"Do you think my Burn E2 Max doesn't speed wobble without a damper? Of course it does, that's why it comes with one, just like the LS7+ will."
Go all out. I got my Max g3 and in a week got my nami burn e2 max. I love both of them
My nami died at 300 miles :(
🤔 NAMI is great value for that money, provided there’s nothing wrong with it. One hell of a 🛴 puts a smile on my face every time I ride mine “X mode is scary” Ok as a first scooter provided you ease yourself into it.
Looks like seaty lock. I have one like this but thicker for my nami e2 max
I got a max g3, and a nami burn e2 max. the Segway is the best all rounder. u can always upgrade battery and add external battery too.
This is coming from someone that has two Nami burn e max 2s 40 ah, a burn e max 35 ah and a wolf king gt. I’m pretty sure I owned another 7 or 8 before these
Nice ride! I had almost 7000kms on my Burn E2 Max before it was sheared in half by a car at a cross walk (I'm fine, my NAMI....not so much).
Have you considered the used market on FB marketplace? Perhaps a local Escooter pro-shop has a refurbished high end scooter on for a good deal as well... I got my Burn e2 max with only 600km on the odo for under 4k... Then sold my original Synergy Tsunami for 2k (which I had bought used for exactly that amount)... So my Nami only cost me 2k out of pocket.
You'll find best value in the used market, but take someone who knows what to look for with you. I got crazy value on my Nami Burn E2 max buying used, but it was easy. The guy clearly took care of it and had enough money to not give a damn about selling it for substantially less than retail. If you want new and this is meant as a basic commuter scooter, without the need for robust front and rear suspension, you'll be hard pressed to find better value at your budget than a [Niu KQi3 Pro](https://shopca.niu.com/collections/kick-scooter/products/niu-electric-kick-scooter-for-adults-kqi3-pro) or the more expensive KQi3 Max. They are on sale right now and very good value. I have to say.. it's funny you mentioned being unwilling to spend $1200, because that's the price point where you can find MANY great value options. Most people buying something like the KQi3 pro feel almost instant regret not because it isn't a nice scooter, but because they immediately feel like they wish they could go a bit faster and have a nice soft suspension, just FYI.
Do you think my Burn E2 Max doesn't speed wobble without a damper? Of course it does, that's why it comes with one, just like the LS7+ will. If you're riding anything above 30mph, it should be an automatic inclusion for safety. And let me guess, you're gonna say "but it wobbles because of geometry, so it's bad!" Wobble isn't the reason you need a speed damper, dude. You need one because you're on 11 inch tires and hitting a rut or imperfection at high speed will easily jackknife your front wheel and send you for a bad slide. Good geometry doesn't prevent that. Get a damper before you kill yourself.
Do you have subway/rail transit? I've found I almost never put my scooter in my car, as my city has excellent transit which can get me anywhere I want to be in order to save battery for when I get to the destination I want to be. The few times I've had to put in the car it does fit across the back seats if the seats are folded down, leaving the trunk available for any luggage/gear. I own a fairly large scooter (Burn e2 Max). Mind you, I have a VW Jetta which is a pretty spacious car. Under $1000? USD? Consider - Joyor S10-SZ - Varla Eagle One - Apollo City (currently on sale and decent if you don't plan on beating the snot out of it, despite what people say) - Dualtron Popular dual motor - If you can extend your budget... Consider the Dualtron City... Hugely slept on design. If you don't need hyper scooter type speed, it's fun to ride (I've tried it). - Yume Hawk is on sale for under $1200 that I've seen on some American sites. - Nanrobot has some value offerings, but I can't speak to quality other than some people seem to love them, and others bash them here on Reddit (but what else is new?)

A brand not many people look at (or even know about), but they make some really good stuff is Langfeite. It's out of your budget, but the H2 has probably the most interesting handlebars I've ever seen, and they even have an 84v model called the GT2 RS. Stuff closer to your budget might be the C1, C5, or GT2 mini. I've been looking at alternate brands for a while now. I love my Nami, but it's always good to peek at what the competition is coming up with.
If you can afford the max version, I would go for it. It has a bigger battery, better brakes, more powerful controllers, and motors. That being said, the base version is extremely good. I'm at 5400 miles on my base model. Been extremely reliable. I upgraded to Magura MT5e brakes.
If you want a tank, get a Nami. If you want a tank with plastic cladding & a bunch of digital features, get a higher-end Segway. Both make solid scooters.
In my experience Segway and Nami scooters handle rain without an issue.
Ive got a burn e2 max. I can Testify that with the damper properly adjusted I've never had speed wobbles, and i've has it to 65 going downhill. 60ish top on what appeared to be level ground. I ride mine pretty hard too, hitting 55 on nearly every ride, and I use it about 2-3 days a week for over a year. In the beginning I did have them a few times and realized that the damper does in fact need to be properly adjusted.
The Burn E is by far the most appealing deal on your list, assuming it's in good shape and doesn't have any problems.
i got my nami burn e 2 max in feb of this year and have put 2500 miles on it so far. I store it locked outside. im in milwaukee
