"You can't make a reliable and durable scooter for very little money. Kukirin is a good example. They skimp on quality and reliability, not on marketing. ... They guarantee Kukirin for half or a quarter as long. ... You don't have to keep it alive with constant repairs."

"Stay away from kukirin they have left me with a snapped scooter ... it snapped going 7 mile on flat ground ... After 6 months utter junk"

"given all the ones with serious bad bolts, i would suggest against kukirin ... like serious death traps imo, i'm not against the brand but they'd have to replace all bolts with proper steel ones before i'd get near Any of them. ... alot of people had bolt heads sheer off just by tightening with crappy multitool hex keys"

I myself do have quite a bit of experience with my M365, but I didn’t find that relevant because they’re basically totally different scooters I imagine. I did want to smoothly transition into more powerful vehicles from my Xiaomi scooter since it’s only 350W, so I avoided options like the Cecotec Outsider Makalu because of its 1600W motor (even though I am aware there are more economic modes to limit the power) because of the seat and likelihood of it being faulty if I find one for the price of a smaller, 800W scooter (so, they’re generally more expensive). I do have some experience with the 125cc bike I mentioned - on private land of course - just to get a feel for the speed and maneuverability of a bigger 2-wheeled vehicle, though it’s only 100kg it’s a jump up from my scooter, and being on a quite incline-y town with dead ends, slightly tilted roundabouts and sloped streets with stop signs makes stopping and starting being quite a small person myself a slight issue, but I reckon I’ll get used to it once I get my license and manage to get a feel for the bike, knowing that I’ll get bigger in the future and manage the bike’s weight a bit better. But, I certainly believe in the buy once, cry once mindset, but I am limited by my parents’ budget and lack of choice in terms of scooters in the used market, as Spain (my area more specifically doesn’t have the widest array of scooters being sold) isn’t famous for its scooter selling market. I’ll look further into more powerful scooters, but I fear finding a too good to be true deal, even though I have used the second-hand market for a while and know my way around it mostly, I am somewhat limited by my inexperience in scooter models. Any suggestions knowing my current situation are appreciated. Just to set a benchmark, I initially went for this French brand called EcoXtrem, the 800W Bison model specifically. I am now further looking into this “Kukirin G2 Pro”, just seeing it because of specifications and cheap price in used market, those are my 2 requirements: price and specifications which adapt to my likings. If you see any models which might interest me or feedback, do let me know, thanks.

I got the Kukirin G2 Pro, I've done about half a km and everything seems good. I'll do a more detailed explanation once I own it for a while but by far I love how it handles and its looks, the only real nuisance is the fact that the handlebar shakes when I go relatively quickly but it's not an issue as I'm guessing I can just 'tighten' the steering (forgive my terrible terminology) and also the suspension being too hard considering my low weight but both are things I can adjust or modify, so no big problems. My only complaint is that it doesn't have dedicated signals, so the side lighting flashes according to which indicator is on, which might be a little too discreet for cars to notice. The front lighting is good, but the rear taillight is thin and not too powerful. I may consider getting a lit helmet with red LEDs and turn signals. Aside from that, it's wonderful. More detailed explanations coming when I resolve issues like the steering and suspension. Great so far.

So, a brief explanation of what I think: the scooter is great in terms of maneuverability and can avoid any obstacle at a medium-low speed (the case for most of these because of their small wheels) and it 'goes' a lot better than my previous M365, but it's a bit noticeable that the motor isn't an 800W (nominal) rather 600W. Not to say it's slow, it just takes a while (kinda) to get from 35 km/h to 45. I've learned to overcome the steering problem, and even though I have gotten suggested to buy a steering damper, that would just make it feel more like a sluggish bike in terms of low speed handling, and so I've tried to overcome it. Now, the scooter is great for transporting; clearly a lot better than a Makalu or other hefty scooter, even though I don't move my scooter around so much, sometimes I take it to the city and transporting it there takes folding down a seat even in an E-Class. It's generally well built, and takes a lot to f* it up. I have already had an accident due to a bump (going over it too fast (25 km/h) while not gripping on it too well (I was fine) but I am now more careful and pay more attention to the road closer to me, especially, especially at night. It's a pleasant scooter to ride, most of it is well built and very tactile like the accelerator and brakes, suspension is good, though going slowly through rocky ground if you don't weigh much like me is a bit of a pain in the wrists, and aside from the somewhat frequent rattling and crunching(?) sound of the stem which I'm not sure has increased because of the accident, but what I do know is that the only issues that have come up is some scraping of the paint on the brake levels and slight peeling of the rubber grips on the handlebar, aside from that, no issues including mechanical ones. Only minor things that have popped up are the rear taillight sometimes working properly, other times it will shine very dim (but I believe it's got to do with the wiring because of the intermittence of the issue) and the horn on the light not working, but I have replaced the light with one which has a more concentrated beam and louder horn so that's fine. Though, I would like if it had larger wheels (maybe just 2 inches bigger), but there's already many models out there willing to do that, and it's nice having good maneuverability. Right, maybe this wasn't so brief. Oops.

Either a Kukirin G2 or, if you want to buy from reputable brands/stores, a Segway F2 pro, both sell for approx 500e. There's also the Kukirin G2 pro which has a telescopic stem, but with your weight and it deployed all the way it could become a weak point. Also do you have steep hills to climb ? A puny single motor might struggle with 110kg and steep hills.

Couldn’t have said it any better mate. I had the kugoo g2 pro, and at first i felt like I was driving an electric motorbike 😅 buut 2-3 weeks and your typing/up all night watching YouTube tutorials on “how to make your 27.5 mph kugoo g2 faster” I since got a g2 master and wow.. let’s just say that electric motorbike dream became real 😊 Just like you said, Don’t ride like a nut. I use mine daily to get to work and now with this one I like to take longer ways (just to be safe) 😁😉

The kukirins are great, I  have the G2 and I love it. The G3 got a facelift model recently,  so idk if it's a good scooter now, because the old version wasn't great as far as I know. G2 Max is also very good, but it's larger. Please take in to consideration the weight of the scooter , especially if you climb stairs every day. Also how much do you weight and do you climb hills on your commute?

It's an amazing scooter, just get. You'll be very happy. Trolls are spreading sh*t about KuKirin because they overpaid 3-4 times for equivalent scooter or bought a kid's toy Ninebot with 350W motor and they're sad. Get the KuKirin, bro, amazing brand and very reliable.

For the price you should check out the Ausom L1 or KuKirin G2! I'd say the L1 has a better frame, better headlight, louder horn and more features such as NFC card locking. The G2 on the other hand is more popular and has better brakes. They're both very good value and have the same exact power, speed and battery capacity. Have fun!

NIU have bad quality imo, Apollo is also bad quality with lots of snapped stems. The dualtron you mentioned isn't what you'd expect from the company so wouldn't recommend it. The others I've had no experience with or I don't know enough about to recommend. If you have Apache over there the pro edition is good for the price, with a little caveat the battery brace is sharp on my friend's one will need filing down and some foam to protect the battery. I would recommend the Kukirin G2 however there is currently a stock shortage.
