I was looking for the same thing...The lightest scooter I found was 32lbs, goes 19mph and is foldable for an EZ Cary. I am 6'2" and 160, I'm skinny and have no issues lugging it up and down the stairs everyday...It's not namebrand but I've been loving it. It's called Maxpro V1W on Amazon...not name brand but the best ur gonna get for what ur looking for

The Maxshot V1 just arrived and I love it as far as a begginers escooter, goes 19mph and has 20m range, also only 30lbs and foldable

My Maxshot V1 frame had snapped on the way home from school when i simply ducked under a branch. Im looking for a new scooter under $250. I liked the 19MPH maxshot gave me and hopefully theres something more sturdier and just as fast available.

MAXSHOT V1MAX with 10" tires and 500W probably would do it but is 40.8 lbs. and $349 although may be able to do $80 off by getting Amazon Store Card. Mine, similar, would do it but is sold out. It is very easy to get bogged down in grass and requires keeping up speed. My front yard is slightly sloped and easy to get out of but need to use the gravel to get up speed before cutting across coming back up. I saw on video that even the Ausom L1 has trouble going up a slope in grass. I doubt you're supposed to be driving on the grass in a park, most parks with bike trails say stay on the paved trails. I'm wearing a noticeable path between my driveway and front porch. 30 lbs. is very light except for some expensive carbon fiber commuters that still aren't very powerful. Mine is 40 and any upgrade will be heavier. There are also a few scooters with folding handlebars that might be easier to maneuver into a trunk.

Anyone hear any feedback on the Zaprun 1000W. It’s on Amazon for $539 and looks like a really good deal. I bought a Maxshot V1 Max for $350. It’s actually a pretty decent scooter but also struggles on the steeper hills by my apartment.

I used the maxshot v1 for about 6 months before I had to fix the accelerator. Didn't take much effort and after about a year it stopped charging so asurion is currently working on it but I have put in 400+ miles on it so I can't complain considering i only spent $250 at the time

More than 400 less than 500. But no I can't, I use it to get to and from the train station to get to work. It did what I needed it to. I have a protection plan on it that still has another year on it so if anything goes wrong it can get fixed. Is this the answer to everyone's problems? Of course not but it works for me and what I need. Not everyone has $500+/$1000+ to throw at something all at once. To me it was decent enough to justify the $250, which includes the 2 year protection plan

This scooter is bad because I had it for 9 months and it was working but the tires are   unfortunately they tear off after riding it for so long I'm switching to an AovoPro instead of this max shot. The max shot isn't fast how I like to go and you can't mod it to go faster like 30 mph per hour but it's going 19mph.

Here’s my take on the Maxshot V1 Sportscooter. 7.8Ah, no suspension) “I Bought The Best Selling Electric Scooter on Amazon for $199 - and tested it!” https://youtu.be/d9q9aGY7nV0

I am a scooter rider and it really depends on your budget. It is highly recommended to get a scooter from a reputable brand and that come with some basic safety features like a turn signals and a proper rear facing light. Although they can be somewhat expensive, its very much worth the extra dollar, so you can stay safe while having the freedom of micro mobility. For my recommendations: NIU, VMAX, Segway have really good scooters. Avoid the cheap ones that don't have the safety features. They have decent range and have a built in gps locator, so even if someone steals it, you can find it. However, I would not worry about theft because gradguard will cover it. Other reputable brands include Gotrax and Apollo. Both are pretty good, but I don't have much experience with Gotrax. Apollo, on the otherhand, is also a great brand if you can stomach the cost. However, before you set your eyes on an escooter. Range anxiety is a real issue. The reported ranges and top speeds are the brands testing under very good conditions and very light riders and often times on the slowest setting. They are not accurate most of the time. Do not buy from non reputable brands. I do not want to see someone's dorm or house burning down because they bought a cheap scooter from a random company. I also recommend to buy a full face helmet, knee pads, and gloves even on entry level scooters. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. ADHERE TO TRAFFIC LAWS. YOUR NOT A PEDESTRIAN WHEN YOU STEP FOOT ON THAT SCOOTER OR BIKE. I see too many people on campus not adhering to basic traffic laws on both scooters and bikes. Also watch how to properly ride a scooter and make sure to practice on the weekends. Although I am currently injured from falling off my own scooter (broken arm because I was being an idiot and tried to do a trick on it). If you want I can still teach you how to ride a scooter. Just privately message me about the time and date and I'll let you know if I can. Edit: I went through the gradguard policy again, they will not cover anything motorized, so invest in a good lock.
