I bought three of these and one did have a proprietary charger. Annoying but I liked the shade of green so I kept it. Just check. The pale pink does not.
I use this same one but AAA battery powered.
How long have you had yours? I've had mine since this March and taken it on one month-long trip, one 10-day trip, and recently an 8-day trip (not to mention several weekend getaways), and the case is still holding strong. I'm curious if the flap issue is something that happens over time?
I use Oral-B at home, but since they are HUGE and require a charging dongle I bought a Philips One (with USB-C). The good thing with the Philips One is that it is small and keeps the charge much longer than the stone age Oral B:s. However, the brushing effect is MUCH worse than the Oral B. I’d say that the Philips One is only slightly better than a manual. I would not buy again. Use a manual or bring the Oral B.
Yes, here in EU there are two versions: - one battery -powered (where you exchange the standard battery when it’s empty) and - one USB-C version, with rechargable battery
They changed it recently to no longer be USB rechargeable. Now it’s a proprietary cable. They ruined it. 🙃
Not anymore, no. They used to, but now they’ve changed it to a proprietary cable.
For me, yes, though depends on the trip and the length. Over three days, I really miss my sonicare. Get one of the USB-C chargers, then all you need is phone charger & cord you will already be carrying with you. There are many different styles, but this one weighs nothing: [amazon.com/dp/B0FB922YS4?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_fed\_asin\_title](http://amazon.com/dp/B0FB922YS4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title)
I used to use this one but after a 2-month trip away, my dental hygienist noticed a big difference in plaque build-up compared to my normal cleanings. It just doesn’t brush as well as a regular electric toothbrush. My husband had noticed that he didn’t feel his teeth were as clean during our trip too, so he decided to bring his normal electric toothbrush on our next trip. So now all I bring is the toothbrush head! Maybe that’s cheating but it’s worth it!
Another vote for this one: picked it up for travelling since I never felt clean enough with a manual tooth brush and it's great. Good size, light, better than nothing. I appreciate it has its own case for protection and propping my brush up on it to dry in places I don't have a cup at the sink or I am using the cup to hold my make up.
I’ve got this too. It’s great and is just part of my travel kit.
I use this toothbrush on a daily basis and love it. It’s rechargeable with a usb c to a regular usb. Fits in a toiletry bag and is perfect for road life. [Sonicare](https://www.target.com/p/philips-sonicare-rechargeable-electric-toothbrush-hy1200-06-black/-/A-80129870)
Same. I use it with a lithium AAA battery. Usually lives at work, but comes on vacation with me if it’s gonna be more than a day or two. I usually pair it with a slightly more abrasive toothpaste (in the form of tablets or tooth powder), so don’t mind that it has less power.
