Same, happened to two already. I've switched over to happy brush now.

Had it for two weeks and I like it more than the Sonicare, tbh. The only thing that "bothers" me is that the button has a delay when turning on and off. If your hands/toothbrush are wet, it might take a couple of presses until you turn it off. But apart from that, really good quality, handling and feel.

I just retired my Oral-B for a happybrush from Germany. Very... well... happy with it.

Are you in Europe? If so, I strongly recommend the happy brush

I'm using my Happy Brush several years now and very happy with it. Before that I had different ones from Braun, but they had always problems with battery life. Still using my first Happy Brush and never had problem with the battery. Can use it for weeks before charging again. My Braun one needed recharging almost every 2-3 days. This wasn't just one bad Braun model (and most of the time the expensive ones), but several in a row over several years until I finally made the switch and never looked back.

I have an electric toothbrush at home but don't take it with me when travelling (yet?). However I recently learnt there's a travel version of my toothbrush which may be relevant for you? I have the Happybrush eco vibe and there's a Happybrush eco vibe LITE specifically for travelling. It's rechargeable via USB C which I think is genius.  My toothbrush lasts at least six weeks between charges.

[Happybrush](https://www.happybrush.de/products/schallzahnbuerste-eco-vibe-3-set-s) Eco Vibe 3+, based and made in Germany. Bit cheaper than a comparable model by Philips but just as good (according to a few tests), 8 weeks of battery life, made with 100% recycled plastic. I have one and I'm very happy (lol) so far

Btw if you're looking for a more ecological and a bit cheaper alternative, there's the Happybrush [Eco Vibe 3+](https://www.happybrush.de/products/schallzahnbuerste-eco-vibe-3-set-s). I have one, and it's been amazing so far. Made from 100% recycled materials (except the brushes themselves, those are made from bioplastic) https://preview.redd.it/8nyxoy652vif1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5986a768c38f139bf32d43f3f773c5465e9608c3

oh, yeah I meant to say the plastic parts are 100% recycled 😅 the inner parts (electronics, battery, motor etc) are not
