Ninebot Max G3
Hill climbing beast, durable, but heavy with limited range.
Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
What do I do now because I’ve already gotten the e3, it said it had a (45km) range but it literally died on me after 10km
I already got the e3 and it died after 10-15km
My newly bought e3 died after 15km of usage on a full charge it was mind boggling 😭😭 I got stuck and had to call an uber back home
Hey, looking for advice on which on to buy. My Xiaomi Scooter Elite was stolen I am hesitant if I should rebuy it or try something d different. **Prices:** \- SEGWAY E3 E 360€ \- Xiaomi Scooter Elite 300€ So far what I got from reading **SEGWAY E3 E** * New brand to me, I only had Xiaomis before * Traction Control (TCS): some say it doesn't do much, some say it is useful * Dual suspension * Fancy breaking system ? * 45 Km range but arguably **a lot less** in practice (like 20ish) * 400W/800W * 18% uphill incline (only, despite having a 400w motor?) **Xiaomi Scooter Elite** * I am kinda used to it. * NO Traction Control (TCS) * Front suspension only * I consider the brakes to be passable, but not perfect, preferred the disc brakes Xiaomi scooter 4 * 45 Km range, and in practice the real range is close * 350W/700W * 20% uphill incline (up to 20% > 18% despite having a weaker motor...how??) Any opinions? any real noticeable advantages in the segway E3 E making it really better? Is the TCS and back suspension worth the extra money? Is the battery life and climbing ability really worse?
I found the **SEGWAY E3 E** on offer for 331€ on wellbots. I ordered it. Worst case, if I don't like it, I have 14 days to return it.
I got the **SEGWAY E3 E,** so far I am happy with it, it feels stable in wind, but there one bumpy road I take that I still didn't test yet. The brakes, acceleration, etc all feel a little bit different than the Xiaomi Elite, but still ok. Less space, the Elite is a bit wider, but still ok The design is soo cool. It has a dedicated space for accessories and can be linked to "find my" like airtags (didn't try that yet, tho) THE MAJOR ANNOYANCE: No battery life on screen!! and the BIGGEST ISSUE: NO real good points to lock the scooter!! the spaces in the front wheel are very small! can't fit any of the locks I have through, will have to look for a look that fits The stem is clearly not an option because thieves can remove the handle bars by unscrewing it! and in this model the diagonal bar at the bottom is part of the folding mechanism (in the elite it is not a moving part, very stable!) which makes it not a very solid choice for locking. Will have to be extra careful with this one and enable that find my. If you're worried about security, and want to easily use physical locks don't go for this scooter!
Wouldnt trust that range, but if it does have a bigger battery = it will have more longevity. If by Xiamoi 5 you mean the cheapest Elite variant, then im a user but ive only got a few hundread km on it. Its a solid block of scooter, no issues yet. The other one seems solid too since its got rear suspension (and I treat that as a safety feature), but as you mentioned, smaller battery and 3kg lighter. I think Xiamoi 5 is also the cheapest scooter in Europe from a reputable brand that has a front suspension and 120kg rider capacity, but dont quote me on that. You probably wont miss with either.
Trust me, in Ninebot you will sometimes tighten the bolts, and in other brands you will change the controllers and batteries))) For the 3rd generation of Ninebot European versions, there are boards for unlocking speeds up to 40 km/h, and after some time, free firmware will appear. If you need speed and power, take the G3, if something is lighter and more compact, then the E3. F3 and ZT3 are intermediate options.
This is essentially a copy of the xiaomi m365, but more powerful, and the price is too damn high. As for me, it's better to pay a little extra and buy a Ninebot G2 or Ninebot E3 (just the first thing that came to mind), they are not inferior in power, they have a double suspension. Well, or look for something better than the hiboy s2 pro, for that price.
Id recommend the Segway ninebot e3 or e3 pro. The ninebot has front and rear suspension. The water resistance rating is good. The redesign Segway ninebot has done with many of their scooters now with much better steering geometry. The scooter will be very stable riding at full speed. I know someone has a modified Segway ninebot g3 and its similar steering/suspension geometry and flys over 80mph without a steering damper.
I bought the eu version and it only goes 25 and no led lights :( i really want to tune it but dont know how
