I've used a AA battery powered Oral-B for travel for about 20 years now. The current version appears to be the Oral-B Pro 100 line. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if mine stops working for some reason.
I love my electric toothbrush. I have a cheap oral-b one (they’re like $25 and then you buy replacement heads). It might not be quite as powerful as an expensive one, but it’s doing me a lot of good. I find it easier to use because I don’t have to scrub the actual toothbrush as hard. When my jaw hurts, I can still manage the back teeth because the vibration is doing so much of the work. The head is also a little smaller than a regular toothbrush, which means it’s easier to get around the back of the last teeth.
It’s the Oral B Pro 100, should be between 15-20. Replacement heads are maybe 5 each (sold in sets). I bought mine at the supermarket, but pharmacies should have them too. The buzzing is a little weird at first, but you get used to it. I don’t think it’s as powerful as the expensive ones, but I’m ok with the compromise.
currently using oral b pro 100. nabili ko for 1.1k sa p&g tiktok. it's the first electric toothbrush I would have tried kaya yung pinakamura sa pro series lang binili ko. I wish I got the pro 500 kasi walang battery indicator yung pro 100. once a week charging, pero minsan namamatay habang gamit ko kasi no visual cue na lowbat na pala. I also prefer the cross action brush head over the sensitive clean. almost 1 year ko na gamit, no issues naman. for water floss, I'm using h2ofloss. got it from lazada. ok naman. once a month charging. I only ever use the jet tip. been using for over a year with no issues.
I have the [Oral-B Pro 100](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.JlmSJ?cc) for a good year na rin. It works just as it did before. Ang faulty na Oral-B toothbrush I think is yung Oral-B CrossAction Pro. I had that before I bought the Pro 100 and it didn’t even last 3 months humina na yung rotation. Stir away from that model.
The Oral B AA battery version is cheap and powerful. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MMBCYRM I’ve tried several lightweight AAA type brushes and they lack horsepower. I got a USB charger for my Sonicare.
The small battery models just don’t have the horsepower and you’ll get what you pay for. The Oral B AA battery model has decent power but it’s a bulky as my Sonicare and an accessory USB charger. I would check to see if a USB charger is available for your Oral B. The exact model number would be helpful.
Switching to an electric toothbrush has been life-changing for me. I made the switch a few years ago and noticed my gums became much healthier. I prefer using the Oral‑B Pro 100 battery operated version instead of the built in rechargeable type. I just use rechargeable batteries. I also buy the generic replacement brush heads instead of branded ones.
I bought the Oral-b AA battery travel one and like it. In fact my travel shaver is also AA powered and fine too.
Which power tooth brush were you using? Some brushes have different brush heads, I personally like the oral B with the sensitive head, then there are a few other ones like the floss action which I would not recommend if you are sensitive. You can check their website for more options.
Oral B pro100!!! May travel case na sya. Bought it for 600+ pesos only sa watsons orange app during sale szn. Life changing. 🙌🏻
I returned the cheaper model of the IO series I tried after a few months. Looks new and sleek. For the life of my wife and I, we never had a messier tooth brush experience. Always had toothpaste foaming out our mouth and the handle. Never had this issue with any electric toothbrush I’ve tried before. Costco took back the twin pack of Brushes, and the Brush heads I eagerly bought in advance. Now I have the Base Oral B toothbrush and not IO
