I got Niu 300p for 440€
Yea get the NIU kqi300p
KQI 300P, just got it per my brothers recommendation, hes had it for a while and has had several scooters in the past. So far I am really pleased.
I find my 300p a bit too heavy for me (i am a smaller woman) but i do love it and its been with me for 1000 miles and is still kicking.
My Niu KQI3 P has been excellent so far. Would say it’s only negative takeaway for some would be the weight, but I like it a lot
I just recently purchased the NIU KQI300 P and am using it as my daily commuter, 4.5 miles both ways for work and though I do need to charge it almost daily, it’s been great. Just can’t use sport mode often. I cap the speed at 15mph.
I have a NIU KQi 300p (900W). I live in Seattle, on a hill, surrounded by hills and since I am about 192lbs, the 300p does struggle at bit. Yes, I should have bought a dual motor. I'm thinking about giving the 300p to my daughter and getting a replacement scooter. Would the Ninebot Max G3's 2,000W single motor be enough to haul me up hills or should I still look at a dual motor?
it’s hilarious that the street view caught somebody walking a bike up 83rd. The hill I live on looks a little steeper than both of those and my NIU does stop halfway up with an error code unless I kick it up the hill. It could be due to it overheating. is your 1000 W motor nominal or peak? I assume nominal?
Just flagging that weight can be an issue if you are going over 25mph as the batteries will be larger and most have pretty robust suspensions to accommodate those speeds. Bigger battery + suspension = weight. The niu scooters are great IMHO. Nothing fancy but they get you from point A-B. The KQI# air is an awesome scooter as it only weighs 26lbs, can go 20mph and has pretty good range. KQI 300p has some suspension 24mph and great range at 45lbs. Segway are seen as very reliable. The g2 (last years model) is great 22mph, good range and 53lbs. The G3 (updated model is a bit faster and about the same weight. As you add more speed and range the weight will go up considerably. Some of the recs you are getting already are for scooters that are creeping into the 75lb+ range. So flagging - if you want to transport the scooter in a car or truck consider the weight and size.
I got a NIU KQi 300p for $285, slightly used on FB marketplace. 22-25m range. But on Amazon I think they go for $700.
Based on your needs—4-mile flat commute, 245lb weight capacity, rain resistance, and a $1,000 budget—the NIU KQi 300X and Segway Max G2 stand out. The KQi 300X offers a powerful motor, excellent build quality, and IP55 water resistance, making it a solid choice. The Segway Max G2 is well-known for its durability, long range, and smooth ride, plus it has IPX5 water resistance, which is great for Seattle’s rain. Both handle heavier riders well, but the Segway Max G2 has a more minimalist design. If you prioritize power and performance, go with the KQi 300X. If you want reliability and rain resistance, the Segway Max G2 is your best bet.
RS6 ultra 2900. What I bought. Upgrading from a Nui Kqi
