"the big Nami Burn E can easily make the round trip but the Yamaha is much safer and more resilient in conditions other than sunny and no wind. ... in the real world with rain a reality, a 20+ mile round trip commute is a big stretch unless conditions and road types are 100% in your favor."
Nanrobot and hiboy my kids have. Id stay away from nanrobot at least their lower models. Hiboy seems ok but these are small single motor 300 or maybe 500 watt. I have had good luck with gotrax. Lower end scooters served me well over the years just tooling around with my kids. Then this year I got a gotrax gx3 which is their best one. Love it especially offroad. I beat the shit out of it and still good. Love the tall handlebars. Then I got a faster one. I got a nami burn e3 max and that's a rocket. I think brand wise. Nami. Kaabo. And teverun have good reps.
All I can say is this scooter has been the most fun in a long time. I have really pushed this thing and its been great. First cold day where I live and I'm not looking forward to storing it all winter. Its faster than my actual truck I swear. So much fun just to go get a ride outta my system. Ride it to get lunch somewhere or whatever. Imo it isnt the coolest looking scooter. I love the kaabos looks but the nami reliability drew me in. Just wanted to share a Pic. Ride safe.
Nice. Mine was just bought new from wyrd ryds in Virginia. Only 100 miles right now.
Its a new gen. I heard ot that happening. I couldn't imagine at a high speed .
Its a nami burn e3. Nami is the brand.
INMOTION RS is the go to for super scooters. It’s getting a little long in the tooth now though. It’s waiting on a “refresh” to upgrade some components like the screen and wiring harness. I just ordered the Teverun 7260R, that has some really cool features like a built in GPS module that can geofence your scooter or give you an alert if someone takes it. It’s also probably the most powerful 72v production scooter available right now and has the best battery with a 60AH pack with a high discharge rate that allows for moddability. There’s the NAMI Burn-E Max 3. NAMI is the scooter company Apollo wishes it was. Build quality and engineering is next level. Super fast, built like a tank. Everyone who has one around here loves theirs. There’s the Roadrunner RX7 which is the equivalent of a riced out Honda Civic, it has Lumilor panels that are like massive LED sheets and it comes with Italian PMT tires and upgraded brakes as well as a removable battery. It had some issues when it first came out but they appear to be working out the kinks. There’s also stuff like the Kaabo WK-GTR or the Mars XTR but I’m not super versed on them. That’s just a few off the top of my head. Obviously I’m gonna push the 7260R because it’s what I chose but hyperscooters fill a lot of niches and I’d look into it more to see what you want.
The Teverun has GPS (though not as refined as it should be), an alarm system, an app with all the information you could ever want in it, a 50% bigger battery than every other scooter on the list, it’s faster and love the look of the FSU moreso than the 7260R. I’m not fanboying for Teverun, I genuinely think the FSU at $3K is the best deal for a hyperscooter on the market right now. The Nami is a solid pick as well, they’re super reliable, look amazing, ride flawlessly but it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of other scooters but you wouldn’t be mad if you got that. Avoid the WKGTR , they’ve been plagued with electrical gremlins and a lot of revisions that have created new issues. I think something comparable would be the GSpace GTR. According to popular opinion around here, they have the best ride quality and stability compared to other hyperscooters. But apparently they’re going to be releasing an 84v version soon with tons of upgrades and features, so I’d wait for that to drop before committing to a GTR.
I would recommend the Burn E, but feature wise it’s pretty vanilla (I like that). If you like apps and security, Segway GT3 (or pro) and Teverun fighter supreme ultra, and it’s 7260r version (might be overkill) are my go recommendations. I think 30ah would be minimum for your range needs. Of course depends if you’re ripping it or not, but you’ll definitely get 20 HARD miles. I would recommend getting a 40ah battery to not worry about range for those long trips. So that leaves the burn e max, supreme ultra, and the 7260r. Honorable mention to the Kaboo wolf king GTR
Nami Burn E Viper or Nami Burn E Max Best scooter ever
Yamaha TW200 is what I recommend for that distance of a commute. I own a 60mph e scooter and its range exceeds 130 miles (mine has 50ah battery). That said, the big Nami Burn E can easily make the round trip but the Yamaha is much safer and more resilient in conditions other than sunny and no wind. If you live in San Diego or Santa Barbara, you might get away with it on an e scooter, but in the real world with rain a reality, a 20+ mile round trip commute is a big stretch unless conditions and road types are 100% in your favor. Good luck! https://preview.redd.it/7u9p2xwknx6f1.jpeg?width=1010&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35e0cc1d6b36081e37fa08bb88700cc0c8d707d2
Check out the big e scooters from Nami. I got lucky and found one second hand and it is nothing short of amazing in performance and range and I’m 6’3” 250lbs. https://preview.redd.it/33x78a2cml8f1.jpeg?width=1792&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=767c1ca342abca70ad51917e735ac7f904668da6
Nami. Bought mine used for $2k. Could not be happier with quality and reliability. It’s so good, if I ever buy another e scooter, it will be a brand new Nami. https://preview.redd.it/hxzqc24c8qvf1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dff09bcedbedc7e47970b86e2cb34d1d3d97fe8c
My Nami burn e max has 3800 miles on it with seemingly no battery deterioration or any other issues. Try getting that with a no name scooter... Just saying! https://preview.redd.it/6vmo1bgatbne1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b3a67e8cdd1afd70f5b8337f4938b23602d3e7d3
Look at Nami scooters. I have the Nami burn e max. It's built for off-road. It's expensive, around $ 3700. 72v 40ah batt. Riding hard you get 40-60 miles. Keep it under 20 mph your looking at about 80+ miles. Fast too. 60 mph. I've had mine for 3 years. Have just over 4700 miles on it. Have only changed brakes and tires. It also has the best suspension in the scooter world, with adjustable rebound dampening. Hope this helps.
