Civic, it has Lumilor panels that are like massive LED sheets and it comes with Italian PMT tires and upgraded brakes as well as a removable battery. It had some issues when it first came out but they appear to be working out the kinks. There’s also stuff like the Kaabo WK-GTR or the Mars XTR but I’m not super versed on them. That’s just a few off the top of my head. Obviously I’m gonna push the 7260R because it’s what I chose but hyperscooters fill a lot of niches and I’d look into it more to see what you want.
Apollo makes trash scooters. The inmotion RS is decent, but they put the kick stand in the wrong spot, if you actually lean hard in a turn you can catch the kick stand on pavment. I would get a teverun fighter supreme ultra instead of the RS.
I have a Punk Rider Pro, as well as an Inmotion RS. The RS doesn't fit the budget (or the weight) but I was around 270 and rode my Punk Rider Pro just fine, and it was pretty easy for me to move it up a flight of stairs into my apartment (weighes about 70lbs). Unless you have to go up like 10 flights of stairs I think you can pretty easily move it in it's folded position. With your weight on the Punk Rider I think 20 miles roundtrip is definitely doable, especially if you can charge it where you're going to. And if you're riding at night the light is actually pretty sick. The headlights suck so definitely get some aftermarket ones and some mirrors.
In motion all,day everyday. Realize it’s a big heavier scooter so if you aren’t having to,fold and carry regularly it’s the scooter to purchase IMO.
Well put it this way, besides the probably big weight and size difference, you can always power down the RS, can’t power up the phantom. I use my big ass Burn E as my everyday scooter. I tried using the Vsett I bought for my gf, but yeah the power isn’t there, plus she has the acceleration turned down a bit. Like 3/5. So I don’t feel comfortable getting a good lead in front of traffic. Of course when it’s gets up to speed it’s not issue. No customizable modes so I’d have to go in the p setting every time to change it. Sure, it’s easier to whip around… but that’s about it. I will lug my scooter everywhere because I can switch from granny mode to balls to the wall in two button presses, with my regular riding mode dead smack in the middle. 52v vs 72v is no joke. I’d go with the RS and call it a day. With all of that said, unless you’re dealing with stairs, the widest part on scooters is the handlebars, you can always put it on the lowest mode if you need to walk with it. Also: being able to adjust the ride height on the RS makes a huge difference. With the stem *and* the deck. Also also: had no idea the 52v phantom is just as heavy as my 72v burn e (102lbs), just about the same top speed as well. So weight is out the window
Don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty sure the Phantom has its own customization going on where my issue isn’t an issue on that scooter. And the phantom is way stronger than the Vsett. I was just speaking from my experience. It’s really about what controller and motor is packing. But all in all a 72v scooter like the RS is a very different experience power wise than the Phantom. I personally rather have the power for when I really wanna get a thrill. Even though my scoot can go up to 45, I’m mostly near 30, but the torque I have at hand is frickin nuts, and that’s just the weaker base model hauling 220lbs. It’s frightening when my girl rides it, she’s like almost 140. The RS has even more torque. If I didn’t hear so many issues coming from it, I’d recommend the RS Jet. Punch in a smaller form factor. It’s so tiny looking
