The most scooter for the money that I could find was the teverun blade gt2. 5400w peak output from dualtron controllers 52mph, kke shocks, 26ah for $1800 or 35ah for 2200. The nami klima is a great option as well, but it isn't as fast, and the 30ah version isnt in stock, so I went with the teverun. Over 800 miles, and I'm super happy with the quality.
r/ElectricScooters • Best Scooter for ~2k$ ->Can't go wrong with the klima, but the extra 5 amp hours on the blade is substantial and they are the same price.
r/ElectricScooters • Best Scooter for ~2k$ ->At least if you buy a used teverun, you dont have to check to see if it has the neck that snaps off while you're riding it 🤷♂️. The namis didn't seem like a step up when I tried them out, I don't get the hype. But I guess everyone has their own preference.
r/ElectricScooters • Best Scooter for ~2k$ ->You will be best off building your own ebike, you might even be able to pull it off without your mom even knowing you have an ebike, if you can hide the battery. The only decent scooter for less than 2k that can do 50+ is the Teverun blade gt2. I spent a few hundred more on the 35ah version, but the 26ah battery is a steal for 1800. They have Samsung batteries, KKe hydraulic shocks, and controllers made by the parent company for Dualtron, pretty light at 77lbs as well. You could get a makuta 10+, but it's outdated and a downgrade from the teverun in every performance category. You could also get a nami klima, but that won't do 50. Everything else out there at that speed and price is generic parts bin crap
r/ElectricScooters • Best 50-60 mph under 2k ??? ->I live in the SF bay area, if you really want to replace a car, you need a scooter that can do 50+ mph with a lot of range. Ive been pretty happy with my 52 mph teverun blade gt2+, ive ridden it all over SF. Twin peaks, golden gate park, china town, coit tower, candlestick park, Embarcadero, ocean beach, it will do 30+ up any hill in SF.
r/ElectricScooters • Best Fast Portable Electric Scooter ->You can get my scooter, the bade gt2 with a smaller battery for 1700. Teveruns are well built, and have some nice features. Even if you dont care to go 50+ mph, its cool that the scooter can do it. Im coming up on 4000 miles on mine.
r/ElectricScooters • Bought my 1st electric scooter now I wanna move up! ->Nami scooters are decent, but there are significantly better options. My teverun gt2 is sold for only $100 more than your nami, but it is better in nearly every performance category. 18 mph faster and 25% more watts of peak power per motor. 60v system at the same amp hour rating, so 200+wh of battery capacity, and less reduction of your top speed due to voltage drop as you run the battery down. Not to mention the bigger 11in tires, I won't go back to riding 9s, less safe, slower, worse ride quality. But hey, your scooter is ten pounds lighter than mine, which I would definitely appreciate if I had to lift my scooter frequently. Namis are pretty reliable scooters if you dont count the ones with the CF stem that shatters or the ones with the brake sensor issues. Scooters are basically simplified shitty motorcycles, no chain or transmissions because of the hub motors. You could even take the mechanical brakes off, electric unicycles only have regen brakes, and they do just fine. Outside of manufacturing defects, design flaws, and impact damage from crashes, an electric scooter should easily last many thousands of miles. My scooter has 3000 so far. Nothing has needed fixing other than crash damage. But most people dont need or want a 50+ mph scooter, so what do I know. Its still a perfectly good ride, and im sure you'll have many happy miles on it. Even though its not crazy fast, I would buy a steering damper for it. Dampers prevent a variety of situations that could lead to you getting hurt, the scooter too. Do you have a full face helmet yet? I have crashed my scooter at just about your top speed twice, broke my collarbone, and fractured my pelvis. Im super thankful that I was wearing a moto helmet and leather armored jacket at the time.
r/ElectricScooters • Nami Super Stellar PSA/Review ->I have a teverun blade gt2+ 60v 35ah. Its been great for 4000 miles. Has 35-40 miles of range at 30mph.
