G2 Pro (2024 Version)

Id recommend the kukirin g2 it’s great for around the town and offroad has a speed limiter to limit it to 25kmh goes about 58kmh with the limiter off on mine straight road (full battery) I have the 2024 version with no problems picked it up for 350 second hand off marketplace with a new battery installed kukirins get a bad wrap some places but it depends on the driver it’s a load of crap the quality is decent better on the 2024 compared to the 2025 I’ve driven both and you’d get about 50km range on a full charge it’s around 450-500 brand new depending where u look.

Kukirn has some solid options in that price range but honestly their water resistance can be hit or miss depending on the model. If you're coming from esk8, you'll probably want something with decent torque and acceleration - the G2 Pro might be worth checking out since it's got that aggressive feel you're looking for. For wet weather riding, I'd actually lean toward looking at the Vsett 8 or maybe even stretching for a Blade 10 if you can find one on sale. Both have way better IP ratings than most Kukirns and the performance is there for someone used to electric boards. The family aspect is tricky though since most high-performance scooters aren't exactly beginner friendly - might want to grab something with different ride modes so you can dial down the power when others are using it.

For 45-50km/h I would recommend a Kukurin g2 (not the pro, its in my opinion inferior to the standard G2 (800W, 48V 15Ah (0.8Ah less then the g2 pro). The g2 has better suspension, a quick fold system and the g2 pro takes a bit longer, is less complex to work on and stabler. I own a g2, so I know what I am talking about, but Im also a bit biased😂, 3500km ridden and the only problems were my fault. It would cost €450-500 new, but you can find basically new ones for €350-400 second hands. My g2 range at 3500km, 190cm 85kg, is at top speed 20-25km but easily 50+km at 25km/h. For legal scooters, Ninebot g2 max or g30 are fine options. They are 'worse' in terms of speed, battery and suspension for the same price as Kukirins, but they are legal. If you buy them in a shop, you can get warrenty (2 years often) I would avoid expensive brands, maybe look at Kukirin, Ninebot, (Xiaomi maybe but they could have worse quality). It depends on your needs, Kukirin is a good all-round choice but illegal, Ninebot is legal but imo too expensive for what you get, Xiaomi is meh

better suspension,headlight placement is waayy better.bigger brakes.

my gf kukirin g2 pro is sweet for a slower scoot. parts easily available and ez to work on. jus saying because i seen g3pro on ur list.

Kukurin is a pretty good brand to alot of people (me included so there is bias to this response). Some people just want a pretty fast scooter with ok build quality for cheap. Kukurin fills this niche very well.

For around $500 you can get a KuKirin G2 which goes 28mph and has a max range of 34 miles,(realistically around 22 miles, I’m 15 yrs old, 6’0 and 170 lbs, and its perfectly enough for me) and it has a great suspension, and if you maintain it well, there won’t be any issues (I’ve had it for 6 months and I only needed to replace the brake pads once which cost like $10). I ride with a motorcycle helmet, and It’s a really stable scooter, I never fell before.
