Own_Ad6797 0.5As a rider of an escooter for the last 4 years I would recommend those but a decent one. I have a Dualtron Eagle which I used to ride from Wainuiomata into the city with no range anxiety. Then charge up at work. At the time i was working into the night so would then train to Woburn and ride back over the Wainuiomata hill. A decent escooter with good power, speed and range will normally run you $2500 -3000. Most are foldable so can be taken in buses and trains (so if it is wet you can get home without riding in the rain) and therefore also easy to store in a flat as well or at work for charging. The one I have does 70-80km on a charge, top speed of 60kmh and can climb the hutt side of the Wainui Hill with no issues(and that is steep).
