Go all out. I got my Max g3 and in a week got my nami burn e2 max. I love both of them
r/ElectricScooters • Bought my 1st electric scooter now I wanna move up! ->My nami died at 300 miles :(
r/ElectricScooters • Circooter's Landturbo Pro dropped — worth switching from 1000W? ->Looks like seaty lock. I have one like this but thicker for my nami e2 max
r/ElectricScooters • Got annoyed with gremlins on my Inmotion RS, so I did a thing. ->Nice ride! I had almost 7000kms on my Burn E2 Max before it was sheared in half by a car at a cross walk (I'm fine, my NAMI....not so much).
r/ElectricScooters • Heavy rider looking for best Hyper Scooter! $4-5k ->Have you considered the used market on FB marketplace? Perhaps a local Escooter pro-shop has a refurbished high end scooter on for a good deal as well... I got my Burn e2 max with only 600km on the odo for under 4k... Then sold my original Synergy Tsunami for 2k (which I had bought used for exactly that amount)... So my Nami only cost me 2k out of pocket.
r/ElectricScooters • Best Electric Scooter for at or below $1450 CAD? ->Have you considered the used market on FB marketplace? Perhaps a local Escooter pro-shop has a refurbished high end scooter on for a good deal as well... I got my Burn e2 max with only 600km on the odo for under 4k... r/ElectricScooters • Best Electric Scooter for at or below $1450 CAD? ->You'll find best value in the used market, but take someone who knows what to look for with you. I got crazy value on my Nami Burn E2 max buying used, but it was easy. The guy clearly took care of it and had enough money to not give a damn about selling it for substantially less than retail. If you want new and this is meant as a basic commuter scooter, without the need for robust front and rear suspension, you'll be hard pressed to find better value at your budget than a [Niu KQi3 Pro](https://shopca.niu.com/collections/kick-scooter/products/niu-electric-kick-scooter-for-adults-kqi3-pro) or the more expensive KQi3 Max. They are on sale right now and very good value. I have to say.. it's funny you mentioned being unwilling to spend $1200, because that's the price point where you can find MANY great value options. Most people buying something like the KQi3 pro feel almost instant regret not because it isn't a nice scooter, but because they immediately feel like they wish they could go a bit faster and have a nice soft suspension, just FYI.
r/ElectricScooters • WHat's the best budget scooter available in canada? ->Do you think my Burn E2 Max doesn't speed wobble without a damper? Of course it does, that's why it comes with one, just like the LS7+ will. If you're riding anything above 30mph, it should be an automatic inclusion for safety. And let me guess, you're gonna say "but it wobbles because of geometry, so it's bad!" Wobble isn't the reason you need a speed damper, dude. You need one because you're on 11 inch tires and hitting a rut or imperfection at high speed will easily jackknife your front wheel and send you for a bad slide. Good geometry doesn't prevent that. Get a damper before you kill yourself.
r/ElectricScooters • Looking to buy a scooter on sale today, where should I look? And what should I get? ->If you can afford the max version, I would go for it. It has a bigger battery, better brakes, more powerful controllers, and motors. That being said, the base version is extremely good. I'm at 5400 miles on my base model. Been extremely reliable. I upgraded to Magura MT5e brakes.
r/ElectricScooters • What do you consider S-Tier for Electric Scooters? ->Ive got a burn e2 max. I can Testify that with the damper properly adjusted I've never had speed wobbles, and i've has it to 65 going downhill. 60ish top on what appeared to be level ground. I ride mine pretty hard too, hitting 55 on nearly every ride, and I use it about 2-3 days a week for over a year. In the beginning I did have them a few times and realized that the damper does in fact need to be properly adjusted.
r/ElectricScooters • What is the best 65mph scooter for its price? ->i can easily do 70kmh on very steep inclines with my nami burn e2 max
r/ElectricScooters • What kind of scooters are better for hills? ->My Nami burn e max has 3800 miles on it with seemingly no battery deterioration or any other issues. Try getting that with a no name scooter... Just saying! https://preview.redd.it/6vmo1bgatbne1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b3a67e8cdd1afd70f5b8337f4938b23602d3e7d3
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->Look at Nami scooters. I have the Nami burn e max. It's built for off-road. It's expensive, around $ 3700. 72v 40ah batt. Riding hard you get 40-60 miles. Keep it under 20 mph your looking at about 80+ miles. Fast too. 60 mph. I've had mine for 3 years. Have just over 4700 miles on it. Have only changed brakes and tires. It also has the best suspension in the scooter world, with adjustable rebound dampening. Hope this helps.
