Honestly, the biggest thing is going to be the shop that you purchased from in terms of warranty support and source for parts. It’s very hard to have confidence that they’re gonna be around to still be able to provide parts at a reasonable price. Teverun seems like a solid option even if the shop you buy it from is not the best because luckily almost every part seems readily available at a good price from AliExpress. So you have options. 7620r seems pretty great although getting the later version seems better, especially if you need to deal with the steering dampener. Inmotion, I would only not recommend because I’ve seen their terrible customer support on their electric unicycle side of the business. They also seem to be discontinuing in someway the RS so I will be confident for parts. RX7 on paper seems like a great scooter for the price, but I’ve also seen pretty terrible customer support from roadrunner and I know a few different scooter shops where I live and they seem to suffer a lot from electrical gremlins. Teverun I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, and there may be some bias because they typically see the more higher end versions. But the friends that I know at shops have those as their personal ride and don’t really seem to have as many mysterious issues if that makes sense. Like with randomly dying controllers or motors with failing hall sensors. Stuff that doesn’t have a very clear physical damage component to it. Lastly, I think if you search on this sub, I think there is very recently someone who purchased that same scooter from Wilson’s, who didn’t have the best experience out of the box, but the shop did get him a replacement with an a decently reasonable time. So although it’s a crummy situation to be in at the very least, I think that’s the sort of experience you would want if you have issues. If you’re in New York, maybe you would want to consider these guys since they seem more local and I have heard decent things about them online. Although I always recommend doing your own research. https://www.speedwayridersnyc.com/shop/fighter-supreme-7260r-electric-scooter/?srsltid=AfmBOooXYrjru0kYSmHevL7m4C0PzwPrjMb61AabsevgXnvHJWmH3qRU

Generally, I prefer Teverun and that one is a decent option. I think the only thing holding it back is that it does use tubes which means it could be somewhat annoying to do a tire or tube change. The motor cable also doesn’t have a quick disconnect so it’s very similar to a Vsett 10+ when you want to do anything with the motors, which can be kind of frustrating. Although I don’t like the look of the teewing. It sucks cause $1000 is a really bad price point for a scooter. I hate to tell people to spend more money but around the $1100 mark you’re making a lot of compromises with build quality or quality of life improvements like quick disconnects for the motors.

How much is that? Does look pretty cool and I do like that. It has the quick release plugs for the motors. Only thing I’m not a fan of is those folding latches with the circular latch. I’m just such a big fan of the folding latch that’s used by a Teverun

If support and aftermarket parts are a priority, teverun and in motion are definitely better bets than Segway way more community backing, easier to source tires brakes throttles. Teverun 7260R is solid, In motion RS has the best reliability track record. Roadrunner is fun but not as mature in parts availability.

I think nowadays best bang for your buck is a hiley. They have several models all great options buddy. Get a steering damper if ur going to go over 35mph at any point or otherwise There's a lot of history and thought process behind the evolving scooter market to arrive at today's best options, and honestly most of the best scooters will just cost an unreasonable amount of money more than a hiley for not much noticeable difference. But I'll tell u straight 250lbs and hills? U want at least dual motor 1kw each with dual suspension, which u might end up beefing up for stiffer versions yourself. Youll probably get 1500lb shocks from the manufacturer and may find that's suitable for you But if you're going all out and potentially want a seat kit then you could check out willmason, hooga Daytona, 7260r, roadrunner, nami, or something similar from a reputable manufacturer Im not the kind of mainstream guy to advise segway. I dont like their designs, for very practical reasons, the least of which is specs, in example: the front fender on their 50mph model i dont think has room for knobbier tires, so you're kind of limited. Nor do I see a steering damper on that model, which is frankly the biggest deal breaker since its a safety hazard at that point. As for their zt3 model its single motor, and having 1500miles on an emove cruiser with similar power specs I can tell you at 250lbs you'll never hit their advertised speed, especially uphill and on a chilly day. You'll be flooring it for about 16mph. Segway has never been nor are they now a top pioneer in the escooter industry. I suggest more! Goodluck !

Their escooters are horrible, for every reason, as with any base tier scooter. Base tier models are involved in the majority of escooter accidents. These statistics are miaapplied by certain country's legislators under the guise of safety to regulate the population to strictly the very same base tier models. It's counterintuitive and oppressive. Here they've simply thrown the word McLaren onto a base tier model and suggested it's worth more than $150, when it isn't. Reasons why these scooters aren't worth more than $150: 1. Puny handlebars for least possible steering leverage 2. No suspension so your battery and knees feel every bump = fire hazard and health hazard 3. 15mph max speed is simply to market towards their UK, law-abiding citizenry- hardly as fast as a bike, and with 900watt peak power that's simply embarrassingly slow- but with no suspension you wouldn't even safely go over 10mph. 4. Only 1 brake lever for no immediate stopping power in the event of brake failure 5. 36v is quite low voltage, the battery sag under load by 50% charge will be immense. 6. 12ah battery capacity means 36v x 12ah = 430wh. So juicing the throttle will last for 430watt ÷ 950 = less than .5, so less than half an hour. At 15mph that's a total theoretical real world range of at most 7.5miles, which is more likely to be 5miles and then you're crawling at 5mph, and that's with no inclines, wind, or chilly temps, and moderate rider weight. 7. Traditional riding stance is to rock your body weight when accelerating vs braking, to safely mitigate and offset your higher center of gravity. They've disallowed for this with their design, showing how little they actually ride scooters themselves. Especially crucial for hard braking to prevent less body weight on the steering column. All I can see is that they don't know much about escooters. 8. Front drum brake isn't ideal. Disc brakes are more easily serviced, inspected, and in my opinion look better. The only thing they did right was use tubeless tires. Everything else is awful, simply the very least they could have produced for a market which is way ahead of their current offerings. It's so cringe. These scooters are a good example of good marketing geared towards selling complete trash, with a totally fabricated battery range listed on their page. I wouldnt believe anything they have to say based on their math skills alone.

It's the polar opposite of your new 7260r. Me personally id be hard pressed between the hooga daytona and the 7260r. I like hooga daytona's controller on the stem, the design a bit better. I hear its super stable. But with 5kw less peak power is pretty drastic. Luckily for me I'm happy with what I have so I don't need any upgrades, but I'm sure your 7260r will keep you happy for a long time. Have you checked out maxfun, if you're in the market for something smaller and impressive?

Mate you haven't listed a decent brand in your entire post Have you never heard of Roadrunner, Teverun, Nami, or Maxfun? Hooga daytona? Willmason?

X Ltd for sure! These other models are just trying to be anything like it but aren’t even close. Teverun is way better than Emove. But that scooter is tough to work on too. Wire harness has high failure rate on Teverun and is no fun to swap. 7260r just doesn’t ride right in my opinion and I’d be careful with the flat pack. Those cells aren’t as tried and true as traditional.

They don't ride it at 70mph for 45 miles. It's a city loop that they go up to reasonable speeds for. So for OP's use case, realistic range going to be same as ESG's test, 45 miles. Fortunately that's exactly the range OP requested.

If weight is not an Issue op id take u/suckemoff advice my scooter is 220lbs but has stupendous range other people with my scooter said they got 110 miles of range on it, if weight is an issue the teverun fighter supreme ultra or 7260r are your next best bet, hooga Daytona as well but less range than the both.
