Ooo. I do like that scooter. It seems to meet my specs and only 75 bucks more. Just would then need a steering damper for another 200?
r/ElectricScooters • Does anyone have any thoughts? ->Cool. Yeah I don't ever really intend to go 30+ just more looking for the raw power to navigate hills and what not. Also it would be nice to have that speed if necessary. I live in a college town, so horrible drivers, and crappy roads are my biggest complaints. So crushing at 20 to 30 and it's stable? I am used to a single shaft at 18 with no damper, but kind of figured one would be needed at 20+. I guess the two shaft design helps with the stability?
r/ElectricScooters • Does anyone have any thoughts? ->Mukuta 10+ is pretty up there, the gold standard for 40mph scoots is the Nami Kilma, though. The Vsett 10+ can be looked at.
r/ElectricScooters • Best E-Scooter between 1-2k USD ->I wouldn't pay over $1000 for a scooter that doesn't even do 25mph. I paid 1050 for my vsett 9+ that will do 35mph with a 20 ah battery. The ausom gallop does 40+ with a 23ah battery for the same price. Stop considering these mid, weenie scooters if your budget is 1200. Buy a scooter from a local store that has a warranty and does repairs, or you will have a bad time with customer service from any company. These things are dead simple to work on, unless you fry an electrical component that needs replacement, a monkey could do the repairs. If you can't YouTube how to adjust a break caliper, you're gonna have a bad time.
r/ElectricScooters • First Scooter, Which has Best Customer Service in the US? ->Honestly for your weight plus hills and the price range you provided it's almost impossible to find something that will suit your needs to be honest. You're going to have to be willing to spend a little bit more. https://www.yumescooter.com/collections/commuter-off-road-electric-scooter-for-adult/products/y10-electric-scooter-40mph-2400w This is the closest thing that suits your needs and isn't too out of budget. Anything else were talking $1500+ range 😬
r/ElectricScooters • Having a tough time deciding which scooter to buy please help. ->The ausom is the way i would go if you really like the design. I'd highly recommend at searching yume scooters. I have a y11+. Customer service and support has been good. The y11+ is a monster and I really don't recommend it if you ever EVER have to carry it up stairs. The y10 i will recommend for you. You're going to want dual motor to do stuff off-road. You don't want to be too low on power that you have to walk/lug the scooter up wherever. Their swift model advertise 20° hill capable. Their y10 has higher weight capacity and dual motor and robust suspension. For some reason yume scooters didn't quote a hill climbing angle capabilities for y10 model. My y11 is 30° hill. Swift is single motor 20° hill. So somewhere between there. You may not want the top speed. I have powerful scooters but I don't like going fast. But to have power available when you need it it is what you want.
r/ElectricScooters • Which Scooter? Segway ZT3, Ausom Leopard DT1 Pro, or GoTrax GX1 ->I have a yume scooter. I have the y11+, the x11 is similar in specs and same with Hawk pro wide scooter. Those scooters are dual motor and will practically climb a vertical wall. The normal Hawk model and the y10 are a lot more modest.... but most definitely not weak by any means. The hill grade climb capabilities is not rated as percentage, it's rated by degrees which is MUCH more significant than %of same number. Hawk is 60v so you get more power and range... but the y10 is very similar just less voltage and a little less power and range. Between all those scooters, your main decisions will be more visual esthetics and what performance the geometry suspension provides. I have only ever used "fork type" front suspension and never c-type so I don't know the difference in performance on it personally.
r/ElectricScooters • List of the best non-Chinese scooters ->Yume Y10…. Take a look at it
r/ElectricScooters • Does anyone have any thoughts? ->Yes. Just got mine 2 days ago and I absolutely love it! Steering dampener definitely useful but not entirely needed. I’m making do without it for a little, just not going full speed and I’m fine. Now if I wanted to continually do top speed, I’d need a dampener. But for right now I’m good. Definitely want one tho.
r/ElectricScooters • Does anyone have any thoughts? ->Yessir. Also bigger tires and such. My previous scooter did 25 with no dampener. Not necessary. Helpful, but not necessary
r/ElectricScooters • Does anyone have any thoughts? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
