Based on 1 year's data from Mar 20, 2026 How it works
HX9368/35 (Sonicare Diamond Clean), purchased 2018. 2020 I was concerned about the seal flaws, so I purchased a new designed seal from eBay, a UK seller. Fitted it. Haven't had any issues. I open it yearly to inspect internals for any corrosion. 2025(December) the "white" LED is dimmer than the others. But I've never used the other modes honestly, only ever used the "Clean" mode. I never kept it on constant charge, only when the battery indicator shows amber, then I place on charge.
Diamond care. Nothing comes close.
Have you tried the Diamond care? Compare it to all the other models out there and again, there's nothing that even comes close.
for EDS, the main things i'd focus on are a super soft bristle toothbrush (like the colgate extra soft or sensodyne pronamel soft), since a lot of us have gum sensitivity and fragile tissue that gets irritated easily. an electric toothbrush like an oral-B or sonicare on a sensitive setting can also be a game changer because you don't have to press as hard, which helps avoid bruising or micro-tears. for toothpaste, sensodyne is a pretty popular choice in this community because it's gentle and helps with sensitivity. biotene is another good one if you deal with dry mouth, which is pretty common with EDS and dysautonomia overlap. also worth mentioning since a lot of us deal with POTS or general dysautonomia alongside EDS, staying on top of electrolytes actually makes a real difference in how your whole body feels, including things like dry mouth and fatigue that can affect oral health. i've been using salties, which are just unflavored electrolyte drops, and they're easy to add to any drink without messing with your routine. but back to the actual dental stuff, definitely check with your dentist about fluoride treatments if you have enamel issues, and ask about a custom mouthguard if you're a jaw clencher since hypermobility can make TMJ stuff way worse.
I had the Philips Diamondcare, it was fun for a bit. Nifty app and timer that helped me develop better habits, but then it died. Got them to replace it, and the next one died after a year. Instead of buying another I went with the cheapest Philip that had a timer. A tooth brush that has a 2 minute timer is good by me. Probably won’t go back to diamondcare…
I had one of the old diamondclean models and it stopped working so i ordered a new diamondclean model from philips which was useless - i ended up buying the older model from aliexpress and it worked perfectly
I use the Philips diamondcare. Although on the expensive side it has great individual settings for things like gum health and whitening and a built in timer.
Sonicare diamond clean user here. Going strong 4th year. Before the black redesign i had the white one. It worked great no issues but the power button seal broke and I started getting water in so I replaced it.

I am not a fan of the vibrations of the SonicCare. Much prefer the oral-b heads and how it functions. I also like that after the 2 minute time it keeps going so I can get my tongue. I don't think either one is really better. Do it based on replacement head cost.
My newer one is a diamond clean and is going very strong. I have no idea what the other one is, it’s a million years old
I have no idea. I bought it like 3 years ago by now
The diamondclean is the old one, the previous flagship
