If I may and I don't know if it's available in the states, but the Joyor T10 60v 2x1000w all hydraulic brakes and shock absorbers is quite fantastic in terms of quality/price ratio... Fast (over 40 mph), stable, light and easy to handle, excellent braking, comfortable... Very interesting promotions sometimes, especially on Aliexpress, but it will be more around $600 Otherwise at around $500, the Kukirin G2 is considered a "must have" among young riders near me. The Yume Raptor was mentioned, excellent but very sporty 2x3000w, biker armor recommended 😸

https://www.yumescooter.com/collections/high-performance-scooter/products/raptor-electric-scooter-60v-50mph-6000w?variant=41116216786987 there's the standard 60v27a battery or the Samsung 60v30a battery that I would reccomend more. Range definitely more than you were looking for with the 30a battery. ~50mph top speed, plenty large deck too and custom lights. Customer support is very fast and helpful too. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mKsgV99 or the s5, it got a 60v38a battery bigger than the Yume options but! It only comes with off-road tires and has a twist throttle. Otherwise also 6000w and ~50mph top speed

I would personally take the Raptor. You can option it with street tires and horizontal thumb throttle which is my favorite style as of now. The deck is super wide unlike my hawk which is something I would have preferred to be wider. The heatsinks on the sides help a lot my dissipating all the heat from the controllers. The s5 is great too but I'd put the raptor over it because is only comes with off-road tires and a twist throttle which is easily whiskey throttle-able

Gt3 is a higher quality scooter but the Raptor has a larger battery for more range. Range anxiety is a real thing so if you care about range get the Raptor.

The Segway has more features and a nicer look, it just depends on what you value more. For me I may lean Raptor for the range even though its more of a "parts bin" scooter.

no. 2024 model of it had a design issue that caused stem failure but yume support was amazing and worked it out and its now fixed in 2025 model. super stable have taken it up actually above claimed speed (up to about 55mph on flat terrain) ive taken it 30 or so miles and still had about half a battery left in voltage so actually getting close to claimed range raptor came with a steering damper, mirrors, and a phone holder.

oh and that 30 miles was hard riding. like full throttle highest gear dual motor up hills really pushing it and quick accelerations while riding in traffic. I’m very hard on the scooter and its doing really well.

I think upgraded YUME Raptor is good enough. And to be honest I weigh too much, and I still get a good range on my YUME Raptor.

I have yume raptor. But that'll be above your price range. You can look up yume hawk. That's near the range

I own a yume y11+. Im interested in buying myself a Yume Raptor next. The Raptor have some ideal suspension geometry. Torque for days being dual motor. Its footprint and weight is lower than my y11+. Customer support is good. They honor their warranties. The Raptor has fully adjustable hydraulic suspension. If you get it be careful out there and have fun. Hold on tight haha.

Yes, that be the Yume Raptor. So what the raptor has going for it over the Hawk pro wide is it has 11" tall tires and some people have mentioned that the bottom of deck height to ground is better on the Raptor with it being a little taller. Also the steering geometry on the Raptor is better imo.

The Hawk pro wide is a 10" scooter and been told lower ground clearance. Raptor benefits from 11" tires and a higher ground clearance. And if feel the Raptor steering geometry is a bit more ideal over the hawk.

I loved my Segway ninebot max g3. Battery didn't last very long but like a Cadillac other than that. My Yume raptor is ridiculous. Goes 45 with me and I'm over 200lbs, lasts for a good 40-50 miles. I'm over 400 miles with no problems. My front brakes squeak but that's a small problem in my opinion. Different pads might help that.

I've got hundreds of miles on my Yume raptor with no issues other than some squeaky front brakes. Battery lasts forever. Goes 45 down a straight away with me on it and I'm very big.

I considered the Yume Raptor. And I still believe it’s an incredible scooter. However, I couldn’t convince myself it was worth the extra money over the Kukirin G4 at $900. I did want a seat though, and that sealed the G4 for me. I truly don’t believe a better fast off-road scooter can he had over the Raptor for the $1600 though.

I have a Yume Raptor, it'll do 40-50mph; I think it's a great machine for the money. It cost half as much money as my 20 year old motorcycle, and it has way fewer moving parts/ things to work on. I haven't had it long enough to vouch for durability, but it feels as solid as I imagined it should be, based on my 15 years of motorcycle experience. You should regularly check on the tightness of all bolts and screws, regardless of the brand, it's just basic due diligence.
