The FSU really is a beast for the money, that battery capacity alone makes it worth considering. Just keep in mind the app can be a bit janky sometimes but nothing deal-breaking If you're set on that dual stem feel though, maybe wait for that new GSpace version like they mentioned - sounds like it could be the sweet spot between reliability and features
The range on the wolf king is nearly half that of a fighter supreme ultra. 72v 35ah vs 72v 60ah. And the fighter supreme is faster too.
I wouldnt want a second hand hyper scooter, have you seen how dumb some people are with their scooters? Who knows if they crashed the thing and theres an invisible hairline crack in the frame, you hit a bump at speed and its all over. Or they abused the battery, or stripped half the bolts. I had to tell a guy on reddit that his tires were REPLACEABLE, he was gonna throw the scooter away because the tire was worn out. The teverun fighter supreme has a 60ah battery when most of these are 40ah or less. It has a ton of quality of life features as well, and I believe it is higher performance than the GTR, but you would have to double check the power figures. To be honest, the power on a hyperscooter is one of the least critical features to think about, they will all be insanely fast.
You can get my scooter, the bade gt2 with a smaller battery for 1700. Teveruns are well built, and have some nice features. Even if you dont care to go 50+ mph, its cool that the scooter can do it. Im coming up on 4000 miles on mine.
Brand in general, I’d go with Segway and Nami. With Segway being the de facto champ, but I like Nami because of how easily I can order parts from either Ali express, or Facebook. Tech wise Segway got it. I’d give like 4 scooters a 10/10; Nami Klima (burn e is awesome but I think the Klima encompasses what I think the ideal fast scooter should be, without being as enormous as its big brother) Segway GT3 pro. I mean other than maybe a bigger battery, that scooter has all the bells and whistles for the average person Teverun Fighter supreme ultra (not the 7260r). Fat ass battery in a 11 inch scooter. Doesn’t get better than that. I’m sure if this model has it, but some have their own security system built in (key fob alarm) not sure if the wheels lock up like with the GT3 pro. Segway max G2 (maybe the G3 but time will tell) that scooter is a tank, nuff said. At the end of the day, the more mechanically inclined you are, the less stuff like ratings matter. As long as it has parts available, and a relatively easy to work with system, you’ll be golden.
I would recommend the Burn E, but feature wise it’s pretty vanilla (I like that). If you like apps and security, Segway GT3 (or pro) and Teverun fighter supreme ultra, and it’s 7260r version (might be overkill) are my go recommendations. I think 30ah would be minimum for your range needs. Of course depends if you’re ripping it or not, but you’ll definitely get 20 HARD miles. I would recommend getting a 40ah battery to not worry about range for those long trips. So that leaves the burn e max, supreme ultra, and the 7260r. Honorable mention to the Kaboo wolf king GTR
If weight is not an Issue op id take u/suckemoff advice my scooter is 220lbs but has stupendous range other people with my scooter said they got 110 miles of range on it, if weight is an issue the teverun fighter supreme ultra or 7260r are your next best bet, hooga Daytona as well but less range than the both.
You could get a Teverun Fighter Supreme Ultra for $2900 via Rydology right now 😈
I love my Teverun, I would never buy a Dualtron. I would never buy a scooter with squarewave controllers.
Play the love of everything stay the hell away from used kaabo scooters. Some of their entry level options like the mantis King were not too bad. But the wolf, King GT and that level were freaking awful. The folding mechanism is ass. And they are a nightmare of electrical gremlins and the warranty support is awful. There’s a reason they were dropped by distributors in North America. So many warranty problems that they would ignore and refuse to honor by sending parts. You’re honestly pretty close to being able to get a Teverun fighter supreme ultra. But unless you really need the 60 amp power battery you would be fine with something like the fighter 11+. Or a more affordable option with a similar top speed would be the blade GT 2. You could get the blade GT2+ if you want the 35ah battery which would be closer to your budget of $2500. Very solidly built. And my favorite thing is that typically the customer support from the distributors or from the brand itself are pretty good. Fairly easy to get parts if you have an issue for some reason.
