Took some searching because it doesn’t say on it, but it’s the sonicare protectivecare 4500. I got it on sale.
I just bought this. Do you still like it? The glass seems interesting but I dunno. My 6000 broke and my fiancée’s 4500 seemed worse than manual brushing. So upgraded both of ours. Soooo many bells and whistles i’m not into; but the bad experience going down in model sent me up in model. Can’t really tell if it’s perception.
Every sonicard that I've bought has broken down within 2 years. They are good but definitely not BIFL.
I’m a dental hygienist. You do not need a $380 electric TB. I do love a Sonicare but the ability of a toothbrush to light up and connect to Bluetooth in no way helps with oral hygiene. There’s a Sonicare protective clean on Amazon for like $70 or a Sonicare 4100 for $40. Those would both be great options on a budget
Get not the cheapest nor the most expensive model of Sonicare. It’s around $80 and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the $200 one. It’s the protective clean line. The cheapest ones have a crappy motor.
We had Sonicare and, despite looking like Kanye's toothbrush (with all the rose gold acents), it doesn't clean as well as the Oral-B's we've had since. This was confirmed by my dental hygienist.
My Sonicare with travel case (with integrated charger) is by far the best electric toothbrush I have ever used. Came here to say this.
Not bulky, no. And the built in charger is a blessing.
I got mine in 1992 and it lasted til 2004. Got my second in 2020 and still using it. I bought a second one at the same time, just in case.
I’ve had the Sonicare range from the days before Philips bought it, thankfully they didn’t ruin it. Recently bought my mum an inexpensive one as the oral b she complained always ran out of charge. Ordo from Amazon, she was happy with it.
I bought a sonicare from Amazon for cheap and it lasted about a year. I bought another sonicare from my dentist and it's still going strong, six years later.
