I bought this Sonicare about 1.5 years ago on Amazon for under $20 - Still works great. I've used sonicare for the past 10 years and have been satisfied, with my hygienist commenting that they could tell I use an electric toothbrush. However I have found that they tend to fail after about 3-5 years, and instead of buying another set from Costco for $150+, I just bought a basic one from Amazon for around $30 and it works just as well.
search for Sonicare 1100 Power on Amazon - it is a "basic" Sonicare model, not Amazon Basic
My $19-20 1100 one is still working 9 years later too. Except I haven't noticed my battery drain :)
The 1100 at walmart for $19-20 has lasted me 9+ years and has not gotten worse or anything. Love it!
I tried an electric toothbrush once and hated it because I felt like I cleaned my teeth better with a manual. At the time, I didn't know squat about electric toothbrushes so I think I can attribute me hating it to not knowing any better and I got a dumb vibrating one that was cheap. Later on in my adult years, I bought a Philips Sonicare 1100 for $19-20 at walmart and I've had the same one since. Think I was 22-23 when I bought it? I am now 28 almost 29. It was a learning curve at first but now I could never go without it and put people on the same one. Not sure why people are adamant on sonicares not lasting lol because mine has lasted THIS long lol (unless they are dropping it a lot or something silly). I also clean the part where you would connect a head onto as well as leaving that dirty and built up will affect the motor and etc. So maybe people aren't taking care of theirs well or they got defective units. Thinking about getting a 4100 though because it has more power and I'm a geek about my dental routine. :) I'd also like to remark that going from manual to electric, it's still just a matter of learning how to use it and adapting (whether sensation, brushing, etc). It tickled me at first too but after using it for a week, I didn't even notice it lol.
I use a Phillips Sonicare 1100 for a long time. It costs $20-30. The timer is great, I do like the vibrations - no cavities and only good dentist reports since I started using it.
A basic rechargeable sonic care or oral b. The more expensive versions have more bells and whistles but the basic models have the timer and they work the same in terms of cleaning. That information came directly from the sales rep that comes to our office. Either brand is fine that’s just personal preference.
Yung Hx3641/41 po na color white with timer
Get a Sonicare 1100 and one of these things https://a.co/d/hdQCGHN Sonicare brush heads last longer than Oral B and I prefer brushing with them. The toothbrush will generally last a week on one charge if you brush thoroughly twice a day. If you're traveling for longer than that pack the charger too which is about the size of a golf ball.
Sorry but the ones at Costco are the more expensive versions with useless extra features, and usually come in a two-pack. For a frugal choice, the $20 Philips sonicare 1100 from Amazon is the clear choice here.
Get a Philips sonicare 1100 from Amazon for about $20. It cleans just as well as the diamond clean pro XL super ultra blah blah that costs $100. All the features of the expensive ones are superfluous.
Super easy to answer this one: Sonicare 1100 from Amazon for $20. The secret about the Sonicare toothbrush line is that you really only need the base model. It cleans exactly the same as all of the more expensive brushes. All of the other more expensive brushes just have superfluous features like RFID brush head replacement alerts and Bluetooth pairing to your phone for "coaching" (whatever that is). It's all bunk and all unnecessary beyond just brushing your teeth, which all lines do equally. I originally bought some higher end ones from Costco for me and my wife, and after a few years, mine broke. I replaced it with the 1100 and haven't missed *any* of the features that came with the more expensive one.
Had a diamond clean for a couple of years that finally died. Here's the real pro tip: unless you use any of the fancy features, just get the $20 Sonicare 1100 off Amazon. It cleans exactly the same as the more expensive versions, it just doesn't have all the superfluous features like Bluetooth coaching and RFID brush head life alerts and crap. If you, like me, picked that thing up and turned it on every day and brushed your teeth and then put it back down, like I suspect 98% of people do with theirs, then I swear all you need is the 1100. Don't waste your money with the others, they have no meaningful increase in value.
Same. My dentist recommended it, I bought the black one because it matched a lot of my decor. I’ve had it more than five years and it’s going strong
I used Sonicare during Invisalign. The slim head was great for cleaning around attachments and buttons.