Honestly, the biggest thing is going to be the shop that you purchased from in terms of warranty support and source for parts. It’s very hard to have confidence that they’re gonna be around to still be able to provide parts at a reasonable price. Teverun seems like a solid option even if the shop you buy it from is not the best because luckily almost every part seems readily available at a good price from AliExpress. So you have options. 7620r seems pretty great although getting the later version seems better, especially if you need to deal with the steering dampener. Inmotion, I would only not recommend because I’ve seen their terrible customer support on their electric unicycle side of the business. They also seem to be discontinuing in someway the RS so I will be confident for parts. RX7 on paper seems like a great scooter for the price, but I’ve also seen pretty terrible customer support from roadrunner and I know a few different scooter shops where I live and they seem to suffer a lot from electrical gremlins. Teverun I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, and there may be some bias because they typically see the more higher end versions. But the friends that I know at shops have those as their personal ride and don’t really seem to have as many mysterious issues if that makes sense. Like with randomly dying controllers or motors with failing hall sensors. Stuff that doesn’t have a very clear physical damage component to it. Lastly, I think if you search on this sub, I think there is very recently someone who purchased that same scooter from Wilson’s, who didn’t have the best experience out of the box, but the shop did get him a replacement with an a decently reasonable time. So although it’s a crummy situation to be in at the very least, I think that’s the sort of experience you would want if you have issues. If you’re in New York, maybe you would want to consider these guys since they seem more local and I have heard decent things about them online. Although I always recommend doing your own research. https://www.speedwayridersnyc.com/shop/fighter-supreme-7260r-electric-scooter/?srsltid=AfmBOooXYrjru0kYSmHevL7m4C0PzwPrjMb61AabsevgXnvHJWmH3qRU
Generally, I prefer Teverun and that one is a decent option. I think the only thing holding it back is that it does use tubes which means it could be somewhat annoying to do a tire or tube change. The motor cable also doesn’t have a quick disconnect so it’s very similar to a Vsett 10+ when you want to do anything with the motors, which can be kind of frustrating. Although I don’t like the look of the teewing. It sucks cause $1000 is a really bad price point for a scooter. I hate to tell people to spend more money but around the $1100 mark you’re making a lot of compromises with build quality or quality of life improvements like quick disconnects for the motors.
How much is that? Does look pretty cool and I do like that. It has the quick release plugs for the motors. Only thing I’m not a fan of is those folding latches with the circular latch. I’m just such a big fan of the folding latch that’s used by a Teverun
I have a 2024 Blade GT+ II & a Fighter Supreme Ultra V5.
Other than a wheel bearing that was damaged during shipping and a frozen dampener that I blew, it's been about 6,500 problem-free miles.
Get something like the Fighter Supreme Ultra and 2x 10A chargers and you can get 70-90 miles conservatively and be back to 100% in 3 hours. Removable batteries are super gimmicky and the batteries themselves are way overpriced, but some options would be the Wolf King GTR or Teewing Z4 Pro. You’d get good mileage out of these and could carry around a spare but honestly, no one actually carries 2 batteries around. If you want good range have it built into your scooter. It’s a lot easier to carry around a charger than a 50 pound battery. If you really want a range beast you can get something like the [FLJ K13](https://flj-scooter.com/products/flj-k13-13inch-72v-12000w-electric-scooter?srsltid=AfmBOoqtjOfE7qp7Ew6cTBOC1dld6RcDf09yQ25VfZuYjf1NiG1TYWH2) that has a 100AH battery that can get theoretically close to 200 miles but these are prohibitively heavy. Ask u/Inevitable_Cap_9373 as he has something similar with a Yisuntrek R8 with a 100AH battery.
The Teverun has GPS (though not as refined as it should be), an alarm system, an app with all the information you could ever want in it, a 50% bigger battery than every other scooter on the list, it’s faster and love the look of the FSU moreso than the 7260R. I’m not fanboying for Teverun, I genuinely think the FSU at $3K is the best deal for a hyperscooter on the market right now. The Nami is a solid pick as well, they’re super reliable, look amazing, ride flawlessly but it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of other scooters but you wouldn’t be mad if you got that. Avoid the WKGTR , they’ve been plagued with electrical gremlins and a lot of revisions that have created new issues. I think something comparable would be the GSpace GTR. According to popular opinion around here, they have the best ride quality and stability compared to other hyperscooters. But apparently they’re going to be releasing an 84v version soon with tons of upgrades and features, so I’d wait for that to drop before committing to a GTR.
Get the Teverun, Teewing isn’t a scooter manufacturer in the slightest sense of the word. They just rebrand any crap they can slap their name one. The Teewing GT4 is the same exact scooter as the [Kukirin G4](http://www.kugooscooterusa.com/products/kukirin-g4-electric-scooter) and the [X5 is the same thing](https://www.yumescooter.com/collections/electric-scooters/products/y11-electric-scooter-50mph-6000w), they’re all made by manufacturers like Titan and Unicool. They’re a middleman posing as a scooter manufacturer and you think since they’re not actually building anything they would have do everything else well? They can’t even do that right, there’s a ton of people that got ghosted by them after their scooter shit the bed. Teverun actually has R&D and constantly releases new iterations and models. Everytime I’ve reached out to them I got an immediate response. They care about their end products and brand, that’s something Teewing is incapable of as a reseller.
I like the inmotion RS Jet and Midnight when I test drove them. I feel like the Apollo had a better durability. I should have probably spent more time on them. Me and the misses went with Teverun Mini Pros(my 4th choice). We wanted a great scooter at lower speeds, hill climber, and light. The Teverun Fighter Supreme was an amazing tank. It was too heavy for putting in the truck without a ramp. The Daytona would have been an awesome off-road scooter. Another tank with all kinds of bells and whistles. I have a Segway, mini-motors, and a Inokim. So test drive, test drive, test drive.
Teverun for their 72v 60Ah blade batterie pack. The rest of the scooter is on par with other top brands, but the battery is something else! The firmware is where they could improve. It works... but could use some refinement. The regen brakes should be more customizable. I would like to be able to set them to be enabled as soon as the brake light turn on and be able to adjust the brake rate relative to the speed. Dualtron regen brakes, despite not being adjustable, have a much better feel (and more previsible) feel.
