Philips Sonicare - ProtectiveClean 4300 Sonic electric toothbrush

I've used sonicare Toothbrushes for over a decade now they do work great, and last quite a long time

Guess i'be been lucky then, my current one has already lasted for 5 years (previous one also lasted around 6 years)

Hmm Bottom of the Brush claims H680A, which i really can't seem to exactly match to a particular model... it's probably discontinued. Now visually it does seem a pretty close match to the Sonicare ProteciveClean 4300

Nekem eddig Oral-B volt, forgófejes, vmi régebbi modell. A páromnak vettem Philips Sonicare 4300-at, de ő nem akarja használni, mert nem tetszik neki, higy rezeg. Bevallom első használkor úgy odaütöttem a fogamhoz, hogy harapásnyom lett a kefefejen. Azóta óvatosabb vagyok, jobban kinyitom a számat ha hátul mosom és IMÁDOM! A forgófejest is nagyon szeretem /szerettem, nem is akartam váltani, de annyira tisztának érzem a fogamat a Sonicare-től, hogy el sem hiszem. Nekem nem csikiz. A párom a rezgés miatt nem akaja kipróbálni, lehet hogy te is kevésbé torelárod.

Sonicare 4300-am a garis idő lejárta után veszett hangosan kezdett el rezegni csendes módban is, a fém pöcke nagyon mozog kikapcsolt állapotban is, utánanéztem... a szokásos tervezett elévülés. Javítani nehezen lehet, nem arra szánták ezt, hogy szétszedje a mezei vásárló és meghegessze a fém pöcök akármit. :( Rendre ilyesmiket írtak a fórumokon, hogy vagy ugyanez történt velük és váltottak, vagy vígan újraveszik 2-3 évente, mert ezt szeretik, ez ennyit bír... én nem arra készültem, hogy kb. 2 évre "bérelem" a fogkefét. 🥲 Váltottam Oral-B IO 3-ra, ez még az a kategória, amihez nincs app. Szeretem, és ezt szét lehet szedni az alján rendesen, ha akkumulátort (elemet) kéne cserélni benne, így bízom benne, hogy ez hosszabb távú használat lesz. Más alkatrészei vannak, nincs benne az a vacak, ami a Philipsekben x éven belül garantáltan tönkremegy.

Probably just my luck, but I bought Sonicare 4300 and it broke after 2 years of usage. I'll go for 6100 now and lets hope it lasts much more years and is built better.

had one older Sonicare for more than 5 years. just got a new one less than a year. specifically chose this non smart model.

Same. I had HX6830 which is a mid price version and it was made in China. Lasted me about 1.5 years and stopped working. It was still under 2 years warranty and I got HX685B sent to me as a replacement, it’s a bit better model but still made in China.

I've used Sonicare for at least two decades. My first brush was E-series lasted me for like 15 years and the only reason why I upgraded it is because I fell in love with the look of DiamondClean series. That first E-series brush was actually still going strong when I got rid of it. DiamondClean was the best because unlike the cheaper models it didn't have any nukes and crannies for gunk to collect it, especially on the bottom because there was no hole for the charger. It looked amazing, but after 7 years the button finally stopped working - it's not sealed and while I always rinse and wipe down the brush after use eventually there was enough build-up to stop working. When I went ahead to look for replacements I was horrified at the price points. I will never get another diamond clean again because now I know the button is a weak point and no matter how much of a clean freak you are, eventually it will get all clogged up. So, for that ultra clean design and minimalist appeal Prestige is really the only option for me. But I just cannot bring myself to cough up that kind of coin. And I know I'll never use any of the smart features. It may be a darn good toothbrush, but it's still a toothbrush, and I want to use it like a toothbrush. I bought 4300 series, low budget model which only has one cleaning mode. I hate that it has all the nooks and crannies for the residue to collect, but it's cheap enough where I really don't care if I have to dispose of it. Build quality is definitely NOT there. I'll be surprised if it lasts me for more than two years. But cleaning experience is the same as DiamondClean,, which I kept just on clean mode and never used any of the smart features. I do miss how easy it was to keep clean that brush though. Can't win.

They were made in China for a while that's for sure. My HX680B is made in China. I guess they moved production to Europe for the newer / upmarket models?

Nekem philips sonicare 4300 van, nagyon-nagyon szeretem. Bánom, hogy nem ruháztam be előbb egy szónikusra, mert jó befektetés a fogak/fogíny szempontjából. A dm-ben is láttam egy tök jó saját márkásat, szerintem ár-érték arányban biztosan az is szuperklassz!
