I decied to buy the new Laifen wavepro and it looks pretty solid esp for the price. Might be worth checking out!
I travel a lot for work too. Two things I always bring now are a pair of long-lasting Bluetooth earbuds and a multi-port charger. The charger is honestly a lifesaver, otherwise the cables for my phone, laptop, and random gadgets would completely take over my bag. For personal care, I recently switched to the Laifen Wave Pro toothbrush. They are mostly known for hair dryers—I actually bought their Mini dryer about a year and a half ago, and it travels everywhere with me because it packs small and dries my hair super fast. Since the dryer was such a good investment, I decided to give their new brush a try, and it’s surprisingly solid. The biggest win for my travel sanity is that the battery lasts for like 70 days. I just leave the magnetic charger at home completely. One less cable/dock to worry about makes hotel-hopping way less chaotic.
While I also am a fan of the Laifen Wave (the one that charges USB-C), it might be a little disingenuous to call it BIFL after a couple days. I’ve had mine 6 months and while it seems to be holding up well, I’ve had other Sonicare or Oral-B electric toothbrushes fail after 9-12 months.
If you like vibrating - Philips sonicare. If you like oscillating - oral b If you like vibrating and oscillating - laifen. I've tried all 3. I prefer laifen. I know many ppl who do not like the sensation of vibrations on teeth. If you belong to this category buy an oral b.
I really like the Laifen toothbrush. It’s made from better materials, has higher build quality and clearly a much stronger motor. And the replacement brush heads from the original manufacturer are under $5 each.
I love my Laifen brush. It’s so powerful and while I don’t feel it replaces flossing, it’s much better at covering for me when I don’t floss than either the oral b or sonicare ever was. I also think the strong vibrations on the gums is likely good for them, I have noticed improvement in the numbers for gum recession I get at my bi yearly cleanings since switching to the brush. I also love that the Laifen brush heads are sold at a much better price than the OEM brush heads from sonicare and oral b
Laifen- tried so many and love this one so much
