Both of these are absolute garbage. Get him a niu, ninebot, or navee. The lowest models are around the same price roughly.

r/ElectricScooters • Any scooter brands that are prone to blowing up that I should be aware of? ->Love it when people say "Chinese garbage" do you know of any scooters made in USA or in whatever country you are in? Pretty sure everything's made in China and some brands even made in the same factory...if you didn't know a lot of the brand/non branded stuff you see in stores..from tools to food are made in the same factories 😂 Rant aside, I've had good experiences with Navee and Ausom, recently I bought a non-known scooter from Aliexpress for $490, I've gps tested it at 35mph. So far so good with all my scooters.

It does feel a little wobbly to me compared to my cheapo one but I was thinking maybe because it is taller and higher off the ground? It's almost brand new so I don't think it's worn out yet. When it comes time to replace my tires do they sell you the tire? Or how do I replace them?
