Ninebot Max G3
Durable hill-climber; heavy with limited range.

Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
I recently got the NAVEE GT3- half love it, half ok. Range is just not as what they advertise and a bit heavy
Just feels like the battery is not that good on these.
The main difference is the voltage. The pro has 48v and the gt3 says "standard"...since they are both 48v I'd assume the pro has a different controller. The pro has much better acceleration too which is more important than top speed in many cases. With the price being close I'd go with the pro...maybe even check out the st3 from Navee.
Both of these are absolute garbage. Get him a niu, ninebot, or navee. The lowest models are around the same price roughly.
Extremely cheap and "higher quality" do not got together here...but for 2.5 miles if you spend $500 you will be all set. Avoid the parts bin temu/amazon crap. It will not last. NIU or ninebot or navee. Either one will be fine for a rather short ride. My job is 6 miles away. At one point I had a go trax and I could get there in like 18 min....i do not recommend go trax though. You best bet is one the "N" brands.
The GT3 is actually a solid choice for a teen - it's got good range and build quality without being crazy expensive. If you want to save some cash, look at the Ninebot Max G30LP (usually $200-300 cheaper) or the TurboAnt X7 Pro, both are reliable and won't make him feel like he's riding a toy compared to his friend. Honestly though, if he's riding in Canadian winter at all, I'd just get him the GT3 since it handles wet conditions better than most budget options and you don't want to cheap out and replace it in 6 months. The peer pressure thing is real at that age, and the GT3 isn't overpriced garbage like some of the stuff teens beg for.
any navee should be good. try gt3
congrats! hope you like it. i put regen on max for one pedal driving and have lights on auto.
Navee GT3. Can snag one on the low from the Navee eBay store. Suspension for a budget scooter is great
Hello! I’m currently thinking of buying the Segway Max G3 for my commutes into work. The only thing for me is the price point but I hear it’s reliable. I tried and returned the Navee GT3 as the distance isn’t what I thought it be. Should I stick with getting the max G3? Any recommendations would help! I also weigh about 220 so am on the heavier rider side for an e-scooter
