What do you suggest here : navee st3 pro probably all I "need", but xt5 pro fills more of the "want" category Also open to segway or others, but navee really seems to want me to be their customer Bought a phantom a10 earlier this year and it's "okay", just not enough tourque so barely ever use it
It's $400 at Costco but I agree. It maxes out at 15mph, only goes 10mph uphill, and the charger can be finicky. I'm expecting it to be unreliable after a year or two. It's fine for a last-mile solution in the city but I don't recommend it for long distance commuting.
I use to own this scooter. It was too slow for my daily 6 miles commute. But for a smallish girl, or a teenager this would be a great beginner scooter. Honesty for that price - you are not going to find a better scooter.
Yes we have one. We did return one after it kept glitching but they were cool about it and swapped it out. Second one has no issues. Son rides it to school , can go about 15-20mph I think. Stays charged well also. It folds down for easier carrying and storage. Much Better ride than our Segway scooter from couple years ago that crapped out after two yrs and was so slow.
i have the same model and i have used it to get to work daily for the past 6 months, the max is 15mph which is very slow but obviously ok if you are fine with that, i bought it with the mindset that it would probably break down in a few months and return it but it has never broken yet. i have rode it through puddles, heavy rain, slight snow (not supposed to ride it anywhere near water), and many potholes (no suspension also sucks) and also i got it from costco for the return policy as well but overall its like 5/10 its reliable
For 150 its good to get into scooters assuming there is nothing wrong with it but I would never recommend that at full price it feels like a toy compared to other scooters.
Pretty much the same range, standard cell deviation 0.006v max difference 0.015v which for a 6 year old battery is almost like new. I have only ever drained below 20% 3 times, keep stored 60-90% and ALWAYS charge to 100% and let it finish the cell balancing. Charging to only 80% which some people do is worst for the battery actually. It's done under the assumption that having a lower SOC is easier on the battery when thats true for storage but not for actual use, since at the lower SOC the battery has to output more current to get the same performance(watts) which in turn stresses out the battery more and wears it out faster.
Guessing you are in the US? Costco Canada has Navee but not on the costco US site. You are better off buying a better scooter elsewhere then buying the Phantom just because its at costco. It's not a good scooter, I have played around with it at costco it feels cheap like a toy. Was going to say get a Ninebot Max G30 from Amazon but apparently they are not available there at the moment, you could check best buy in your area. I got my G30 from costco in May 2020 they have had them for sale on and off there.
