I love mine, it’s had a few issues but nothing that made me want to trade it yet

The computer had to be reset a few times but it turns out it’s as simple as disconnecting the cable that’s easily accessible

Other than that I love the deck flex from the carbon fiber too and it just looks nicer, the tire did cost me over $100 to replace each tho if you are on a budget I would recommend something like the fluid mosquito instead which starts at less and has a solid tire so it will last longer

\>I'm 6'5 300lbs and just ordered the f3pro. Hopefully it's good enough. 1200w should be good for hills and the 450w should enough for normal streets. f3 pro is a single motor 1200w. You either didn't read or misread the original comment I'm responding to. And imo a single motor 1200w is not enough. None of this is to mention he's going to bottom out the suspension constantly.

Segway f3 is probably the best bang for buck

You in Canada? You can grab a f3 pro for 700$, I got it through best buy. If the deal isn't available anymore. Check Facebook marketplace. A few people probably bought them to resell. You should be able to snag one up for 700+tx. I know it's 200$ above your budget but I'd say it's worth it. It's not like you buy a scooter every other month. It's a one time thing and you'd rather have a solid product than 200$ in your pocket imo

I would take a Segway Ninebot G2 or F3Pro. Both are good commuter scooters with self healibg tires and double suspension. You can especially look out for good offers for the G2, the price dropped after the G3 came out. Tje suspension of the G2 and F3 is better adeapted for city driving than the G3 suspension from what I read

I do 20km daily on my F3 pro. It’s more about the type of road than the distance really Btw mine is a 1200w and goes 42kmh. 5600w ??? Really ?? Wtf man

I tried the F3 Pro with moderate hills (<10%), it’s quite neat, full légal speed all the way through.

Got a F3 Pro which is a step down from the G3 and i like it. BUT. If there are any steep (+10%?) hills involved, please, get a dual motor, specially if those hills turn out to be at least 3-4Km or more almost non stop. I say this because i bought my F3 Pro to do a fairly straight line of cycle road and some roads, but ended up needing it for climbing a 250m hill, twice a week, and the thing struggles alright, and i am fairly light, slightly overweight but taking care of that (69kg). The scooter does it, goes all the way, for what i know it might not even stop, although it does slow down a lot in some hills, the thing is that the motor reaches upwards of 120ºC and that doesn't seem very good to it.

Yup, kinda regretting getting a F3 Pro a week ago, i love it for the weight, the materials, etc. But i have to do around 5-6Km, twice a week, which 80% are hills, some of them between 5%-10% inclination, and she struggles, alright. Nevermind getting a very warm motor temperature as well.

> Segway F3 Thanks for the recommendation, I had seen that mentioned before on the sub, and I'd be absolutely interested, though it seems it's not being sold in Canada right now. Not sure if it's related to shipping/tariffs yet, but I could give Segway a call to find out.

Thank you again for the recommendation, I actually was able to pick up the F3 Pro for about 699 Canadian due to a 500 dollar promo from Best Buy!

G2 pro is garbage, get the regular G2. It's a little cheaper, and way better all around. If you could spend just a little more, the Segway F3 is a much much better option though

I would get the Segway F3 or F3 Pro. They are better in most ways than a Max G2, and are MUCH lighter which is good in a commuter.

he most basic, cheap scooter i am aware of with self healing is the Ninebot Max G30. And the G30/F3 are the same price rn, so get the F3 dude lol.

Segway F3. Or even better is the F3 Pro, though it's not available in the USA due to tariffs. It's better than all those options you listed. It's got pretty decent full suspension, which you frankly NEED if you have chronic back pain. And better brakes, more power, 20mph top speed, and more. Weighs 19kg, same as the ones you mentioned.

Do you mean the F3 Pro? I just checked, not available in US or Canada (tariffs). The F3 should be available in Canada. If it's not showing up, make sure you're not using Segway's Canadian site, it's outdated. [Try the US site. ](https://store.segway.com/ninebot-kickscooter-f3)Also check BestBuy and Amazon

That thing will totally rip. I bought the F3 Pro (E) because it was 5k lighter (and let's be fair, cheaper) and it's a total blast, can only imagine how much fun this one will be! Enjoy

People are super weird and condescending about kids on scooters here, so you’re not going to get much help. FWIW my 13yo has a Segway F3 and loves it.

That budget is going to be tough. I got my 12 year old the Segway F3 this spring and it’s been perfect for him. Some of his friends have the E2 Plus II and they all ride all over the city going fishing and school football games and shit together. I think Segway makes great kid scooters with very low top speeds

I might sound silly but get an segway F3 or E3 (tho F3 would be 200% better!) Everything under 400€ is most likely shit when it comes to build quality. Segway is currently a good way to go

Stay away from the G2! The G2 has some quality issues with the charging port and build quality. The G3 is a beast and it's my new main scooter. ZT3 is good for outdoor, lose terrain and that but lacks the extra battery for example. F3 is okay, but only the charging input where the battery would go is trash in my eyes. So either ZT3 or G3. Both are great scooters.

Can't help you about reviews, but I *can* tell you - from the tech specs and from user reports here - that E-series Ninebots below the E3 Pro aren't actually very good. They have weak powertrains and tiny ranges and they'll choke on any uphill; personally I'd avoid them all. The E3 Pro specifically is the only one with a half-decent powertrain; I'd imagine that's why people have more things to say about it. I *would* choose a Xiaomi 5 before any E-series, but I'd choose a Ninebot F3, cheaper F2, or even the older G30 before the Xiaomi 5.

I just got a F3 to upgrade from the E22 the F3 battery is terrible it drains so quick the E22 can keep up with it and it’s supposed to have less range.

Sounds like the currently on sale for $750 Segway F3 might be a good higher end fit for what you are looking for. You could maybe spend a few hundred less on something else that's similarly spec'd on paper. But it's probably not going to be built as well, it's probably not gonna ride as smooth, and if you want a ride with dual suspension (which you should/do btw since you can afford it) it'll likely be at least an extra 13+ lbs of inconvenience on the daily if you plan on lugging your scooter inside with you on any of these quick errands.

My son is 9 and I just bought him a Segway F3. I just limit his speed in the app to 13mph. Figured buy once cry once and let him grow into it.

Absolutely wait for the F3 lineup, it has a better front suspension and also a suspension at the back now, whereas the F2 lineup has none. EDIT: as for the pricing, it should retain the same MSRP as the F2 lineup, although there's the orange tariffs now so who knows.
