r/ElectricScooters • I’m 14 and have a budget of $200. What electric scooter should i buy? ->I fucking love it, just waiting to buy a replacement controller cuz I shorted it out by plugging in the throttle to the wrong spot. Costs $130 🙃🙃

r/ElectricScooters • Best Electric Scooter 2024 - looking for sugestions ->Since you plan on riding in the rain, I'd consider the Teewing Mars XT 8000w (or XTR 10000w if you can afford). It's IP66 rated, which is better than ANY scooter in this class. Below IPX6, you're always taking some risk riding in wet conditions. I've heard nothing but great things about it's quality. Obviously the performance is insane, idk about the 8000 but the 10000 is quite a bit faster than the Wolf Kind GTR and WAY faster than a Nami. Battery is good size too. People have said nothing but good things about customer support from what I've seen as well! Otherwise I'd probably get the Nami Burn-E or Nami Blast.
r/ElectricScooters • Which Electric Scooter to Choose? Budget Up to €3000 (Off-Road, Power, Quick Speed Limiting) ->> I’m a bit concerned about how manageable the power would be, particularly on country roads or uneven surfaces. That's a very valid concern with that level of performance haha. You can always turn things down, and it uses an FOC controller so the throttle control is *perfect.* I believe Teewing even recommends you turn down the acceleration setting to 3 or 4 (out of 5), just so you don't burn through tires super fast or get things too hot. Speaking of which, it has a fire extinguisher built into the battery in case things get too hot. Never seen that on an escooter before! When you're working with that much power though, it's really nice to have something like that. I don't know how the ride quality is compared to a Nami, but I imagine you'd be pretty satisfied. They offer it with both street or offroad tires, the street tires will obviously have a smoother ride. But if you're really set on offroads, get those.