r/ElectricScooters • Off road scooter options ->60 volt scooters will do it 72 volt scooters will do it with supreme ease if You don’t care about cost a Nami burn e max would be a great option more than ample power enough acceleration to leave you thinking damn this thing is quick the other thing that I like About the Nami’s is that You can always just contact The Companies owner directly and. Have any parts you need shipped to you in 4-5 days when a scooter retailer runs out of a part it can take weeks or even months for them to get new stock in if you need a part and can’t get it your not going anywhere until then with a Nami you don’t have the parts problem that many scooters do anyways just my .02cents
r/ElectricScooters • Big man looking for a powerful scooter for hilly areas in Australia ->The nami burn e but they aren’t cheap the base model is $2699 the max is $3999 I own both of them the base model gets 65-75 miles and the max 75-85 miles when riding at 18 mph with pmt tires and a 6’ 210lb rider . The e2 has the generic cells. While the max has lg I have just over 6,000 miles on the e2 and over 10,000 miles on the max both run like new they are phenomenal scooters though they may not be the best for a new rider they can be toned down to where your gramma could ride it .on max settings note so much especially the max with stock tires it’ll want to spin the tires at anything under 15 mph sure is fun to ride though if I was you and a new rider I’d go with a Segway g30p it doesn’t have suspension but the 10 inch tubeless tires help to smooth the ride somewhat it’s built like a tank and has good range 28 miles real world 40 claimed this scooter will last a good while and will allow you to develop your riding skills new riders are prone to crashes better to do it with a $600 scooter than a real expensive one your also less likely to get seriously injured on a 18 mph scooter vs a 60 mph scooter once you decide to upgrade to a faster scooter just keep the first one around as a spare do get a full face helmet and a pair of hard knuckle motorcycle gloves knee and elbow pads are a good idea especially while your learning they will save you from a bunch of road rash should you crash have fun stay safe
r/ElectricScooters • Which e-scooters are the most reliable and good quality? ->Get a Nami Klima as far as carrying scooters up stairs most people try to do it the WRONG Way using their arms there is a far better way get a 1inch wide flat nylon strap and tie it to the frame right behind the steering then tie the other end to the rear of the scooter and then place the strap over your head on the opposite shoulder from the scooter if you have the length right when you stand up straight it will lift the scooter 6-7 inches off the ground then you can place the front wheel on the first stair step up and move it to the next stair repeat until you are at the top use a knot that you pull on the end to release I take my Nami burn e a 100+ lb scooter Up two flights of stairs Everyday using this method this uses your skeleton to support the weight and your leg muscles to lift the scooter with .
r/ElectricScooters • Lightweight scooter for heavy guy? ->The burn e max is $3699 and the 72v Nami blast is $3299 on wyrdrides I have two burn e’s one has just shy of 6,500 miles the other just crossed 13,400 miles both run like new they are awesome and if you need any parts that aren’t in stock at a scooter retailer you can contact the owner Micheal Sha on Nami electric Facebook and he will ship you whatever parts you require once you send the payment for the parts I do highly recommend that you opt for the PMT Tires contact wyrdrides before you order they can install them on the scooter before it’s shipped for a added $200
r/ElectricScooters • Advice on a high end scooter ->There isn’t one. So many different scooters to fulfill the needs of the rider. For arguments sake, I’d say the Segway Max G3 and GT3 PRO are some of the most feature packed scooters out there. If I were in the market for an upgrade (mind u I really love my Burn E 2), I would get a GT3 Pro. I think it embodies everything a high powered electric scooter should have, while being stylish to boot. A close 3rd would be the Nami Klima. It’s damn near perfect (to me)
r/ElectricScooters • The Best Electric Scooter at the Moment? ->Nami scooters are the best. Get a Burn E 2
r/ElectricScooters • What do you consider S-Tier for Electric Scooters? ->Nami scooters are the best. Get a Burn E 2
r/ElectricScooters • What do you consider S-Tier for Electric Scooters? ->I saw someone mention Nami, and I completely agree. I love my Nami, and I love not having to connect an app even just to record my trip, or the miles of the scooter. You can just use the app to set the scooter up, and then never use it again. However… With my old NIU scooter, there were features that you just wouldn’t be able to use without the app. For example, the most important feature (to me) that I think blows that it requires the app. The electronic locking.. I would be able to hold the power button on the scooter for 5 seconds and it would lock the scooter so if anyone tried to move it the E-brake would engage, and it would start beeping. I used this in conjunction with a physical lock. But without your phone, you wouldn’t be able to unlock the scooter again. Some other more useless features that maybe you might care about would be scooter mileage, trip miles, or a battery percentage. Most low-end commuters don’t tell you the percentage on the screen, just bars or dots representing 10-20%. So if you want to know the specific percent, you have to use the app. I don’t know how much you care about any of those features, but it’s worth mentioning.
r/ElectricScooters • Electric scooters that don’t use apps? ->Dualtron/Teverun/Nami have mostly been using the jumper trick where it's a cable that you can physically cut to unlock the max speed. Newer teveruns switched to a pair of NFC badges to lock or unlock the top speed. Seems to be enough for regulators since it's in the whitelist of approved models for countries that have them (eg the Spanish DGT).
