r/ElectricScooters • Kukirin G2 pro opinions for first scooter ->my gf kukirin g2 pro is sweet for a slower scoot. parts easily available and ez to work on. jus saying because i seen g3pro on ur list.
r/ElectricScooters • Whats the best scooter on this list? ->Couldn’t have said it any better mate. I had the kugoo g2 pro, and at first i felt like I was driving an electric motorbike 😅 buut 2-3 weeks and your typing/up all night watching YouTube tutorials on “how to make your 27.5 mph kugoo g2 faster” I since got a g2 master and wow.. let’s just say that electric motorbike dream became real 😊 Just like you said, Don’t ride like a nut. I use mine daily to get to work and now with this one I like to take longer ways (just to be safe) 😁😉
r/ElectricScooters • Getting my first E scooter ->I dont know how the Kukirin models are in The United States but i wouldnt reccomend the A1, i have a Kukirin g2 and it has a bigger battery, better suspension and better brakes.
r/ElectricScooters • best budget scooter? (im so broke) ->I take roads like this on my Kukirin g2. Not perfectly comfortable, but stable, and can also go top speed.
r/ElectricScooters • How “capable” of an off-road scooter would I need for this drive way? ->The kukirins are great, I have the G2 and I love it. The G3 got a facelift model recently, so idk if it's a good scooter now, because the old version wasn't great as far as I know. G2 Max is also very good, but it's larger. Please take in to consideration the weight of the scooter , especially if you climb stairs every day. Also how much do you weight and do you climb hills on your commute?
r/ElectricScooters • Affordable 20+mph E-scooter?!? ->For the price you should check out the Ausom L1 or KuKirin G2! I'd say the L1 has a better frame, better headlight, louder horn and more features such as NFC card locking. The G2 on the other hand is more popular and has better brakes. They're both very good value and have the same exact power, speed and battery capacity. Have fun!
r/ElectricScooters • Need advice! ->Kukirin g2/4 have bad frame and steering, and the folding mechanism on g4 degrades really fast as well as the suspension
r/ElectricScooters • Is the M6 Max off road electric scooter worth buying? ->NIU have bad quality imo, Apollo is also bad quality with lots of snapped stems. The dualtron you mentioned isn't what you'd expect from the company so wouldn't recommend it. The others I've had no experience with or I don't know enough about to recommend. If you have Apache over there the pro edition is good for the price, with a little caveat the battery brace is sharp on my friend's one will need filing down and some foam to protect the battery. I would recommend the Kukirin G2 however there is currently a stock shortage.
r/ElectricScooters • Advice on Low cost, last-mile options ->Keep in mind at least kukirin is a bit honest about their rain test estimates where it is may be 150 pound rider at around 15 mph and you will get that range on flat Road. Xiaomi is actually on crack when they do their range estimates. Barely 100 pound rider going maybe 10 mph especially on their scooters that have a top speed above 15 mph.
r/ElectricScooters • should i buy kikirin g2 or xiaomi 4,5 ->If you can push your budget, something like that kukirin g2 or similar might do the trick. Because depending on the hill, you’re basically gonna want dual motors. I’m 245lbs now but when I was 280ish I struggled even with a scooter that was single motor and around 1000watts. I’m also 6 foot two. And at 6 foot five you may want something that has a standard handlebar and a stem mount. That means you would be able to use a bicycle, stem razor that would essentially allow you to increase the height of the handlebars by 2 to 4 inches which would make a lot more comfortable to ride without feeling like you’re riding a kids scooter. I did that and I’m only 6ft 2in. So I think that’s something you would definitely benefit from. It sucks but at your weight. You really want something heavier duty. You gotta remember that a lot of the cheaper scooters were tested using Asian people which are typically closer between 100 and 150 pounds. An idea of what you might consider https://ausomstore.com/products/ausom-dt2-pro-e-scooter
r/ElectricScooters • Help finding a scooter for a 300 lb, 6' 5" fella going uphill every day ->Ausom is just a rebranded KuKirin, so better get the original KuKirin. I don't think there's a better scooter than the G2 at that price point.
