I got one too. It’s a beast! Teverun blade mini ultra- since OP didn’t write it

The Teverun blade mini also uses them. 21700s. I think they’re decent quality, like top of the line Chinese cells.. another important factor is the BMS

Bought this today for a me to me gift for my holidays after missing the feeling of riding standing (Roadrunner V2 behind is fun too). The Blade Mini Ultra is a 2x1000w 60v27ah monster ! I kid you not the tork on this thing is a joke ! The range also .. did 37km from the battery out of the box (66%) and it was 37% after i retun. Its on the heavy side (of course with a battery that size) - 80ish lbs i would say... But man! Yah 2k$ candian well spent.

I sadly got the 2024 model i think mine is a trigger - if its a plug and play ill be change it for sure - i hate the finger trigger way to dangerous. yah the weak charger is boring but safer maybe? not sure. yah iv seen youtube about the newer model with better display and thumb throttle.... ah well.

Well be a dick all you want - 60v 27ah for smal scooter at of this quality at this price give incredible performance and range.

I love it. Things wish was a bit different: its on the heavy side at 75lbs for my 3rd floor apartement. The suspension is a bit stiff to my taste wish I could adjust it softer but i cant. Apart from that, i have a bit of maintenance to do out of the box as ususal like adjusting the galiper so the disk and pads do not rub and moving the brake handle i had a smal leakage of the fluid but nothing major. Season is at its end here - ill be storing it for winter in 2-3 weeks. I did not ride it enough do my liking eheh i bought it late in the season. Crazy range, good speed.

I’d say you’re in a bit of a tough spot. Being right under $1000 really limits your options. Getting a solid 30 to 40 mph speed is not too difficult but other things like suspension battery and breaking system begin to suffer as things that get cheap out on. I personally would never get anything with a no brand battery. It would be LG or Samsung for me if I want anything that has a hope of being reliable. The suspension might not be the best, but if it functions, it’s not a big deal. The big thing I have problems with the mechanical disc brakes. Those mechanical brakes are extremely cheaply made and are a pain and I have to adjust and keep up with as the pads were out. You have to keep tightening the cable adjustment as the pads lose material. At a minimum I would try and get something with hydraulic brakes, which is a little bit tougher without getting close to 1300 or $1500. If you can afford to wait a little bit longer and save up, this scooter seems to be kind of at a sweet spot at the moment. I actually kind of bought one recently for a family member. But that was after trying, went out for a little bit at a local group ride. It feels pretty good although I did didn’t get to test out wobbles at high speed. It really seems to be a sweet spot for having a namebrand 25 amp power battery at 60v. The motor seems good quality with tubeless tires and the hydraulic brakes seems sufficient. The frame looks well built. And it uses KKE suspension, which is supposed to be a tier above what most scooters use at least in the past year or so. Kukurin it’s supposed to be decently reliable, but nothing crazy. They are generally focused on affordability, but that can sometimes mean certain corners cut and less premium features like removable plugs for the motors and better wiring that make easier maintenance in the future. To sum it up I hate to say it because it’s so easy to tell someone else to spend more money but $1000 gets you I think a little bit too close to what you currently have in terms of performance or quality. And I think if you get something there, there’s gonna be a lot of drawbacks in terms of build quality and a long-term reliability. I really hope that helps. Even something like the blade mini ultra can be a good option, depending on where you live. Because that has hydraulic brakes and a bigger higher voltage battery for not much more money. The only downside with that one is the use of tubes in the tires, but that may be a sacrifice needed to stay at a reasonable budget. https://www.voromotors.com/products/teverun-fighter-mini-pro-electric-scooter https://www.teverunusa.com/products/blade-mini-ultra

The fighter mini pro is definitely a lot more polished. The removal plugs for the motors make maintenance a lot easier. It also has tubeless 10 inch tires, which are much more durable and less prone to flat tires than the tubes tires on the mini ultra. Honestly, these days tubeless tires is basically essential and is a dealbreaker for me. I would lead towards the fighter mini pro or the blade GT 2 if at all possible. If you’re on a strict budget, the mini ultra is fine but having to deal with flat tires is really annoying, especially if you’re not particularly mechanically inclined.

