If I may and I don't know if it's available in the states, but the Joyor T10 60v 2x1000w all hydraulic brakes and shock absorbers is quite fantastic in terms of quality/price ratio... Fast (over 40 mph), stable, light and easy to handle, excellent braking, comfortable... Very interesting promotions sometimes, especially on Aliexpress, but it will be more around $600 Otherwise at around $500, the Kukirin G2 is considered a "must have" among young riders near me. The Yume Raptor was mentioned, excellent but very sporty 2x3000w, biker armor recommended 😸

I know the new Kukirins have great reviews, but I'm not a fan of single motor scooters unless they are built around it like some of the insanely priced hyper scooters appearing recently. Motor s10-s has been a consistently reliable and good scooter or quite some time, so I would personally go with that

Been e-scooting since early 2021; my 1st, a G30P (broke while riding); 2nd a Emove Cruiser; [2nd & 3rd are Joyor S10S](https://paa.neocities.org/img/escoot4.jpg). I bought a 2nd one while the first one is still 100% b/c I got paranoid about Tariffs. And rightly so; I got it from their [US warehouse](https://joyorescooter.com/collections/us-warehouse) for $849, and then they went up to $1049, but now they're back down to $899. The S10-Sz; the 5 is single motor. Go dual motor & all hydraulic brakes, no matter the brand.

In my region, the city buses require e-scooters be folded & carried on/off buses, and then, only if there's room for it. In more modern cities, their light rail allows [micro-mobile](https://paa.neocities.org/mobile) riders to roll in & park it in a designated space. Consequently, I have [2 S-10's](https://paa.neocities.org/img/escoot4.jpg) for regular riding, and an [ultralite](https://rideonelectric.com/lightest-electric-scooters/) for last mile trips on bus, which I do 5 or 6 times (days) a year. Committed to being car-free, I'm looking to move to a locale suitable for my lifestyle. Perhaps technology will make future ones more long range for their weight.

Just need and allen keys to change the tires, not special tools, it is a decent quality scooter, if you want more quality you will have to pay for more but for the price it is a great option. Ive put over 500 miles on mine.

Joyor has plastic front and back that isn't hard to break, and garbage elastomer suspension Kukirin has front suspension breaking issues and saw a few battery fires (atleast the G4) and they're everything but waterproof (zero sealing stock, if you wanna get it anywhere near rain consider siliconing the whole thing shut) i'd imagine you can just put metal handlebars on the Ausom

Lets start with the joyor, its the fastest and lightest one out of the bunch, but that's where the benefits end unfortunately. It has elastomer suspension that is terrible because for lighter people it just feels incredibly stiff, for heavier people it sags to a point where scooter becomes a lowrider and scrapes the ground, rear fender on it tends to break off within first few rides because it uses one sided plastic mount. G2 master is having a new version released this year (in some regions already has) with tubeless tires, new motors and key ignition. I would personally suggest to not even look at joyor even with the appealing price it has, the remaining three scooters are simillar but each one has its pros and cons: G3 pro is the only one with removable battery but its heavy as hell, G2 master is the only one that comes with regular cable brakes while the rest have hydraulic ones but its quite affordable. If you don't need removable battery then your two remaining options would be G2 master and DT2 pro, and at that point you just have to look at which one of them is more appealing to you. Objectively DT2 pro is probably best option price to performance and features ratio but it hasn't been in the market for that long so if there are any flaws with it they are not yet known. On a side note, ignore the manufacturer range claims because you will likely get about same range with all of them assuming you ride them the same way. Water resistance ratings should be taken as indication that the scooter can survive trip home if caught in the rain, but you SHOULD NOT go swimming with them in the puddles or god forbid pressure wash them, water WILL get in to bearings, deck, screens and other components, its not worth it. Beyond that, yeet Joyor out of the table and go with either of the remaining three options, you shouldn't be disappointed.

i love my s10s 🤩. it's very quick to speed and the pu suspension with 10x3 pmt's is really, suprisingly good! just make sure to go over it with silicone if you're going to get it wet but the dashboard and wheels are already super water resistant if not proof because i've had mine in deep water and never had an issue. really the best scooter for it's price out there.