The burn e max is $3699 and the 72v Nami blast is $3299 on wyrdrides I have two burn e’s one has just shy of 6,500 miles the other just crossed 13,400 miles both run like new they are awesome and if you need any parts that aren’t in stock at a scooter retailer you can contact the owner Micheal Sha on Nami electric Facebook and he will ship you whatever parts you require once you send the payment for the parts I do highly recommend that you opt for the PMT Tires contact wyrdrides before you order they can install them on the scooter before it’s shipped for a added $200
It depends on what your wanting to do a scooter can be quicker than a bike it’s acceleration is better it’s top speed can be higher though you generally will want to spend a bit more than $1800 a Nami Klima is a good option though I recommend going with the larger battery it’s $2299 the base model is $1999 there is the Nami blast which is $2999 it has a much bigger battery is a72 volt scooter and has power and acceleration for days you can go a long way on it if you go slowish 18mph you can go over 60 miles. It will climb any hill you want I have the burn e max same power and battery that I climb to the tops of mountains on I have over 16,000 miles on that one with a scooter you have to be very careful of hazards like potholes rocks etc as small wheels don’t fare well with those . E scooters are insanely fun especially when you have one that is built to be fast with a long range . The claimed range is not what. You will get you need to cut it by 1/3 minimum being a heavy rider id cut it in half so a scooter that claims 100 miles will get around 50 riding it normally less if you really push it hard .more if you take it easy . A e bike is slower but is more stable you can. Let go of the handlebars on a bike and ride along just fine a scooter this will result in you doing a faceplant if you try it a bicycle is more forgiving of hazards the large wheels will roll over most potholes and you can be a bit more relaxed while riding than you can on a scooter where you have to pay 100%attention 100% of the time I ride both bikes and scooters though the scooters are my favorite for most of the time I’m a adrenaline junkie and the scooters fill that need for me the burn e and blast are hyper class scooters ie extreme performance class the Klima is a high performance scooter though not in the hyper class . having more power than you need is always preferred as you don’t have to use it but it’s there if you need it if you have a scooter that is underpowered there is nothing you can do hills are a struggle and they are slow with scooters like the burn e and blast you can fly up hills like they aren’t even there get a full face motorcycle helmet no I’m not joking. Heavier riders need more power it’s just physics I’m around 225-230 with my backpack more battery and more power is always a good thing there’s nothing worse than not enough battery and not enough power should you opt for the blast just don’t or with any scooter for that matter put it on it’d max settings and floor it to see what it can do it’s a bad idea . I hope this was useful for you Wyrdryds has the Klima and the blast though I think they are low on stock with the larger battery Klima
The claimed range is accurate if done with a light rider typically 160lbs with no starting stopping no hills a smooth surface no wind a nice warm day and a constant speed with fully inflated tires . Obviously these conditions don’t exist in the real world so the range decreases cold temps hills starts stops accelerating rough t surface etc all decrease the range you get when buying a scooter it’s best to just 1/2 the claimed range if you want a scooter that has long range say 30 miles get one that has a claimed range of 60 miles this will allow you to ride it more normally and get the range you require my scooters get around 50 miles per charge when just riding around I can burn through a charge in far less if I’m really on the throttle if I go slow and just cruise I can get 75-80 miles my scooter isn’t cheap it’s a burn e max with a 40ah battery with 2880wh to calculate wh times voltage by ah 72x40=2,880 where a 52 volt 40ah 52x40=2,080 I hope this was helpful for you
Get a Nami Klima as far as carrying scooters up stairs most people try to do it the WRONG Way using their arms there is a far better way get a 1inch wide flat nylon strap and tie it to the frame right behind the steering then tie the other end to the rear of the scooter and then place the strap over your head on the opposite shoulder from the scooter if you have the length right when you stand up straight it will lift the scooter 6-7 inches off the ground then you can place the front wheel on the first stair step up and move it to the next stair repeat until you are at the top use a knot that you pull on the end to release I take my Nami burn e a 100+ lb scooter Up two flights of stairs Everyday using this method this uses your skeleton to support the weight and your leg muscles to lift the scooter with .