It is because you get better suspension and tubeless tires with removable plugs for the motors. Basically all that stuff that makes it a lot easier to change your own tires or fix a flat rather than having to spend 150 bucks to have a scooter shop do it for you because the other one is too difficult. It’s what I would recommend if you can afford it and I think it’s much more likely to last you a long time because the parts for it are regularly available from AliExpress or from distributors. I just hate to tell other people to spend more of their own money. If you can live with some compromises, the ultra mini pro is not terrible. It just depends how strict your budget is. Especially at your weight. I had real annoyances with a scooter very similar to the ultra mini pro when it came to flat tires. So switching over to tubeless tire tires is a godsend if you’re above 200 pounds. Nothing worse than having to get a ride or an Uber if you’re stranded miles away from home.

Honestly, the biggest thing is going to be the shop that you purchased from in terms of warranty support and source for parts. It’s very hard to have confidence that they’re gonna be around to still be able to provide parts at a reasonable price. Teverun seems like a solid option even if the shop you buy it from is not the best because luckily almost every part seems readily available at a good price from AliExpress. So you have options. 7620r seems pretty great although getting the later version seems better, especially if you need to deal with the steering dampener. Inmotion, I would only not recommend because I’ve seen their terrible customer support on their electric unicycle side of the business. They also seem to be discontinuing in someway the RS so I will be confident for parts. RX7 on paper seems like a great scooter for the price, but I’ve also seen pretty terrible customer support from roadrunner and I know a few different scooter shops where I live and they seem to suffer a lot from electrical gremlins. Teverun I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, and there may be some bias because they typically see the more higher end versions. But the friends that I know at shops have those as their personal ride and don’t really seem to have as many mysterious issues if that makes sense. Like with randomly dying controllers or motors with failing hall sensors. Stuff that doesn’t have a very clear physical damage component to it. Lastly, I think if you search on this sub, I think there is very recently someone who purchased that same scooter from Wilson’s, who didn’t have the best experience out of the box, but the shop did get him a replacement with an a decently reasonable time. So although it’s a crummy situation to be in at the very least, I think that’s the sort of experience you would want if you have issues. If you’re in New York, maybe you would want to consider these guys since they seem more local and I have heard decent things about them online. Although I always recommend doing your own research. https://www.speedwayridersnyc.com/shop/fighter-supreme-7260r-electric-scooter/?srsltid=AfmBOooXYrjru0kYSmHevL7m4C0PzwPrjMb61AabsevgXnvHJWmH3qRU

Generally, I prefer Teverun and that one is a decent option. I think the only thing holding it back is that it does use tubes which means it could be somewhat annoying to do a tire or tube change. The motor cable also doesn’t have a quick disconnect so it’s very similar to a Vsett 10+ when you want to do anything with the motors, which can be kind of frustrating. Although I don’t like the look of the teewing. It sucks cause $1000 is a really bad price point for a scooter. I hate to tell people to spend more money but around the $1100 mark you’re making a lot of compromises with build quality or quality of life improvements like quick disconnects for the motors.

How much is that? Does look pretty cool and I do like that. It has the quick release plugs for the motors. Only thing I’m not a fan of is those folding latches with the circular latch. I’m just such a big fan of the folding latch that’s used by a Teverun

