I got the Oral-B Vitality Pro, years ago. It’s all I need, and my dentist gives my teeth very favourable feedback.
It didn’t make sense to me to go for the IO models, because I don’t need another useless smart appliance with zero genuine additional benefits.
ps. Interdental brushes work better for me than floss. I stopped having sensitive gums when I switched to using them daily instead of flossing. YMMV
I have multiple Oral-B brushes. Different models run at different speeds. So while I don’t think their smart brush is worth it, the better Pro series is. My pro one comes with 4x30 second timers, and a pressure warning, in addition to a better motor than my other few.
Quip sucks. I had one for a couple years and replaced it with an oral b. What a world of difference. I got the basic one without the silly app download and love it.
Definitely worth it in my view. As others have said, you don't need to invest in one of the mad expensive models. I have a fairly basic oral b one and it's excellent, held up for 7 years now.
One thing I'd recommend is getting the soft-bristled brush heads, it was suggested by my dentist
