I got this xiaomi mi electricity scooter elite as my very first escooter, I quite like it so far, its very good for its price, its also a 2025 model being launched this january along with the 5 series, its very good I recommend it as a first scooter
I dont know, im a skinny teenager and weigh around 50 kgs, it can go decently uphill, but idk, its rated to go 20 degrees with 75 kg
overall it's great, battery is surprisingly good, but at 100 kg it might be less, and charges pretty fast
I say first buying a xiaomi, learing with smaller speed and the basics, balance foot position and everything, i recommend the xiaomi mi scooter elite or mi scooter 5 pro (5 pro for front and back suspension), you could also get the 5 max, best of the best from xiaomi, but it isn't needed for beginners
(You want a cheaper option) ==> Xiaomi elite electric scooter... Way cheaper... I have owned it for about 2 months now... So far so good!!! Locked at 25 km/h... Can climb upHills good at 23 k/h... I weigh almost 100Kg... Max capacity 120kg!!!
Hey, man... I recently bought this electric scooter Xiaomi elite... Still waiting to receive it... Can this scooter go upHills I weight 100kg??
Reporting that my Xiaomi elite arrived!! I perform a test on a 20% hill... And the scooter can handle it 100% at a speed of 25Kh/h with the battery fully charged. I am a big guy at 100Kg. ✌️ Thanks for your help!!.
The battery life is good, but I always charge it after only 14 km, when it’s around 65%. When the battery is at 100%, the scooter can go uphill at 25 km/h! However, when the battery level drops to 60% or less, you can really feel that the scooter becomes weaker on hills. My weight is 96 kg.
The "new" xiamoi 5 electric scooters are out, the cheapest of those is Xiamo Electric Scooter Elite. Where im from, its one of the cheapest scooters with front shock absorbers, is also pretty cheap. Went on my first ride on it yesterday.
I got the Elite cause it was cheaper and IMO the diference to the 5 wasnt enough to pay more
Its my first scooter, only had it for a few days but seems solid! Can really feel the diference between app/sharing scooters that dont have a front suspension (however im still new to scooter-ing and very biased). For example, 4 Lite is abit cheaper but with a weaker motor, smaller battery (but lighter) no front suspension and 100kg max load. Almost the same with Ninebot E2, except an even smaller load and smaller wheels. (these are exmaples, there are a million scooters). Yes, both of these are \~70 EUR cheaper in stores where im from. If we can assume the durability is the same for all these cheap scooters: Elite is more comfortable because of the front suspension (and a little bit safer because of it too) and also better value where im from (not talking about no name brands). Since it will be the new cheapest xiaomi scooter, probbably easy to get parts too. Theres probbably some cheaper/better scooter somewhere out there, but I dont think you can go wrong with this one.
I've been riding a Xiaomi Elite for about a month now, it's fine.
Xiaomi Elite has been working out well for me, does 25km+ with my 100kg weight.
Nope, no problems yet. I had it for a few months, use it for commuting about 16kms in a day, plus grocery runs, when weather allows. Keep it charged, keep the tires aired up, nothing else needed yet. If there is a problem, Xiaomi is a brand that has actual service centers in Europe, and I bought it from Media Markt, so there's an actual warranty required by EU law. Keep it in a heated space when possible, the battery will thank you for it. Edit: yes, I took it on a longer ride when I got it, 26km to be exact. It still had about 18% battery when I got home. The route has few stops tho, and it was in regular "drive" mode. Still, pretty respectable when it has to haul my 100kg ass around.
The Xiaomi Elite climbs better despite lower watts because it's probably lighter and has better power delivery tuning - watts on paper don't tell the whole story Honestly if you were happy with the Elite before and know its quirks, might be worth just getting another one unless you specifically need that rear suspension for rough roads
