Nami Burn-E is smooth offroad
If you want a tank, get a Nami. If you want a tank with plastic cladding & a bunch of digital features, get a higher-end Segway. Both make solid scooters.
In my experience Segway and Nami scooters handle rain without an issue.
The Klima is beloved, but the Burn-e and GT2 are both much more stable and you will feel more comfortable/safer on those. Worth considering in my opinion. The heavier the scooter, generally the more stable it will feel.
Burn E or Inmotion RS Lite are the best imo. You'd be happy with either.
Love my GT2 - you will almost assuredly be happy with it. Also consider the Inmotion RS Lite or it's brethren and the Nami Burn-e.
Yes but not any better than the fighter 11 in my experience but I might get one to try 13-14" tires on it.
My nami died at 300 miles :(
Mate you haven't listed a decent brand in your entire post Have you never heard of Roadrunner, Teverun, Nami, or Maxfun? Hooga daytona? Willmason?
I have no big complaints with my Nami. I'm not thrilled with how the regen breaking functions, but that feature that can be disabled and doesn't make a huge difference.
I'm also in Seattle and my first scooter, a Segway Max G2, would not cut it. When I was commuting downtown I had to plan my routes very carefully. A hill right by my house would cause it to stop and roll backward unless I put my foot down. That was rated 1000W peak. With the NAMI I can just go right up the steepest hills downtown and keep up with car traffic. It will climb stuff so steep I can barely stand on it, and I'm 220lbs. I used to plan every route with Google Maps using bike mode, and paid close attention to the slopes. What was most frustrating is that all around, cars are driving 30-35 in 25 zones, and on a moderate grade (for instance 25th Ave from 55th St to 75th St) my scooter was limited to about 14MPH in 22MPH Sport mode. It's not safe to ride around the parked cars in the right lane, and I had people passing me in the oncoming lane. It's a very unsafe situation. Being able to maintain 25 at least keeps them behind me.
Nami scooters are the best. Get a Burn E 2
I saw someone mention Nami, and I completely agree. I love my Nami, and I love not having to connect an app even just to record my trip, or the miles of the scooter. You can just use the app to set the scooter up, and then never use it again. However… With my old NIU scooter, there were features that you just wouldn’t be able to use without the app. For example, the most important feature (to me) that I think blows that it requires the app. The electronic locking.. I would be able to hold the power button on the scooter for 5 seconds and it would lock the scooter so if anyone tried to move it the E-brake would engage, and it would start beeping. I used this in conjunction with a physical lock. But without your phone, you wouldn’t be able to unlock the scooter again. Some other more useless features that maybe you might care about would be scooter mileage, trip miles, or a battery percentage. Most low-end commuters don’t tell you the percentage on the screen, just bars or dots representing 10-20%. So if you want to know the specific percent, you have to use the app. I don’t know how much you care about any of those features, but it’s worth mentioning.
Kaabo is absolute garbage. Owned one, it was constantly breaking. Nami is much more reliable and higher quality for the same price range.