There never will be any scooters that are without any complaints there are reliable scooters I have two that have 6,000+ miles the other is comming up on 11,000 miles the other is almost 7,000 miles both run like new normal wear and tear parts like brake pads rotors tires handgrips require replacement even the most reliable cars will have some that will have issues as that is part of anything thats made by humans and built by parts built from multiple sources defects happen that’s what warranties are for . If you buy a cheap scooter don’t expect it to last as the parts and materials are cheap and low quality aluminum comes in different grades these scooters are subject to high vibration levels which will destroy low grade aluminum and result in failure of frames cheap scooters motors. Are not built well the controllers are built with cheap parts that won’t last buying a scooter that has good parts availability is important . Nami’s have good parts availability you can contact the owner through facebook Nami electric and he will ship any parts you require they are easy to work on as the wiring is very organized plug and play not the spaghetti wire mess that many scooters have it’s a large community where there are many people who will assist with any questions that may arise or in diagnosing and how to repair any thing that many come up they aren’t cheap I’ve owned many different scooters out of them all I find. That the Nami’s are the best of. The bunch
84 hz battery does nothing for your Argument in Any Ways dualtrons are good scooters but their refusal to switch to sine wave controllers until just recently isn’t a good thing I had a storm and hated it as its power with very Little control over it square wave Controllers are loud they Are jerky they beat you to death jerking around I have over 17,000 miles on one of my Nami’s virtually silent glass smooth starting out acceleration excellent ride quality and it’s super easy to change any component that could fail as everything is plug and play no rats nest of wires as is the case with many scooters .
If I was you I’d go with the Nami Klima though I do recommend going with the 30ah the name brand cells and extra range are worth the little extra it costs I have the big brother Nami burn e max 40ah with close to 17,000 miles on it . There is also the fact that you can always get parts for it even if a retailler is out of stock you Can contact Micheal Sha on facebook Nami electric and he can send you any part you may need with other scooters your at the mercy of the retailer if they are out of stock on the part you need it can be weeks or months before they get new stock with a Nami you get the part in around 4 days just read the manual before riding it and get a full faced helmet
Lmao they are dogshit, who told you they are built like tanks, my nami burn e viper/max is build like a tank yes
Riding escooters since you were a kid and how long do you think since they were made mr.cope harder. Even though mine goes 60mph lol you can still ride it normally thats like having a lambo and you are saying why would i need to go that fast, also you can lock it at what ever speed you want it, for the cops, basically you have so many settings for everything you can imagine. But i get it you are in you own personal experience bubble and have done your research lmao, yea true each person has to do their research but there are plenty reviews that are trash, nami has also some smaller escooters and they are better than all the competitors, i have ridden many escooters and none compare to nami. I have driven it in the most harsh conditions , i wasnt particullary looking out for it. It has 40k+km on odometer, segway is like iphone same shit for trash price, maybe a few adjusments and is built like shit, some things are good the charger inside the escooter thats nice but thats about it for me. All what you are saying is such bs, the bolt escooters which you can rent are built like tanks, you can throw them around jump on them crash them nothing happens, because they are made from one piece, but segway is build from how man, pieces?they are like xiaomis and nothing else they can compare to that, i get it you are from america all emotional and shit, look up some facts make real comparisons not something out of your ass, my friend crashed with segway at low speed and his pole came out, there is no quality only cash grab, also its better to buy a used escooter/hyperscooter doesnt matter which brand since parts are not that expensive you buy them on aliexpress and can change anything yourself if you have the brains for it. I have made more milage than you ever will on all of my escooters combined so i know a thing or two.
Dude switch to nami burn and 2 max you won't regret it
A 3k budget leaves you with many options. The Nami Burn-E would probably be my top choice. I have an RS Lite that I scored for under $2300 and it's a beast. I weigh 265 and have gotten it up to 52mph according to the speedo, but im sure it's not totally accurate. Probably actually 45-47mph.
