I understand you’re Looking for something in the $2500 range but if you can afford to fork out a little bit more $$ you can get a good of road type of scooter. I own the wolf king GTR and the emove roadster and neither one has given me problems. I ride them daily. I alternate between them and I commute 35-40 miles round trip to work 5x a week. Of course forging over more $$ doesn’t guarantee you anything 100% reliable. Good luck.
Kaabo Wolf King GTR is a pretty good entry level scooter with nice suspension and good lights.
look into the wolf king series from kaabo. King gt and gtr are amazing and hit 60+ in seconds very easily. Have a decently long range too. I’d suggest Dualtron but that’s overpriced bs. (i had a bad experience on a Dualtron and from then on i do not suggest them to people). Teverun and bluetran are also pretty good. For the highways i use either my big boy standing scooter (75mph) or my big boy sit down scooter (125mph)
270lb here. Kaabo GTR is the GOAT. A good alternative—I use—is the Segway Ninebot F30 (bought at Costco). I swapped out the stock tries for rigid (all rubber cores). This way they never pop. Doesn’t matter how hot the pavement gets, they are great (gets hot in summer in swf). Also because they are rigid they can handle more weight. It’s a solid just cruise around the neighborhood scooter.
No speed wobble on my kaabo wolf king.... all the way up to 60
Great to hear, see a few wolf kings around, when I got mine a year ago, it took me like 2 months or so to get up to 50kmh thought it was to fast, now I just want faster!! Glad for the dual motors though with Aucklands hills!!
Having had everything from a 12v single to a dual 72v, one of the big factors is weight. The dual 72v scooters all weigh a lot. Dual 60v often has all the benefits without quite as much weight but it depends what you actually want. Anyway, the Inmotion RS is quite a nice ride when set up right. The Wolf King handles a bit like a truck.
Why don't they offer a 165mm air can option for suppleness in dirt? I have those tires on my Kaabo Wolf and they bite well, but why have those dirt knobby tires with a firm spring suspension?
Play the love of everything stay the hell away from used kaabo scooters. Some of their entry level options like the mantis King were not too bad. But the wolf, King GT and that level were freaking awful. The folding mechanism is ass. And they are a nightmare of electrical gremlins and the warranty support is awful. There’s a reason they were dropped by distributors in North America. So many warranty problems that they would ignore and refuse to honor by sending parts. You’re honestly pretty close to being able to get a Teverun fighter supreme ultra. But unless you really need the 60 amp power battery you would be fine with something like the fighter 11+. Or a more affordable option with a similar top speed would be the blade GT 2. You could get the blade GT2+ if you want the 35ah battery which would be closer to your budget of $2500. Very solidly built. And my favorite thing is that typically the customer support from the distributors or from the brand itself are pretty good. Fairly easy to get parts if you have an issue for some reason.
I’ve bought a couple of dual motor scooters from AliExpress, and I’ve been really happy with their performance. For a scooter that’s built like a tank, I recommend checking out the Kaabo or Dualtron models—they’ve got awesome power and are tough enough to handle rough roads or off-road trails. Based on your budget, if you’re looking at a scooter around the $300–$600 range, these scooters should be a good fit. I also recommend checking out the reviews and asking the seller directly about customer support and warranty to ensure you’re getting something solid. To make your purchase even better, you can use some of these discount codes: $10 off $69: RDLFK10 $16 off $109: RDLFK16 $30 off $199: RDLFK30 $45 off $299: RDLFK45 $60 off $399: RDLFK60 These will definitely help you save a bit while getting a solid, durable scooter.