r/ElectricScooters • Looking for $500-$600 E-Scooter that goes ~25mph ->the kukirin is way faster and 800w is nominal, at peak it has 1200w
r/ElectricScooters • thinking about buying the xiaomi scooter 4 pro 2nd gen ->Depends on roads, laws, side walks and well if you wanna spend the money. I got a kukirin g2 which was about $600 and my daily commute is only like 2 miles. Takes me 5 minutes luckily. I’d say if the place where you live has a proper route for scooters or bicycles then do it. If it goes I’d say over 25mph make sure to get a motorcycle helmet cus crashing goes that speed on a scooter is gonna hurt like a mf
r/ElectricScooters • Thinking of getting an electric scooter for my daily commute, worth it or just hype? ->Is the seat required? I can recommend kukirin g2 or g2 pro. Maybe get just a bit more money and get kukirin g1 pro.
r/ElectricScooters • Can I get this scooter with 1000w while being 200lbs? ->I just found out the g1 pro is sold out. G2 is definitely going to carry you well. It's quite fast also.
r/ElectricScooters • Can I get this scooter with 1000w while being 200lbs? ->Every scooter with a key / Nfc chip. Most Kukirin don't need App's
r/ElectricScooters • Electric scooters that don’t use apps? ->I recommend getting him something that can peak his interest in the hobby, like a KuKirin scooter. An M5 Pro might be suitable since it goes fast enough and has an adjustable stem. If you're looking for cheaper but functional, an L12 scooter will do just fine: https://m.alibaba.com/x/x9z8LPD?ck=pdp Do make sure to inflate the tires to 45psi when it arrives though.
r/ElectricScooters • Scooter For Teen ->Expensive without reason kukirin is the king
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->Dualtron 2000 euro kukirin is the half of this price , now the more Chinese companies go to scooters dualtron will disappear if the prices stay so high
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->I own both kukirin is very good with the latest scooter with quality you stay to behind to check them out
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->Yeah definitely it's just that kukirins are allergic to rain and high pressure water so be careful with those and they should treat you well. Remember to wear proper safety gear when you get one
r/ElectricScooters • Would this be a good first scooter? ->You can't make a reliable and durable scooter for very little money. Kukirin is a good example. They skimp on quality and reliability, not on marketing.
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->They guarantee Kukirin for half or a quarter as long. With normal brands, you can find scooters that have done 10,000 km and only cost two tyre changes. You don't have to keep it alive with constant repairs.
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->i have segway, kukurin, caroma, and freegoev. all of them hold their own very well. can’t go wrong any of them
r/ElectricScooters • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended electric scooters in the past year ->We constantly tell people to get brand-name scooters instead of knockoffs and parts-bins, but while for low-tier scooters this is often understood, mid- to high-tier scooters have the problem that brand-name stuff gets really expensive. This prompts a lot of people to get, say, Kukirins instead of Dualtrons. Our stance about those tends to be that they might be decent value for money, but only on the condition that the user can do maintenance and fixes. If nothing else, mid-tier generics and near-generics tend to be *somewhat* better built than [the *real* cheapies](https://reddit.com/r/ElectricScooters/comments/1gtbsr2/cheap_m365_knockoffs_currently_being_discounted/), so we don't feel so alarmed about them. There's not a lot more that we can do; markets have their trends, and the push toward the bottom has existed in every product line ever. That's how cheap products even exist at all, though of course there's almost always a compromise in quality. Some people get this and accept the tradeoff; some get it and decide for a higher quality scooter; others don't get it at all and then complain that their Kukirin has a bolt loose and they don't know how to screw it back in.
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->Just as long as you know the tradeoffs and are prepared to maintain and fix it yourself. We don't have a problem with people who understand this part of the bargain - I should know, as I'm one of them - we're just pissed at those who buy with no understanding of anything and often without having done a whit of research, then come here to complain that their parts-bin scooter needs some basic repair they don't know how to perform.
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->given all the ones with serious bad bolts, i would suggest against kukirin like serious death traps imo, i'm not against the brand but they'd have to replace all bolts with proper steel ones before i'd get near Any of them.
r/ElectricScooters • What e-scooter should I buy? ->no don't get this brand, try kukirin
r/ElectricScooters • Getting my first E scooter ->KuKirin for sure, speed, quality, looks , price much better value overall
r/ElectricScooters • New scooter choice ->Stay away from kukirin they have left me with a snapped scooter dont reply to emails now im stuck with zero transport to work and walking 7 miles a day to work cant afford to buy another..spend abit more and get a better brand
r/ElectricScooters • Looking for 40 mph scooter recommendations! ->Dumb comment it snapped going 7 mile on flat ground https://preview.redd.it/k4cjg23iz7se1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cee3c80a5850f5e96813df6cb86c83c9e3e2d544
