Segway G3 max if you want something solid, reliable, with good features. People will recommend cheaper brands but the problem is the polish really isn't there, and they have genuine durability issues. I own a dualtron. It's fast yes, but it's very noisy and rickety. I recommend Segway the most. The max g3 is my current daily. the ZT3 pro got some good reviews the F3 is well equipped for the price The e3 pro is unbeatable for the price. I recommend spending as much as you *can* spend reasonably. Scooters are the absolute best between 1000-2500$. Beyond 2500 isn't worth it. Under 1000 is a gamble but Segway has options. Also note: Please, when you get one, charge it ALL the way, then eide until it's COMPLETELY dead, for the first 3 times. I've had cells flat multiple times because they sit in the store warehouses so long. After that you should be able to use it however you like. What happens is it'll show it's charged way before it actually is, and will seem to die absurdly fast.
I also have F3 and the same variables and I have about 20% left.
I mean, if you’re not flying about, I think you can get away with a smaller deck. I used to hop on my girls old m365 clone, and while it was extremely small, it worked for slower speeds (>15mph), idk about being on it for close to an hour, idk imagine it would get uncomfortable. The F3 has a decent deck size for sure. Can’t tell you about the NIUs (on paper it’s longer but I never rode one)
My son has an F3 and it’s been great so far. I liked his enough to buy a ZT3 Pro for myself.
Love my F3. Can't recommend it enough. Plenty of reviews on YouTube.
I ride 12 miles a day round trip to work and back with the F3. Once at home I usually have 30% battery life and that’s on sports mode and averaging 80% of my route on cruise control on the f3 at 20mph.
I literally have no hills and our bike lanes are smooth. I’m sure hills would kill whatever’s left of my battery. I also weigh 230lbs.
I'm probably not the best person to offer advice, but I bought an F3 this week as my first scooter. Was torn between that and the Max G2, went with the F3 because it was lighter, and seemed easier to live with. Most of the pros about the Max G2 didn't really fit what I was looking for. I'm around the same size as you, and it's been great so far. Drove a few miles to the grocery for my first ride, went about 18 miles round trip to the beach for my second ride and it was great.
Bought an F3 close to a month ago. Picked it because it was light enough to toss in my car and could support my bigger than average frame. Plus it was on sale. Also picked it because it was at Best Buy, I wanted to buy it from a place where I wouldn't have much drama returning it if i needed to. The app is annoying, but it's a smooth ride. Sometimes I'll wish I bought the Max G3, but I don't think it would be worth it for my situation.
If you prioritize safety and reliability you need to raise your budget, i would recommend the ninebot g30 because i never had any issue with it, i also had an f2 pro and loved it but the steering stem had a lot of play and eventually it broke, it was under warranty so they gave me a new f3 and it has play too, and it has like 20km
