I've tried both and honestly prefer Oral-B. The round head gets into the spaces between teeth better imo. Currently using the Smart 1500 and it's perfect - has pressure sensor and 3 modes but not all the unnecessary smart features
[best electric toothbrush 2025](https://www.electricteeth.com/best-electric-toothbrush/) I recently bought a sonicare 4100 for me and a Oral B smart 1500 for my wife and we like them. I researched Suri but they have a seemingly design flaw that many people reported that when you se the brush upright and water is on the counter, the charging contacts corrode and stop working.
Which power tooth brush were you using? Some brushes have different brush heads, I personally like the oral B with the sensitive head, then there are a few other ones like the floss action which I would not recommend if you are sensitive. You can check their website for more options.
I’ve used a number of Oral B smart brushes over the last 15 years and haven’t had any issue. The only problem I’ve had is the newest line, the battery is not holding much of a charge anymore. But this isn’t really a brush issue, it’s a battery. And you can replace them.
Get the cheapest oral b that includes a pressure sensor and the quadrant timer. Anything else is a waste of money. I used to have the top of the range oral b with Bluetooth and an app, when it wore out I got a standard one because no one needs any of that shit.
I can't deinfluence you. Also recommended by dentists. But not just any electric toothbrush. Wag yung mga replaceable batteries. Only rechargeable Buy the "Oscillating" ones. Not just any electric.
Oral B. But Xiaomi is a good brand also. Kahit yung water flossing.
I've had the oral B rotating ones for ages but ended up switching to Philips sonicare, a million times better in all aspects for me. It cleans much better throughout, no gum damage, quicker and the heads last longer. They are more expensive to replace, but they are worth it in the long term with less replacements needed. There are alternative heads on Amazon that are cheaper, some are good but others can destroy your gums, so it's a hit and miss if you take the cheaper replacement option. I believe even the basic models of sonicare have pressure monitoring, if you press it too hard it will give you a warning.
I agree the gimmicks are annoying, but a rotating brush is leagues better than simply vibrating. Oral-b is the only toothbrush I’ve found that rotated and functions nearly as well as the polisher the dentist uses.
Do you guys find it cleans well? Looking at version 2.0. I never tried a sonic toothbrush but I've read some people find it too gentle. I'm using an oral b rotating and I don't enjoy the experience (big and bulky, rubber wears off, gets dirty, very noisy) but leaves my clean well cleaned
