charros 1.0I did a tooon of research for my 10 yr old and landed on an E2 Plus ii.
I contemplated the E2 pro but opted for the plus ii for a few main reasons. Most significantly weight, tire size/type, and added suspension. I think the E2 pro would be just a bit too much for him. I also got a decent discount on the plus ii which ultimately made it a no-brainer.

The E2 Plus II might seem tempting at $249 but you'll probably regret the range limitations pretty quick The extra $170 over the E2 is definitely worth it for college reliability, trust me on that one

GabrielNYC4 0.4I’ve only owned a few Segway scooters but the cheapest one I got was the e2 plus about a year ago and it was $279, at the time. I ride it through thunder storms, puddles and snow, it has been pretty reliable.

I got the ninebot(segway) e2 plus ii. I use it to bypass the employee shuttle where I work(around a mile) It works for me, although I do wish it was a little faster, but it does not need to be. I am at the limit for weight on it though. 200lbs.
