Nami Super Stellar is $1500, dual motor with good suspension and hydraulic brakes, tubeless tires. IP55 rating good for dust and rain, just don't pressure wash it. I ride my Namis all-weather. No snow where I am, but downpours are regular. Just make sure you do proper maintenance to prevent rusting.
ElectricScooters • Electric Scooter recommendations ... ->Dunno about conUS, but I've seen some shops online selling it in Canada. It was released over a month ago, so it should be in stores pretty soon
ElectricScooters • Electric Scooter recommendations ... ->One guy from Europe, a French guy I think. https://youtu.be/HswdItMHYGw
ElectricScooters • Electric Scooter recommendations ... ->Good on you, but once u try a better scoot like a Nami Super Stellar u will never look back..
ElectricScooters • Probably the most owned E scooter... ->I have done almost 20,000km in a vsett 8 i bought three years ago, and its been an amazing scooter (i had to repair/replace things here and there of course). its 21kg and the handlebars fold in/super portable. I rode the thing in heavy rain/snow and generally beat the shit out of it but it keeps going. I just recently upgraded to a nami superstellar
ElectricScooters • I need a scooter with foldable ha... ->Problem is some people will tell you a brand is amazing and others it's the worst they've dealt with. Really you can't let someone tell you, you have to do alot of research. That being said I'm a someone and here's what I'll tell you: IMO Best of the best: Segway, Nami, Inmotion, Dualtron Don't be fooled they all still have their individual problems. This is generally speaking from my experience and what I've gathered from others. Great: VSETT, Niu, VMAX, Good: Kukirin/Kugoo, Roadrunner, Nanrobot, Aovo, Solar, Teverun, Alot of bad stuff I've heard from: Hiboy, Circooter, Apollo Missed a bunch of others but if you're in it for the long haul, please only go for the best and don't cheap out. And do a ton of research.
ElectricScooters • What are some good scooter brands... ->Nami all day. Normally there’s decent support for higher end scooters, but Nami’s support also extends to a Facebook group where even the owner of Nami sometimes checks in to help some people out. Never saw that in a scooter company. He’ll even help you order parts direct from the warehouse in China. Not cheap tho but awesome
ElectricScooters • What are some good scooter brands... ->I've owned 2 Segway scooters, and one Nami. The G30LP is still going strong years later. [P100S](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEbq8KIHjWEeTRHG8qxUqGGyHFP5Yax3s&si=lv9XryygdKBMkMAW) lasted 400 miles. Nami is at 2650 miles. Just like the day I bought it, but better with upgrades. Segway has some decent product lines, and some bad ones. Overall I don't like all the plastic they use, and the suspension is very lacking. The Burn-E2 makes all Segway scooters look/feel like toys as far as I'm concerned.
ElectricScooters • What are some good scooter brands... ->Nami, Niu and Inmotion yes. The others? Kind of a crapshoot as to whether or not you get a good one. Segway is expensive for what it is by a decent bit imo, with tons of QC issues, vsett has seen a lot of QC issues as well and Dualtron is just behind most other brands on the tech and specs at what is, again, a really overpriced scooter for what you get. This is all my opinion however so take it with a grain of salt.
ElectricScooters • Do people still buy name brands? ->