r/ElectricScooters • Best electric scooter for 1500€ ? ->Yamaha TW200 is what I recommend for that distance of a commute. I own a 60mph e scooter and its range exceeds 130 miles (mine has 50ah battery). That said, the big Nami Burn E can easily make the round trip but the Yamaha is much safer and more resilient in conditions other than sunny and no wind. If you live in San Diego or Santa Barbara, you might get away with it on an e scooter, but in the real world with rain a reality, a 20+ mile round trip commute is a big stretch unless conditions and road types are 100% in your favor. Good luck! https://preview.redd.it/7u9p2xwknx6f1.jpeg?width=1010&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35e0cc1d6b36081e37fa08bb88700cc0c8d707d2
r/ElectricScooters • What Scooter Should I Buy? ->Nami. Bought mine used for $2k. Could not be happier with quality and reliability. It’s so good, if I ever buy another e scooter, it will be a brand new Nami. https://preview.redd.it/hxzqc24c8qvf1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dff09bcedbedc7e47970b86e2cb34d1d3d97fe8c
r/ElectricScooters • Which electric scooter brands actually last for years and are worth buying used or new? ->Nami Burn E definitely has the range. You get what you pay for in the end. Sure you can risk buying some off brand that “claims” whatever. With the Nami you’re paying for reliability and distance (especially if you use the modes correctly based on your desired/required speed for the area). Plus, as a BONUS, you are getting performance 🔥
r/ElectricScooters • Best bang for the Buck for a Long Range Scooter. ->💯
r/ElectricScooters • Best bang for the Buck for a Long Range Scooter. ->If you wanna see what $3000 *should* be getting you, check out the Nami Burn E or Inmotion RS Lite.
r/ElectricScooters • Electric scooter suggestions ->You're going to need at minimum like 1600 watt hours to go that far, but that's cutting it pretty damn close.... 2000 would be better. There are a few options close to $1500 that have that much battery. Yume has some options, such as the Raptor. There's also the Emove Cruiser V2 single motor. For a bit more than that, the Nami Klima with the 30Ah battery option. A bit more realistically though, I would look into something like the Nami Burn E. Why not just an ebike at that point though? That is a LONG ass distance for an escooter. It's not gonna be fun.
r/ElectricScooters • Best bang for the Buck for a Long Range Scooter. ->A 3k budget leaves you with many options. The Nami Burn-E would probably be my top choice. I have an RS Lite that I scored for under $2300 and it's a beast. I weigh 265 and have gotten it up to 52mph according to the speedo, but im sure it's not totally accurate. Probably actually 45-47mph.
r/ElectricScooters • The best electric scooter for 10 miles+ ->Every brand will have their issues. Also buy some locktite blue for your display screws. They will fall out eventually
r/ElectricScooters • Circooter's Landturbo Pro dropped — worth switching from 1000W? ->Honestly I'm so glad I bought a Nami. It's probably the one truly respected brand here
r/ElectricScooters • Circooter's Landturbo Pro dropped — worth switching from 1000W? ->20 kg’s lightish imo, nothing wrong with the specs tho. nami’s really well built, zsnake’s cheaper and works. [tst scooters](https://blog-product-project.vercel.app/?q=4185874) let you check stuff in an app, set cruise, tweak things - which is handy.
r/ElectricScooters • Best electric scooter for adults (commuter e-scooter, long range, hill climbs), recommendations? ->Nami, Niu and Inmotion yes. The others? Kind of a crapshoot as to whether or not you get a good one. Segway is expensive for what it is by a decent bit imo, with tons of QC issues, vsett has seen a lot of QC issues as well and Dualtron is just behind most other brands on the tech and specs at what is, again, a really overpriced scooter for what you get. This is all my opinion however so take it with a grain of salt.
r/ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->Adjust the steering dampner before you start riding fast or else you'll get a speed wobble like I did. 😆 Almost crashed my Nami on the first day of having it. Oh and disconnect the speed limiters so you can go full speed. Here's a video of the speed limiter. ➡️ https://youtu.be/TrvkbsmFU54?si=nRrIsoYDNk-MdZmY How to change the brake pads. ⬇️ https://youtu.be/BaiMgXeb5Qs?si=wll-w-2PeQ1R2IHi I would try to only ride on the bike lane or sidewalk. The road is risky buisness and a car vs a 100 pound scooter is a no go. I normally keep my scooter on D mode which is 30mph which is plenty of speed to get around. Unless you have a long straight strip to let it rip then hell crank it up to X mode. Lol Oh and for the Cst tires they are good. Just don't burn out start moving in D mode because if you start up in X mode or C mode it will cause wear on your tires quickly and changing the tires kinda sucks but do able once you get used to it. Tire changing method I use. ⬇️ https://youtube.com/shorts/zO_RCVVzkyU?si=7sNhM_y1Yzoo3Ybs You can find brake pads and Cst tires on Amazon. And replacement bolts for keeping the tire on. These are the bolts that keep the tire on. ⬇️ Bike Wheel Axle Nut, Bicycle Hub Motor Nuts Kit Steel M14 Nuts Washer Kit with 14mm Shaft for Electric Bikes Scooters https://a.co/d/4XcVBiD The owner of Nami Michael Sha is on Facebook he normally answers questions rather quickly.
