Got 2x Ninebot Max G2s. The first one I got was so good I bought a second to ride with friends. I graduated from a Ninebot F30, which was/is a great entry model. Can't recommend Max G2s enough - be patient with sales - I got the second one during a 20% discount sale on Amazon.

Best bang for your buck for first scooter, high quality build so little maintenance required - check tires regularly, clean it up. Enough power for anything except steepest hills. YouTube how to ride scooter and avoid mistakes and good luck, i went from ninebot max g2 3k km to max g3 and it feels like my old scooter was a toy.

I had the G2 and sold it for the Go. Even though the G2 is only 4 pds heavier than the Go it felt like more. The weight felt uneven and was all at the back to me. I did not like at all lifting that into the car. the Go is much better from weight feel to width it takes up. The G2 is more stable and confident inspiring because it has bigger tires and its lower to the ground.

I'm in the same situation, there is someone selling a almost brand new GO for 450/obo. I have a G2 its not that much fun just get the job done. I'm looking for more entertainment in my e scoot.

I've been using a Ninebot MAX G2 to get to/from work for the last 4 years or so - been very reliable, is RWD so you don't eat shit when its raining, charger is built-in so you only need a C5 power cable and a standard power point. Only issue I had was popping tyres, but replaced them with solid ones - makes the ride rougher, but don't have to deal with punctures anymore. Before you embark on this however, have a VERY through read of the rules so you don't become another statistic... [https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/rules/wheeled-devices/personal-mobility-devices](https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/rules/wheeled-devices/personal-mobility-devices) How fast you can go, where you can ride, and what you can buy are all governed by rules - Many people ignore them and end up dead.

r/ElectricScootersJust bought a Segway Ninebot E2 Pro, turns out that was the wrong choice

I have put over 1200 miles on the max g2, absolutely amazing scooter, just lacking a small amount in area of speed. I recommended the g30lp as it seems a step down from the g2, I have never owned or ridden a g30lp so I was assuming it was good based on the g2. Would definitely recommended g2 because of suspension and I have ridden it in heavy rain with no issue.

For 45-50km/h I would recommend a Kukurin g2 (not the pro, its in my opinion inferior to the standard G2 (800W, 48V 15Ah (0.8Ah less then the g2 pro). The g2 has better suspension, a quick fold system and the g2 pro takes a bit longer, is less complex to work on and stabler. I own a g2, so I know what I am talking about, but Im also a bit biased😂, 3500km ridden and the only problems were my fault. It would cost €450-500 new, but you can find basically new ones for €350-400 second hands. My g2 range at 3500km, 190cm 85kg, is at top speed 20-25km but easily 50+km at 25km/h. For legal scooters, Ninebot g2 max or g30 are fine options. They are 'worse' in terms of speed, battery and suspension for the same price as Kukirins, but they are legal. If you buy them in a shop, you can get warrenty (2 years often) I would avoid expensive brands, maybe look at Kukirin, Ninebot, (Xiaomi maybe but they could have worse quality). It depends on your needs, Kukirin is a good all-round choice but illegal, Ninebot is legal but imo too expensive for what you get, Xiaomi is meh