Get the Bade mini ultra its $1200 its 60v 27ah 2x1000w 43mph top speed 50 mile range not at 43mph obviously the blade mini ultra and my teverun fighter mini pro were the 2 top under $2k scooters of 2026 the blade ultra has the same body an the fighter mini pro only difference is the color mini pro is carbon fiber look. The ultra is bkack. I am 215lbs and before I did the upgrades on mine it did the full top speed of 41mph on the mini pro, the ultra does 43mph. It also has a smart BMS you can see the voltage and temp of every cell also monitor balancing it has an app with full tunning settings you can set up 1-3 speeds with options 1)power % 0-100 2)regen 1-5 3) front wheel take off 1-5 4)R take off 1-5 5) front amps 20-60 6)rear amps 20-60. Plus simulated ABS and traction control. This was my first expensive scooter mine was like $1900 and have had 3-4 aliexpress $600-900 scooters and teverun is night and day above them in build and ride quality its like driving a 72 Volkswagen bug and getting in a 2026 corvette not just speed the way it feels and rides it feels solid your not worrying about if its going to fold up on you at 30mph lol. So if you can spend 1200 look for the Teverun Blade mini ultra its usult on sale somewhere try willsons e bikes & e scooters they took care of me and are great with aftercare. Here's a Pic of mine the color is the only visual difference its black the ultra is 2mph faster lol. The ultra has the RGB lighting too with the trick stuff put the lights on auto plug in the charger and you can watch the led go up the stem and down the body according to the percentage while charging so it turns the stem into a battery display. And also flashes the lights to the beats from music on your phone. So many cool features in such a tight riding top quality scooters. I have almost $3k into mine and plan on keeping it. https://preview.redd.it/hcpaloxhlnpg1.jpeg?width=1848&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe52d34a99d7b5af3dc9cc6cffeaa9572fa38855

They completely changed the whole internals on all the 2025 even know the Blade mini's dont use the IVCU they upgraded the harness and controllers to the same V5 ones the fighter mini's use. Thats why the fighter mini pro and blade mini ultra were the 2025 under $2k scooter of the year on most of the lists. Infact i think the blade mini ultra edged out the figher mini pro due to its lower price

Get a scooter it really depends on your budget you can start with like a M4 Pro S+ under $500 on aliexpress if you take care of it and do the maintenance you can get a couple years out of it i got my 14 year old a kukrin G2 Master for right around $1000 its definitely a step up in quality. I had quite a few aliexpress scooters all under $1000 over the years. I finally invested a little more and picked up a Teverun fighter mini pro its a $2k scooter but much better quality. Its like the difference between a Kia and a Cadillac. On top of that even the batteries in these generally last at least 4 years before a replacement is needed. Don't listen to people about seated scooters they all say get a bike i am a disabled vet and have to ride seated. Bikes are heavier batteries don't get close to the range as a scooter as most bike batteries are under 20ah because you pedal too. If you don't want to spend 2k there's also similar ones like the teverun blade mini ultra is exactly the same scooter without built in 4G GPS and a few little things there on sale for black Friday like $1200 way better quality then kukrin joyer arwibon I have pretty much had them all lol https://preview.redd.it/g8bqfxwd8a3g1.jpeg?width=2880&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96614a9358fc218104916a9ea7784cd1802a21a4 The top left is an emanba x6 pro 48v 2400w $600 aliexpress top right is arwibon gt08 60v $600 aliexpress bottom left 2025 carbon fiber Teverun fighter mini pro. They all have seats available. I travel a lot on the train and bus the fighter pro and the blade mini ultra both weigh around 85lbs great for travel. The teverun comes with nfc key fobs a red and green one so till your son is old enough for a little more speed and power if you use the red key it will only do 20mph so you just give him the red key. Once he has more experience you give him the green unlock key and it will hit 43mph on a full battery and 41mph the rest of the time. Unfortunately the cheaper ones you can lock them down to 20mph but any kid with Google can figure out the button combo to turn it off. No button Combo on Teveruns you physically need the nfc ard

