There is a caveat that the 440 pound rating excludes the 63 pound weight of the scooter itself, so the real world capacity of the Raptor Pro is 377 pounds. That's still plenty. I am a bit over 300 myself and I bought a few days ago. I rode it quite a bit in test riding, got it home and the weather has prevented us from getting out to ride yet :) It was actually an upgrade from an iScooter iX3. The iX3 was great, it just couldn't climb much of a hill with my big butt on it. :)
