I’m 75kg, us9 shoe size and 175cm. It has a small deck but if you rest the rear foot on the kick plate it should be fine. The Mantis King GT would have a larger deck, but again the King GT has shorter handlebars.

Xiaomi and Kaabo should have been on the list. My bad. My Xiaomi is 5 years old and still going strong.

Funny that I have owned several kaabos in the past and I still forgot to put it on the list.

Mantis King GT with the knobby tires could handle that no problem. I ride dirt fire roads covered in gravel and it's manageable so long as the gravel is on top of hard pack and not inches deep.

I just want to know the real-world range I can expect on the Mantis King GT with my 140 lbs. Because we apply the common “advertised range ÷ 2” rule, we get about 28 miles. That’s not much better than many scooters under $1,000. The King GT costs twice as much, and while it has nice features, the range doesn’t seem impressive. I canceled my preorder for 899 dollars Seagway Max G3 because I found from first owners that even 25 miles is a stretch for this models.

Never had overheating with mine and it does struggle on hills, you'll slow down pretty good. One of the reasons I upgraded to the mantis King GT

I think both options are good and you can't go wrong with ethier. They both have great build quality and battery range. As for maintenance, you only really need to do brake pads, tires and brake bleeds. I find the the zoom hydraulic brakes on the Mantis is slightly more work as it seems to become mushy quicker then then ones on the Klima. I don't know what you exactly mean by reliable brakes but both options are still good as long as you have good and fresh pads. As someone who rides a lot I personally prefer tubbed tires. I've previously gone trough a set of tires in a month and I'd much rather be able to change them myself with a few simple tools due to them having split rims. You do have a much higher chance of puncture or a flat but not having someone else to change the tire is much more cost effective for me.

I’m pretty sure a good amount of people will say to put Apollo way lower, even with their newer models. Unagi is too high. I’m not even gonna lie, Unagi is just too high for my personal opinion. I have heard and seen nothing but sheer disappointment from Unagi. The only thing I like about them is that they do have some universal scooter info on their website and they allow people to test scooters first to see how they like them. Kaabo being in the same category as Varla and Gotrax surprises me… either my scooters and Gotrax scooters are better than I thought (I did put 2,045 miles on a Pegasus though, still no issues, 1,000 with V2 and still clear there), or Kaabo isn’t as great as I thought.

But kukirin has had some quality control issues in past , it's a good option but if he wants something super well made and good that can definitely get up that , a kaabo, vsett , inokim, inmotion etc scooter is needed.

That's because kaabo isn't actually good and good scooters remind you of that