Nice great choice for a first its top quality easy to upgrade and work on. I waisted a lot of money buying cheaper scooters should have gone with the teverun from the start. What's nice is most of the parts fit from across models so there's a ton of stuff you can do. But first get a decent full face helmet and a good pair of motocross gloves. And take your time till your used to it. https://preview.redd.it/h5ss9nnj8v5g1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e20af1e7f1494d0eddc3847de5902f616ede9aae I probably have spent $5k buying and modding cheaper scooters should have gone this route to begin with. Mine is a fighter mini pro soon to have the Blade GT2 motors and controllers installed pushing it to 53mph

My first scooter i had a no suspension isinwheels had seen a lot of scooters around and wanted one. Two weeks later going down a hill hit a patch of leaves that was covering a 5 or 6 inch deep pot hole sending flying over the handlbars like superman at like 25mph sucked lol. I sold that a few weeks later and picked up something with a decent suspension. The non visible shocks are honestly usually just a block of rubber wrapped around a bolt pretty much usless dont even like the ones dualtron uses. I dont know about the suspension on the Apollo but they are really excellent quality scooters. When I got my latest I was trying to decide between the 60v phantom I think it was and my Teverun it was neck and neck willsons bikes just had better deals on the teveruns then the Apollo's. You should check there site out best aftersales service I ever got from a scooter company. The sell Apollo that would be my choice Apollo has some pretty cool tech that only they use. https://preview.redd.it/4vwtagj1p6jg1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=142387ccee38c2f5f8d972e34becc339a4d2efdf Love my scooter dont know your budget but they have the blade Q and ultra for really good deals too. The KKE adjustable damping shocks make all the difference in the world had air shocks on my last build these are twice as good at 210lbs no bottoming not even close

I own the 60V 25Ah Fighter Mini Pro (late 2024 with the Bosch engines) and a relative of mine has a Blade mini pro 2025 on which he installed hydraulic brakes (he did go with the pro for the lighter weight). I'd say it depends on pricing, mostly ? With the Fighter Mini you definitely get a more polished device, whether you consider the better water resistance (IPX6 vs IPX4), better suspension system, Bosch engines, more in-app customization (each of the 3 programmable speed profiles can be fully customized on the fighter mini vs the blade mini which relies a lot on global/hardcoded values), and tubeless tires. But the Blade Mini Ultra definitely packs a lot of value if you can pick it up at the right price and it's not slouch. And the remote keyfob (exclusive to this series so far) is a hilarious way of skirting police checks if you're in the EU.

I believe the mantis has no name hydraulic shocks. All hydraulic shocks are not equal, and the ride on the kke’s is going to feel much more plush. For me, I would really want tubeless, it’s just better all around. Just a question, but where would you be riding that you feel the knobby tires would be better? Steet vs knobby tires aside, I don’t think it should be a deal breaker between the two. Tires are consumable items, you will be changing them in the future either way. The weight would be the biggest factor here, and honestly I would take the blade mini instead if I was looking for something lighter. I am not sure how big of a person you are, but unless you have existing medical issues, picking up 70 lbs to put into a car isn’t a big deal. Picking it up and carrying it for an extended period is different, but usually you would just keep it unfolded and walk it until you needed to fold it and put it away at your destination, if you have to fold it. If you are set on it being lighter I would get the 60v blade mini. 18ah at 48v is a joke and you will always have range anxiety. If you are looking for a proper big boy scooter in a small form factor with all the features it’s the fighter mini pro, if your prioritizing portability over features/weight/distance/speed, it’s the blade mini ultra.

Yes the blade only has spring suspension. It has very minor adjustments, you can only change the preload on the spring collar. These are the sacrifices they make to keep weight and cost lower. What is your weight and height? If you are a little on the heavier side this is definitely something to consider.

It's teverun blade mini [ultra.It](http://ultra.It) cost me around $1130.Anything else?

43mph, 62miles...I'm absolutely loving this! I mostly ride it to work and for fun on nice day. It's been great! It's got enough power, the range is good, and since I don't need to charge it much, it save me a lot of trouble.

It rides very smoothly and the brakes are highly responsive. You can check out the review videos ou Youtube. I think the blade mini ultra is quite impressive.
