I bought a sonicare from Amazon for cheap and it lasted about a year. I bought another sonicare from my dentist and it's still going strong, six years later.

I've been using Sonicare toothbrushes forever. I usually get the package of 2 of them, in case I can convince my husband to use one (unsuccessful so far) or for travel. I like the one I have now since it has more "intelligence" and lets me know when to replace the brush head.

Suri. Built to last, cheap, quiet, ergonomic, and with a 40+ day battery life. Outlasted my multiple SoniCares which kept breaking, and still going strong today.

Nimbus for manual. Oral B electric with the extra soft TB heads. After 13 years of clinical practice and personal experience I *do not* recommend Phillips Sonicare.

It just doesn’t get the teeth as clean. It leaves behind a grainy film which doesn’t seem to ever happen with the Oral B. I’ve seen it over and over on people throughout the years and personally experienced it.

I actually disagree with the other comment and prefer the oral B. I have both and I’ve been using the sonicaire for about a month now. They both are great but oral B feels more gentle. The sonicaire is pretty intense and since it’s larger I think there is slightly more potential to incorrectly clean the gums, causing damage.

Yeah it’s definitely a personal preference thing! I can understand why some people prefer the usual brush head of the sonicaire because it feels more familiar.

Yeah why does my oral B get moldy and my sonicaire doesn’t? Also an RDH. 😂

I prefer Oral B to my Sonicaire. Look up BASS brushing technique on YouTube but also there are videos how to specifically brush with an electric because you do not need to use a scrubbing motion.

I prefer the oral B iO. Oral B brush head is better in general when used properly imo especially in the back. The only thing I do prefer about the sonicaire is they don’t get that mold issue that oral B has not figured out yet. I just have to frequently remove and clean out the brush head area on the oral B.

I use and love the Aquasonic Vibe. I paid about $35 for it. It comes with 8 replacement heads, a travel case, 4 cleaning modes, and warranty. It also times your brushing in 30 second increments for each part of your mouth. The replacement heads are $30 for 8 but I won't need to buy more for a long time (the company says it is 2 years worth that comes with the toothbrush initially) so i thought that was do able. I finally bought mine after my best friend bought his last year and recommended. I wish I would've have gotten one sooner. I personally like it better than my Phillips Sonicare and I used that thing for the last 15 years.