r/ElectricScooters • Which electric scooter do you have and why? Need experiences for ~14‑mile round trip commute ->Honestly, the biggest thing is going to be the shop that you purchased from in terms of warranty support and source for parts. It’s very hard to have confidence that they’re gonna be around to still be able to provide parts at a reasonable price. Teverun seems like a solid option even if the shop you buy it from is not the best because luckily almost every part seems readily available at a good price from AliExpress. So you have options. 7620r seems pretty great although getting the later version seems better, especially if you need to deal with the steering dampener. Inmotion, I would only not recommend because I’ve seen their terrible customer support on their electric unicycle side of the business. They also seem to be discontinuing in someway the RS so I will be confident for parts. RX7 on paper seems like a great scooter for the price, but I’ve also seen pretty terrible customer support from roadrunner and I know a few different scooter shops where I live and they seem to suffer a lot from electrical gremlins. Teverun I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, and there may be some bias because they typically see the more higher end versions. But the friends that I know at shops have those as their personal ride and don’t really seem to have as many mysterious issues if that makes sense. Like with randomly dying controllers or motors with failing hall sensors. Stuff that doesn’t have a very clear physical damage component to it. Lastly, I think if you search on this sub, I think there is very recently someone who purchased that same scooter from Wilson’s, who didn’t have the best experience out of the box, but the shop did get him a replacement with an a decently reasonable time. So although it’s a crummy situation to be in at the very least, I think that’s the sort of experience you would want if you have issues. If you’re in New York, maybe you would want to consider these guys since they seem more local and I have heard decent things about them online. Although I always recommend doing your own research. https://www.speedwayridersnyc.com/shop/fighter-supreme-7260r-electric-scooter/?srsltid=AfmBOooXYrjru0kYSmHevL7m4C0PzwPrjMb61AabsevgXnvHJWmH3qRU
r/ElectricScooters • Best scooter brand for support and getting aftermarket parts. ->It depends but keep in mind that you can get 35 mph and 40 miles of range but not both at the same time. Most scooters will only get the 40 miles of real world range if you’re 125 pounds and going maybe 15 mph on flat road. But realistically speaking, your best option is probably going to be the Teverun blade gt2 you can probably get away with the regular GT two with the 26ah battery but you might want to stretch your budget to around 2400 to get the GT 2+ if you want to be absolutely sure you can get 40 mph.

r/ElectricScooters • Need recommendations ->As far as the fighter mini goes there are multiple versions [here's a comparison](https://superscoots.ca/fighter-mini-eco-plus-pro-whats-the-difference/) In your use case since you're accustomed to the gt2 which is a large scooter, unless you want to downsize, the fighter 11, blade gt 2 or fighter supreme are probably a better fit for you Going from a gt2 from one brand to a gt2 from another would be kinda funny imo
r/ElectricScooters • What do you consider S-Tier for Electric Scooters? ->Blade GT2 is the way to go
r/ElectricScooters • Best 50-60 mph under 2k ??? ->I can't stand how most reviewers will say next to nothing about the controllers / throttle feel, etc. especially because the throttle feel on most scooters is garbage with a few exceptions. I did get a chance to ride 2 different Blade GT 2's and I don't like the throttle control on them. It feels like you're picking a speed with the throttle, and the controller is deciding how much power it wants to give you. Not very predictable. On the other hand, I have an Apollo, and I've ridden a Nami Klima max. Both scooters have excellent throttle control, especially the Apollo. The Nami had a bit of deadzone on the throttle lever, but felt quite predictable after that. Both scooters can be "walked", the Apollo a little better than the Nami. That is, the Apollo, even in the highest power setting, can be made to go a walking speed with light throttle application. For comparison, the slowest I could get the blade to move was like 15 kph, except in the dedicated walk mode which is useless for actual riding. The reason it's important to me is that I deal with a lot of loose surfaces and even ice sometimes. I literally couldn't use the blade in some cases where the Apollo is second nature.
r/ElectricScooters • Teverun Blade Mini Ultra 2024 Honest Review ->Ausom fudges their numbers more than most. Teverun for example is very close to reality. Really depends on brand, but take the specs from the scooter and run it through a calculator, probably more accurate than the average manufacturer claim
r/ElectricScooters • How not to get f***ed under $600? ->Look teverun or nami if you have good budget. They have many different models to choose from. I have dualtron achilleus and what i dont like it is the suspension. Otherwise i would have recommended dualtron too. I have driven it around 3500km and had only one flat, still same tires. Brakepads i have changed. If i switch to other scooter it will be teverun.
r/ElectricScooters • Best electric scooter for adults (commuter e-scooter, long range, hill climbs), recommendations? ->If aftermarket parts and support are a priority, Teverun and Inmotion generally get better feedback than Segway for availability of spares and community support. Roadrunner has mixed reviews, like you said, but you’ll at least find lots of DIY mods/parts floating around. If you can, definitely check out that expo. Seeing what vendors stock and how easily parts are to source should help you make the call.
r/ElectricScooters • Best scooter brand for support and getting aftermarket parts. ->You have some brutal boyueda scooters, with 60v and 38ah, they are outrageous, they are not more than $1300 on Alixpress If you are looking for something not so big you have the teverun and the iscooter (teverun better brand) You can also see what Xiaomi offers if you are not interested in something so powerful or so heavy, the 5 pro Max or the Max are great, what you save in money you can add accessories or an external battery
r/ElectricScooters • electric scooter black friday 2025 deals first time buyer and what should i look for in terms of quality and performance? ->look into the wolf king series from kaabo. King gt and gtr are amazing and hit 60+ in seconds very easily. Have a decently long range too. I’d suggest Dualtron but that’s overpriced bs. (i had a bad experience on a Dualtron and from then on i do not suggest them to people). Teverun and bluetran are also pretty good. For the highways i use either my big boy standing scooter (75mph) or my big boy sit down scooter (125mph)
r/ElectricScooters • Best scooter that reaches highway speed? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
