The ausom is the way i would go if you really like the design. I'd highly recommend at searching yume scooters. I have a y11+. Customer service and support has been good. The y11+ is a monster and I really don't recommend it if you ever EVER have to carry it up stairs. The y10 i will recommend for you. You're going to want dual motor to do stuff off-road. You don't want to be too low on power that you have to walk/lug the scooter up wherever. Their swift model advertise 20° hill capable. Their y10 has higher weight capacity and dual motor and robust suspension. For some reason yume scooters didn't quote a hill climbing angle capabilities for y10 model. My y11 is 30° hill. Swift is single motor 20° hill. So somewhere between there. You may not want the top speed. I have powerful scooters but I don't like going fast. But to have power available when you need it it is what you want.
r/ElectricScooters • Which Scooter? Segway ZT3, Ausom Leopard DT1 Pro, or GoTrax GX1 ->I've owned a y11+ since February. I have put ~3000 miles on it. The battery is still good, there is no noticeable degradation but any battery obviously starts losing it's life. Their customer support has been good for me. I think it's about best you'd expect from them being on the other side of the world. Obviously a lot of people out there are trying their best to always get free stuff from warranty issues. But I've one shock in back go out. They asked for short video of the shock closing too much. I sent the video and then they just verified my address and sent me a new shock. Other than that shock I have not had any other issues. I've also had random question for them and they answer. Most recent I asked what the bms they use and got the answer. So they've responded to me within a day since their timezone is way different than USA. And I sent a message on a Saturday one time wondering something and I figured they were off for the weekend because they answered Monday. I wish I could say I know someone else that's had a yume scooter product. I'm not a sales pusher for their company. Just trying to give you what I've dealt with. I don't know how bad the batteries are affected in extreme cold as no scooter battery pack is happy in the cold. I also live in Phoenix Arizona and drive it usually as daily transportation and in the past summer temps recorded of around 120°f and 130 in some areas and i didn't have any issues with that.
r/ElectricScooters • Which Scooter? Segway ZT3, Ausom Leopard DT1 Pro, or GoTrax GX1 ->I have a yume scooter. I have the y11+, the x11 is similar in specs and same with Hawk pro wide scooter. Those scooters are dual motor and will practically climb a vertical wall. The normal Hawk model and the y10 are a lot more modest.... but most definitely not weak by any means. The hill grade climb capabilities is not rated as percentage, it's rated by degrees which is MUCH more significant than %of same number. Hawk is 60v so you get more power and range... but the y10 is very similar just less voltage and a little less power and range. Between all those scooters, your main decisions will be more visual esthetics and what performance the geometry suspension provides. I have only ever used "fork type" front suspension and never c-type so I don't know the difference in performance on it personally.
r/ElectricScooters • List of the best non-Chinese scooters ->I own a yume y11+. Im interested in buying myself a Yume Raptor next. The Raptor have some ideal suspension geometry. Torque for days being dual motor. Its footprint and weight is lower than my y11+. Customer support is good. They honor their warranties. The Raptor has fully adjustable hydraulic suspension. If you get it be careful out there and have fun. Hold on tight haha.
r/ElectricScooters • Looking to buy a scooter on sale today, where should I look? And what should I get? ->So, that's a more dated design. Its most definitely a well built scoot. I wanted a x11 but it was a bit above the y11 price and the y11 is the fork style I wanted. With owning the scooter the design of the front steering stem is flawed. Fully extended theres just way too much flex. Once I lowered the handlebar and put a seat on my y11 is when I finally felt solid handlebar not flexing multiple inches each way. So based on the steering stem i dont recommend x11 or y11. The Yume Hawk Pro Wide and the Raptor are the 2 I would suggest to look at. Plus raptor and hawk have adjustable hydraulic suspension.
r/ElectricScooters • Looking to buy a scooter on sale today, where should I look? And what should I get? ->Personal example: Currently 6'2", 270 lbs. Normally use cargo ebikes due to size and distance traveled (before retirement 20 mile round trip to work and home minimum). Picked up a Yume y11+ last year that I'm happy with. Made a 21 mile run and had some spare in the battery at the end. Is it great? Well, no but it's stable, dual motor and has a decent battery capacity. The stems strong enough to hold grocery bags (using stem brackets) for weekly shopping and the parts are all common replacement pieces. Though locktite and non-knobby tires need to be the first thing on the list to get when getting one.
