Mine is a Blade GT+II in a fighter mini pro package. Got the FMP new loved it just was under powered so I put new blade GTII motors and controllers and swapped the display for the fighter 11. So now it looks like a fighter mini pro but rides like a Blade GTII its actually like 10lbs light. Let's hear it for the V5 Teveruns what an improvement and definitely price wise in the top scooter brands made today https://preview.redd.it/ip5f2xifklrg1.jpeg?width=1848&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5f15ab8ea2f7882f3c25ab0f835968e7f61d64e6
Nice great choice for a first its top quality easy to upgrade and work on. I waisted a lot of money buying cheaper scooters should have gone with the teverun from the start. What's nice is most of the parts fit from across models so there's a ton of stuff you can do. But first get a decent full face helmet and a good pair of motocross gloves. And take your time till your used to it. https://preview.redd.it/h5ss9nnj8v5g1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e20af1e7f1494d0eddc3847de5902f616ede9aae I probably have spent $5k buying and modding cheaper scooters should have gone this route to begin with. Mine is a fighter mini pro soon to have the Blade GT2 motors and controllers installed pushing it to 53mph
My first scooter i had a no suspension isinwheels had seen a lot of scooters around and wanted one. Two weeks later going down a hill hit a patch of leaves that was covering a 5 or 6 inch deep pot hole sending flying over the handlbars like superman at like 25mph sucked lol. I sold that a few weeks later and picked up something with a decent suspension. The non visible shocks are honestly usually just a block of rubber wrapped around a bolt pretty much usless dont even like the ones dualtron uses. I dont know about the suspension on the Apollo but they are really excellent quality scooters. When I got my latest I was trying to decide between the 60v phantom I think it was and my Teverun it was neck and neck willsons bikes just had better deals on the teveruns then the Apollo's. You should check there site out best aftersales service I ever got from a scooter company. The sell Apollo that would be my choice Apollo has some pretty cool tech that only they use. https://preview.redd.it/4vwtagj1p6jg1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=142387ccee38c2f5f8d972e34becc339a4d2efdf Love my scooter dont know your budget but they have the blade Q and ultra for really good deals too. The KKE adjustable damping shocks make all the difference in the world had air shocks on my last build these are twice as good at 210lbs no bottoming not even close
I wouldnt want a second hand hyper scooter, have you seen how dumb some people are with their scooters? Who knows if they crashed the thing and theres an invisible hairline crack in the frame, you hit a bump at speed and its all over. Or they abused the battery, or stripped half the bolts. I had to tell a guy on reddit that his tires were REPLACEABLE, he was gonna throw the scooter away because the tire was worn out. The teverun fighter supreme has a 60ah battery when most of these are 40ah or less. It has a ton of quality of life features as well, and I believe it is higher performance than the GTR, but you would have to double check the power figures. To be honest, the power on a hyperscooter is one of the least critical features to think about, they will all be insanely fast.
You can get my scooter, the bade gt2 with a smaller battery for 1700. Teveruns are well built, and have some nice features. Even if you dont care to go 50+ mph, its cool that the scooter can do it. Im coming up on 4000 miles on mine.
I like the inmotion RS Jet and Midnight when I test drove them. I feel like the Apollo had a better durability. I should have probably spent more time on them. Me and the misses went with Teverun Mini Pros(my 4th choice). We wanted a great scooter at lower speeds, hill climber, and light. The Teverun Fighter Supreme was an amazing tank. It was too heavy for putting in the truck without a ramp. The Daytona would have been an awesome off-road scooter. Another tank with all kinds of bells and whistles. I have a Segway, mini-motors, and a Inokim. So test drive, test drive, test drive.
I'm biased towards Teverun partly cause Superscoots is very good about their warranty. But I live in Canada where they're based out of. If you're in the US idk if there's a better place
Mate you haven't listed a decent brand in your entire post Have you never heard of Roadrunner, Teverun, Nami, or Maxfun? Hooga daytona? Willmason?
I replaced 90% of my car with my G3. It’s light enough to go on public transit and at 28 mph I have made it to work running late several times. If you are seriously thinking about replacing your car the G3 would be a good option. You can also look into Teverun, Kaabo or Dualtron etc but those are heavy and more expensive
