iScooter i10 pro Does up to 45km/h, goes up to 50km if you put it in eco mode, has front and back light for night driving, can fold, has dual pneumatic suspension for taking it up and down curbs, handles offroad terrain decently and light rain/wet roads Comes with an accesories bag that can be attached to the handle bar with an extra tube in it, in case your tire punctures Its only about 350-400 dollars converted from danish crowns, heard they got a bad rep but i call review bombing, theyre very nice quality and bang for your buck. Done over 350 km so far on mine, about 40 or so offroad and theres no mentionable wear and tear https://preview.redd.it/u6494bfqgfuf1.jpeg?width=3060&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01abfc5afe485ac57d9b8716b9bacb39949f604b

iScooter i10 Pro, you dont need to go to 1000 bucks Its around 350-400 dollars, got a bad rep after supposedly being review bombed but i got one myself and its great quality Mine is still new, only done around 350km but theres nothing to mention in regards of wear or faults Dual suspension, does up to 45km/h, goes up to 50km in eco mode, has two modes, so 6 speed settings in total and front and back light for night driving Rated for 150kg load, so it'll handle your 240 pounds no problem https://preview.redd.it/5fq8zjm4ifuf1.jpeg?width=3060&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c48ed94b6dca14f48fe2e8337178fe245028e15

iScooter i10 pro Cheap, fast, exceptional quality and has hydraulic suspension on both front and back wheel Advertised as being able to go 50-60km per charge but really its more like 20-25km at 25km/h

I think theyve been unjustly review bombed, I bought one around a month and a half ago for 2600,- Dkk IP54 rated, but due to the construction it can probably handle medium-heavy rain Ridden it on asphalt as well as forest gravel trails Only downside is that its range is not as advertised or maybe based on 5 km/h slightly down hill and the suspension is a bit stiff It handles relatively steep inclination well, and you can hold the brake and tap the power button 5 times to go from 25 km/h max speed to 45 I wouldnt buy any model below the i10 pro though

I suggest the ix8 from iscooter! It is a double motor scooter of 1200W each, 2400W in total, 1500W on the single wheel. The price is currently on sale on Cdiscount at €650~, without promotion at €800 almost everywhere… The autonomy is announced at 65-70km restricted, really restricted we can do 50km maximum. Unrestrained is another story, everything will depend on your weight and your speed, drive at around 35-40kmh maximum, with 2.3 accelerations at 55-60kmh, weighing 80kg like me, you will do 30-40km! 4 modes are offered, a pedestrian, another peaceful, a road and finally a sport (5-15-20-25kmh). Unrestrained, that’s 15-30-45-60kmh. All this while being high thanks to its 12” wheels, 2 large headlights placed at the bottom of the stem for good lighting, and 2 large front suspensions, as well as one under the rear footrest. Hydraulic brakes to be bleed approximately every year like a bicycle… What more can I say, nothing because nothing to criticize this famous iscooter brand, well done to them! For less money, I also recommend the iscooter i10 pro, max speed of 45kmh unrestricted, 30km of unrestricted autonomy approved 🤝.

Do ***not*** buy anything iScooter. Quality-wise we know them as the scrapings from the bottom of the barrel, and their support is known to be terrible to nonexistent. Hiboy are *somewhat* better but their low-end scooters are uncomfortable and not very safe, as they all have solid tires but no suspension on the front fork; they only start being OK above your budget. On a side note, none of these are *manufacturers* - they all import generic scooters from relatively unknown Chinese manufacturers. Only Ninebot/Segway, Niu, Brightway/Navee and a few others make their own scooters. As for suggestions: more info please. In particular, you don't specify a range - we don't know how long the trip to school is. If it's short enough - and keep in mind [the marketing lie factor](https://reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/wiki/rangespecs) - then a Niu KQi1 or KQi 100 could be a good idea. Whatever you get, keep in mind that the tires must be pumped up to specced pressure more often than many people think - ideally weekly. A cheap bicycle pump *with a manometer* works well for this, otherwise they sell electric inflators that are more practical.

$300 wont buy even a decent scooter, must less a good one. If that is the price point you are working with, I would recommend checking the used market. I have ridden Gotrax, iScooter, Segway and eMove scooters, among others. Gotrax was complete garbage, the iScooter was decent, the Segway was built like a tank. I have mixed feelings about eMove Cruisers, which is my current ride. On the one hand the suspension is phenomenal, as is the range. But the tires, brakes and other bits haven’t lasted very long. I don’t have a ton of miles on mine, I right now need to replace both tires, possibly the brake calipers and one of the brake lines snapped for no apparent reason.
