I got this xiaomi mi electricity scooter elite as my very first escooter, I quite like it so far, its very good for its price, its also a 2025 model being launched this january along with the 5 series, its very good I recommend it as a first scooter
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->I dont know, im a skinny teenager and weigh around 50 kgs, it can go decently uphill, but idk, its rated to go 20 degrees with 75 kg
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->overall it's great, battery is surprisingly good, but at 100 kg it might be less, and charges pretty fast
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->(You want a cheaper option) ==> Xiaomi elite electric scooter... Way cheaper... I have owned it for about 2 months now... So far so good!!! Locked at 25 km/h... Can climb upHills good at 23 k/h... I weigh almost 100Kg... Max capacity 120kg!!!
r/ElectricScooters • Looking to get my 1st electric scooter. ->Hey, man... I recently bought this electric scooter Xiaomi elite... Still waiting to receive it... Can this scooter go upHills I weight 100kg??
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->Reporting that my Xiaomi elite arrived!! I perform a test on a 20% hill... And the scooter can handle it 100% at a speed of 25Kh/h with the battery fully charged. I am a big guy at 100Kg. ✌️ Thanks for your help!!.
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->The battery life is good, but I always charge it after only 14 km, when it’s around 65%. When the battery is at 100%, the scooter can go uphill at 25 km/h! However, when the battery level drops to 60% or less, you can really feel that the scooter becomes weaker on hills. My weight is 96 kg.
r/ElectricScooters • Is Xiaomi Scooter Elite worth it ->The "new" xiamoi 5 electric scooters are out, the cheapest of those is Xiamo Electric Scooter Elite. Where im from, its one of the cheapest scooters with front shock absorbers, is also pretty cheap. Went on my first ride on it yesterday.
r/ElectricScooters • Best e-scooter under €400 ->I got the Elite cause it was cheaper and IMO the diference to the 5 wasnt enough to pay more
r/ElectricScooters • Best e-scooter under €400 ->Its my first scooter, only had it for a few days but seems solid! Can really feel the diference between app/sharing scooters that dont have a front suspension (however im still new to scooter-ing and very biased). For example, 4 Lite is abit cheaper but with a weaker motor, smaller battery (but lighter) no front suspension and 100kg max load. Almost the same with Ninebot E2, except an even smaller load and smaller wheels. (these are exmaples, there are a million scooters). Yes, both of these are \~70 EUR cheaper in stores where im from. If we can assume the durability is the same for all these cheap scooters: Elite is more comfortable because of the front suspension (and a little bit safer because of it too) and also better value where im from (not talking about no name brands). Since it will be the new cheapest xiaomi scooter, probbably easy to get parts too. Theres probbably some cheaper/better scooter somewhere out there, but I dont think you can go wrong with this one.
r/ElectricScooters • Is Xiaomi Scooter Elite worth it ->Tengo una semana de tener el Xiaomi elite y he empezado a escuchar unos chiujidos en la parte trasera del scooter, ¿Será normal eso?
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->Fíjate que no, el sonido suena desde que me subo en la plataforma del scooter, rechina o cruje como cuando uno camina sobre tablas de madera viejas.
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->How is ur battery life so far? Mine is estimated to 25 km in highest speed mode with my 120 kg.... Still to be confirmed. Was Able to climb dual section hill with 30% and 25% incline, but speed dropped to abt 5-7 km/h after 30% part, then increased for 25% section. Motor was quite hot, but not critical. Whole hill distance was abt 300-350 m. Will not probably do that again )). Before the hill there was a 5-7 km drive on a relatively flat surface.... Still considering my weight its a very good result for this scooter.
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->My only gripe is that it's a bit chunky....but taking into consideration battery capacity it's still decent
r/ElectricScooters • My very first e-scooter, the xiaomi mi elite ->I bought it today used it by travelling to my house out of the box the battery was at 45% but quick drained maybe the battery and the scooter itself needs to get used to it and ended up updating the firmware I’ll try to use it tomorrow to go to work (2/4km) travel distance my first impression is for the price (329€+ 60€ for warranty) the build quality is impressive! It’s just great suspension and brakes are surprisingly good keep in mind under 400 it’s a steal! Well it’s my first day I’ll update you how it will perform in the future. And did you bought it? If yes can you tell me your experience with it? Thanks
r/ElectricScooters • Is Xiaomi Scooter Elite worth it ->That's not true. I'm sure there are plenty of companies putting their name on this scooter, but Xiaomi is not one of them. It's obviously based on and probably stolen from Xiaomi. It's basically the m365 with some dinky little front shocks thrown on as a afterthought. The m365 is the best selling scooter of all time (so far). It's basic, not very powerful, and obsolete by 2025 standards, but they were solid little scooters and really good for the money. It's like the Nokia 3310 of scooters. If it's built like a Xiaomi, great. But it's probably not. If they were a decent manufacturer, they probably be making scooters of their own design. It's pretty rare that you find a knock off that's equal to the original. "Oh my fake Rolex is so much better than the stuff that the guys that have been making watches for 400 years put out“-- said no one ever. Here's where it gets tricky. It MIGHT be pretty good, but even if your buddy got one from this company, it's a roll of the dice. Why? Because companies like this don't do any testing or quality control checks. And a lot of times they'll buy rejected components from other manufacturers. Segway takes a lot of shit for being expensive because...well, they're expensive. But a company like Segway is going to bench test each component individually and then test the completed build. If something is out of spec, it gets rejected. It might function, but fail to meet some criteria (efficiency, thermal load, or one of a dozen other criteria that I'm not smart enough to understand). Alas, they probably don't just run a band saw through those components that function but don't pass spec. They wind up in the factory seconds market. And that's where knockoffs and parts bin manufacturers buy a lot of their components. So maybe you get it and it's fine. Better than 50% odds I'd bet. But how long until something fails. Or the wild card-- what if the wrong thing in the battery fails? Is it UL certified? That's really important. It's a pretty basic certification, but if they haven't bothered to go through the certification process, or worse couldn't pass it, you don't want to have anything to do with that scooter. You don't want it in your house, you don't want to in your neighbor's house. Stay away.
