How much do you weigh? I loved a mosquito / uscooter gt sport for living near downtown. Make sure you get a high ip rating for winter and rinse all salt off immediately. Now I have a Klima and it is awesome for Chicago but expensive and not for beginners. I can get from south loop to Lincoln Park in 15 minutes

if you want it to be zippy (25mph) but really light to carry (important) so you dont have to worry about locking it up get Uscooter/etwow: https://uscooters.com/products/uscooters-2022-gt-sport-powered-by-e-twow Otherwise Segway G2 is fine, there are a million Xaomi and Segway clones too that look the same but they're a bit heavier to carry. all the bigger faster ones are super heavy to carry
